Dual Alpha

(Nate woke up growling and stretching) Nate: Ah! Another day.... (He got out of his bed and went towards the window. After a few seconds, someone knocked on the door.) Come in. Jackson:(Got in) Wow, you woke up quite late as always. Nate: (Turned around and looked at him) Yes, maybe because I like sleeping very late so obviously I am going to wake up late, right? Jackson: I guess you are right. Anyways, what do you have planned for today? Nate: I am planning to go and look for peace. Jackson: What do you mean? ( Looked at Nate with a confused expression) Nate: (Looked at Jackson directly in the eyes) Jackson, aren't you tired of being in this war zone! Huh? (His anger rose and all of a sudden, his eyes turned from brown to grey colour and let out a growl) Jackson:(Got frightened and surprised at the same time) Nate, your eyes! Are... are another colour! The colour of an A.... Nate: Jackson, I know, they have turned from brown to yellow. l know! We are werewolves, after all.. Jackson: Yeah, I know we are werewolves, but your eyes are not yellow. They're grey in colour. The colour of an Alpha Nate: What! That can't be! Jackson: That means you are the next Alpha, but you will have to fight Desman so that you can be the official Alpha. Cool! I'm best friends with the next Alpha! Nate: No! No! Not cool. I want peace! I don't want to be at the front line of the war and I don't want to fight anyone. (He fully transformed into a wolf with black, shiny and silky fur.) No no no nooooo... (He let out a loud howl which made the whole territory of Shadow Moon pack , shake) Jackson:(Trying to maintain his posture.) Wow! The look and howl of an Alpha. (Desman also heard the howl. He ordered the other people of the pack to find the source of the howl.) {At Desman's office} Desman:(Looking at Aiden with tension and worry) Did you hear that howl? Aiden: Yes sir. It shook me till to the core of my bones! Desman: That howl could only be made by an Alpha who contained one the two of the Ancient Spirit wolves. But how? The two Spirit wolves have not chosen anyone for up to a thousand years. So that means there is a wolf who is worthy to be Alpha. No not even worthy but chosen! ( His worry worsened) My time is almost up. Anytime that unknown wolf will come and challenge me. Of course I'm going to lose! Aiden: No no... Alpha Desman. That can't be stop overreacting. Since Adrian and Lisa passed away all those years ago, the two Spirit wolves , Davina and Drake, have never chosen anyone else ever since because they have never found anyone worthy. So don't worry... Desman:(He regained back his confidence) Thank you Aiden. That's why I made you my Beta. Aiden: And it has always been my honour and pleasure to be your Beta, sir. {Some people came in and told Aiden the source of the howl was from one of the pack members' room and his name was Nate.) Desman: Ok then, lets go to his room. (Desman was escorted to Nate's room. They knocked on the door.) Nate: Who is there? Desman: It's your Alpha! Jackson:(Whispers) I think they heard the howl and traced it here. Nate: This can't be happeninggggg.... Jackson: Transform back into a human. Nate:(Struggling to transform back ) I can't! Jackson: What do you mean you can't? Nate: What do you think I mean? (His eyes glowed as his anger and worry increased) Jackson: Ok then calm down. Just hide yourself and let me do the talking, ok? Nate:Ok. (Ran and hid himself under a pile of clothes beside his bed.) Desman:(Banging the door) Hey! Open this door! Jackson:Ok, comingggg... (Went and opened the door and let in Desman and other men) Desman: Ah, Jackson where is Nate? Nate:(He was able to transform back into a human.) I am here sir! (Came out of the pile of clothes.) Desman:Why were you in a pile of clothes? (Was confused) Nate:Uhmmm..... I wassssss..... Jackson: He was hiding! Desman:( Suspecting Nate) Why? Jackson: He was afraid of the howl we heard. He got soooo scared that he hid himself, but when he heard that our brave and strong Alpha has come, he has felt safe, that's why he has come out when you came into the room. Wow, thank you, I've been trying to get him to stop hiding but he was too scared. Nate:(Looked at Jackson with confusion and a little anger) Yeahhhh..... I was so scared, but when I saw you, I knew it was safe to come out. Desman:(Smiled and chuckled) I guess you are right. You have nothing to fear when I'm here. Nate:By the way, why did you howl? Did you see the wolves from the other pack trying to attack? Desman: No, I howled just to practice and see if I still got it. Aiden:(Said under his breathe) Wait, but Desman did not howl. Jackson:Woah, well you still got it. Nate:(Smiled) Yeah, that's true. Desman: Ok then, I'll be on my way, good day. Jackson:Same. Nate: Bye and good day to you too... (Desman and his escort left the room and Jackson closed the door.) Nate: Seriously! That was the only reason, you could think of. That I was scared? Jackson:Well it worked, didn't it? Nate: Yeah... thanks. Jackson:So what next? Nate: Well I'm going to find peace. Jackson: How? Nate: I'm going to the nearby human town to relax. Jackson:(Shocked) What! Are you out of your mind? Nate:Nope, but I will be when I continue staying here. Jackson: Have you forgotten what you are? You are a werewolf! And further more, the next Alpha of this pack! (He knelt down with one knee and bowed.) Nate: Would you stop overreacting and stand up. And I'm not the next Alpha. Now then, I'm going, but only for a few hours. Can you please cover for me when someone looks for me. Jackson: Wait, but... Nate:(Cut him short) Thank you very much. I knew I could count on you. ( He took his bag pack and went out through the window and into the woods.) Jackson:Arghhhh..... {At Desman's office} Aiden: Sir, I'm not questioning your action but why did you lie to Nate and Jackson, that you and the one who howled? Desman: Because I wanted them to know that I am the strongest one and the one they can rely on. Aiden: (Smiles and nods) Nice thinking sir. Desman: So how is taking the territory of Crescent moon pack unfolding? Aiden: It's just a matter of time before they give up their territory. Then this pack will be the strongest in the land. Desman: That's music to my ears. ( Desman and Aiden laughed evilly.)
