In the cold night of Canada, Amanda is looking out of the window with a glass of hot coffee in her hand. She is thinking of what to wear to the club. She had to sing a song that must satisfy the owner of the Rose club. She needs the job badly or else she will have to return to Finland, and continue to help her mum to sell bread in the bakery which she hates so much. She finally decided on what to wear. She wore a short red gown with an open back, which showed her lovely figure, she put on light makeup and styled her hair. Amanda looked in the mirror. She was satisfied with her simple appearance. Then she put on her gold heels that her father got for her on Christmas. She picked up a lip-gloss and applied it to her lips to bring out the brightness of her face. She stared in the mirror." Don't mess this up Amanda, you are in the land of opportunity." she put on her beige coat to cover herself from the cold, then she headed out to the club. She keeps thinking about the job. Can I do this? I have been rejected at many clubs. Will I get this job? Lord, please, just give me this job. I'm tired of going to interviews and auditions and, in the end, am always rejected. Dora sat on a chair looking at the club stage with a cigarette in her hand. She goes by the name the queen of clubs, and she is well known and feared by many. She always tells herself that she must be a star. She saved up money and left home because everyone always tells her that Canada is a land of opportunity, so she has decided not to miss that opportunity. She changed her clothes, she got on the stage and sang. Ethan was in the club that night. A fight broke out in the club that night between Ethan and a guy named Edward over an issue, but no one knew what the matter was. While everyone was running and screaming after hearing a gunshot, Amanda witnessed the whole incident as Ethan shot Edward in his head twice. While blood splashed on her face, Amanda screamed.
