Bella POV
The touch is very light but enough to send shivers down my spine. I didn’t know my wolf was so hungry for Alex until his lips touched mine. I fight her violently. It's borderline painful but I won't let her take over and cloud my mind or make me forget how angry I am. Alex senses my internal fight because I feel, rather than see, the small smile that appears on his lips, still against mine.
That makes me step back instantly.
