"Do you have to do that?" I asked her to sit up and give her a deadly glare. She laughed, looking at me as she threw my training jersey in my face. "If you keep sleeping like a dead man, then I will continue," She said, taking the bottles and plates to the kitchen. I looked at the training clothes and sighed. The training is always stressful. They kept on training us for the threat ahead, and I believe that they can't get to us because we are saved, we are at least 25km away from them, which is enough for us to play a trick or run which can't ever happen.   Cherry came out all dressed up, she saw me still in the same position, not even up, not to talk about dressing up,  "Will you carry your fat ass and get up?" She said, pulling me up as I stood groaning internally. I dressed up fast and went out to meet Cherry and the rest. They were also prepared for the training. Freaks, no matter what, if the rumor were true, we would be crushed in seconds. "So what do you call this time?" Jasper asked, sitting on the grass opposite me. Have I told you that Jasper is head over heel for me? It's true that wolves always go for their mates, but sometimes, most wolves don't get a mate, so they choose a mate. That's what Jasper and Henry have been doing. Chad once tried but later found out that Cherry was his mate. I hate her, I just feel like digging claws into her fragile throat.  They looked at me waiting for me to pound on her, but I had to prove them wrong that not all is fighting. I sat and enjoyed the air until the chief alpha came, he stood above us as he roared aloud, and everyone stood straight looking at me. I was the last to stand up, even with the help of Cherry. The old man walked to and fro looking at us all as he began his speech. " A long time ago, this little town in Florida was so peaceful, the wolves were in unity until a Freywhite went ahead to look for power, he got what he wanted, as he began to rain terror, showcasing how strong he was and powerful he is. Anyone who doesn't bow and join him dies, so we the alpha of the other tribe, come together to fight him. The majority of our packs died but he was defeated by the help of the moon goddess. Now that freywhite are back in action, taking captives and destroying weak tribes, we have to come together and fight, or else, we will be killed," he said, as everyone approved of his saying, but all I did was yawn. "We've heard this tale my whole life and you said they were coming, but still they haven't come at all, I'm tired and I will love to use the room." I stood cleaning my ass and headed towards my room. " Your father was part of them. We said we defeated him. I didn't say we killed him," he said as I stopped in my tracks. I have always said I will avenge my family's death, but as the time comes on, I see no reason why I will shed blood all because of my family.     I turned and gave them a look. My eyes were teary but still, I didn't give a damn, I looked at the chief alpha and sighed aloud. "Still not interested", I walked in crying as I jumped on the bed. I could hear them arguing, including that motherfucking b***h. "Am not saving her ass next time she gets into trouble" Bella said with anger, sure visible in her voice. Who cares anyway? "It's not like you've been saving her b***h," Cherry said. I knew Bella would stand up to tear Cherry up because I could hear chaos and mixed words. "Enough!! We won't leave any of our kind behind. I understand how she feels, she will come around." He said as he dismissed everyone. Cherry came in angrily as she walked towards the bathroom. After a few minutes, she walked out dripping wet. I was supposed to be sleeping but I couldn't when I could feel her frustration from a mile away. "I know you're not sleeping, just tell me why you keep acting like a weakling" Cherry barked at me. I sat straight and sighed aloud. "I just don't like violence, why is it that violence is the only way?" I gave her the same look she gave me, she was like boiling, if not because we were close pals, she would have slashed my throat out. "You don't tell me that we are what we are, that's our nature, we are apex predators, and when the death packs come, we have to be able and ready. I don't wanna lose you like I lost my family," She said with tears falling from her eyes. I rushed and hugged her as she crude on my shoulder. "Don't worry, I am a very fast runner" I said as she hit my shoulder. . " You're crazy!" She walked away, heading towards the kitchen. *************************** "No, he was the strongest alpha wolf in history," Henry said, standing in the process. He looked at me as I gazed away, looking elsewhere. I just don't understand why he always tries to impress me. "Alpha Scott is the only true alpha without killing anyone, so technically, he is the strongest wolf" Jasper said while still eating the barbeque he made. Bella gave him a sexy gaze and laughed. "He can't defeat hope Mickelson, she's a strong alpha also," She said, biting her lips as Jasper scoffed, turning to face me. I looked away, staring at the moon. There will be a full moon tomorrow. B Ohh we are at our normal routine, sitting around the fire, staring at the moon, eating barbeque and wood wine, gisting, and talking about stuff. "She will be because she's a freaking tribid, i***t" Cherry said, cuddling Chad's arms. Bella would have replied, but because of Chad, she kept quiet and everyone began to stare at the moon. Finally, some quiet, I just wanted them to shut up but they kept on ranting about previous alphas.  "Tomorrow is a school day, so what are we planning to do," Jasper asked. We all turned to him. I totally forgot, tomorrow is a school day. "Sure, we meet in the normal routine. Then we will pack all our bags from assembly till lunch," Chad said. The rest laugh, including Bella. They know I will be the last, because I see no reason to run like a freak and still end up in school early. "You know I always lose that game," I said angrily as they laughed. " That's the point of doing it," Chad said. Then I sighed, looking at the moon as I rested my head in Jasper's lap. I could see how stiff Jasper was, Henry looked like he was gonna explode, including Bella. who had bad eyes struggling over my face. I literally don't give a f**k. TBC
