XVII - Indiscretions The semester ended on a high note for the couple as far as school was concerned. Lori maintained her perfect grade point average and felt confident she had aced her final exams. Her swim times continued to edge closer to Olympic competitiveness and she had not lost a race all season. Every meet had brought her just a little more attention, but Lori felt she handled it better this year. With the assistance of a tutor, Jason’s grade point average resided just below Lori’s this semester. If he were willing to take five years instead of four to complete college instead, he probably could have improved a couple of his grades. However, starting college football as a true freshman with intentions of turning pro meant perfect grades were not as important as a top round draft
