📖 THE SILENT BRIDE Episode 4: Midnight Screams By Mira Bless 👑 > "When your reflection starts whispering… you're no longer alone." --- 🌙 Scene 1: 2:59 A.M. The mansion was silent. Too silent. Only the wind tapped gently on the stained glass windows. Amara woke up… gasping. A sound had pulled her from sleep. Not a dream. Not her imagination. A child’s voice. > “Mama…” She sat up, her eyes scanning the room. Jason was gone. --- 🚪 Scene 2: The Little Girl in the Hallway Amara stepped into the hallway. No lights. Just shadows. Then she saw it. A small figure… barefoot… in a white nightgown… standing at the end of the corridor. A little girl. Her head was lowered. Hair covering her face. Amara whispered, “Hello?” No answer. She took a step forward… the girl turned and ran. Not into a room. Into the wall. Then vanished. Amara froze. Did she imagine it? Then—on the wall—she noticed faint crayon markings. Like a child had once drawn there. She leaned closer. One of the drawings showed a man with blood on his hands… and beside him, a bride screaming inside a cage. --- 📘 Scene 3: The Forgotten Journal The next morning, Jason acted like nothing happened. He hummed in the kitchen, cooking her breakfast. “Sleep okay?” he asked. She forced a nod. While he stepped out to take a call, she ran back to the attic. She needed to find more. Hidden beneath old books, she discovered a smaller journal. Blue cover. Torn pages. It looked like it belonged to a child. She flipped it open. > “My name is Elsie. I don’t know where Mama went.” “The man said she went to sleep.” “But I still hear her crying downstairs.” “Sometimes, he brings me tea. But it tastes funny.” “I don’t want to forget Mama.” Amara gasped. > There was a child in the house. And maybe… she still was. --- 🕵️‍♀️ Scene 4: Detective Rena’s Move Detective Rena stood outside the mansion in an unmarked car. Her partner, Detective Mark, frowned. “Still no warrant?” “No,” she replied. “But something is off. Look at this.” She handed him the Blake twins' photo. "Amara Blake. Dead. Maya Blake. Missing. But Jason Ward’s ‘wife’? Claims to be Amara…" They shared a look. “I’m going in soon. With or without permission,” Rena muttered. --- 💔 Scene 5: The Room Behind the Mirror That night, Jason kissed Amara’s forehead. “I’ll be working late in the study. Get some rest, okay?” She smiled weakly. “Okay.” As soon as he left, she returned to the hallway. This time, she carried a flashlight and the blue journal. The child’s voice whispered again: > “This way…” She followed it to the end of the corridor. There was a large antique mirror. But this time… there was something odd about the reflection. It didn’t match. The reflection showed a door behind her — one that didn’t exist in real life. Amara turned around. Nothing. She turned back to the mirror… > Her reflection smiled at her. But she wasn’t smiling. She screamed. And the mirror cracked. Suddenly, the wall beside it clicked — and a hidden panel opened. A secret passage. --- 🕯️ FINAL SCENE: The Scream in the Dark Amara stepped into the narrow passage. Dust everywhere. Cold. Down the staircase. Into a small hidden room. There — in the corner — sat a dusty rocking chair. And beside it… A music box. It opened by itself. 🎵 "Hush little baby, don’t say a word..." 🎵 And on the wall — scratched in childlike handwriting: > “He said she’s not my real Mama. But I remember her smell. I want her back.” Amara began to cry. Suddenly— > A loud scream echoed through the walls. A woman’s scream. From under the floor. Then— The secret door slammed shut behind her. And she was trapped. --- 🩸 End of Episode 4 Next: Episode 5 – “Buried Truths” By Mira Bless 👑
