Chapter 1: Come Back
Today is the day Anna and Alex return to their American homeland after more than four years apart.
As soon as they got off the plane, the two split up. Alex wanted to see his parents first, so he got in the car and ran home to meet his parents. And Anna is leisurely, not in a hurry, she has to go for a walk to get some fresh air and prepare a beautiful soul to come home to talk to her parents soon.
She crossed street after street, but as soon as she returned to her country, she met some unlucky madman who ran a red light swaggeringly, almost taking her soul out of her body.
Almost hit her, but reflexively she fell forward.
"Oh, my hand, hu hu." When she fell on the road, her hand was rubbing quite hard on the road, causing it to bleed.
"Hey girl, are you okay?" The person in the car opened the door and stepped out, walking arrogantly, even in a hurry, not intending to ask anymore. The voice was very unpleasant.
The eyes could only see the legs of the person in front, but Anna still boldly cursed non-stop: "What kind of crazy guy is so mad, don't you study law? Do you have a driver's license? Damn it."
"I'm sorry, but if you can still curse like that, it's fine, isn't it?" The voice now sounded more arrogant than before.
"You broke the traffic rules and still spoke loudly. Are you sure you've learned to drive? That mouth can be used to curse, but don't use that tone of voice to say when you're wrong." At this time, Anna raised her head to see the face of the person in front of her, one word "handsome", but this handsomeness could not save his true human nature, she had to engrave his face. the name of this god in the head, to go anywhere else dodge.
"I broke the law, I was wrong, but I haven't touched you, don't play tricks."
Oh my god, she really didn't want to embarrass herself, so she spoke ill of the car. A BMW that's worth the fuss about? Are you overestimating yourself?
"Mr. Ben Chilwell, driving a vehicle with the number ***** ran a red light, and had an unidentified collision. Please go to the ward to serve the investigation and pay the fine as prescribed." The traffic police arrived quickly. "We invite you to come to the ward to clarify the matter."
The two looked at each other with hateful eyes and followed the policeman to the ward.
Anna kept scolding in her stomach: "Which foot did I put on the plane before me? It must be the left foot. The left foot will encounter such bad luck. Life should be civilized now. Then, to think there are still people like this."
The police's conclusion was that a warning was fined for Ben Chilwell, and she could only treat her injuries and go home.
Before leaving, she also loudly said: "It is better for the brother to stay at home and sleep, what's the hurry, go out and threaten everyone."
Anna didn't have time to see Ben Chilwell's dark side at the time.
If you have to postpone, then stop, still have to run a red light, and also encounter a talkative aunt. Ben Chilwell silently blames himself for suddenly running through the red light to meet the other aunt. That's unlucky.
He was no longer interested in going to work, so he drove the car home and slept.
Anna was also not in the mood to go flying anymore. She got into a taxi and went straight home. Her family is waiting for her in the living room of the luxury mansion where she grew up.
So a conversation of the century took place. Anna returned home one night and moved out to her own house.
When she was born, she was born with a responsibility that no one else but her was responsible for shouldering. Her grandfather's career could not collapse in her hands.
Her parents don't want her to work outside, but Anna insists on moving. Because if she stayed at home with her parents, she certainly wouldn't be able to live in peace. It took Anna one night to convince her parents to let her live on her own. Her parents wanted her to manage the family's corporation, but she wanted to get up by her own ability, and since childhood, she had her own passion. It was difficult to harmonize with that director's chair of her father. So she decided to move out on her own.
Next morning.
Having just returned to the US, her parents did not have any idea about giving her a car to travel to. Having chosen freely and then returning to ask her parents for a car is a bit weird. So, Anna decided to walk to work. But God still doesn't love her, she's almost late for puberty, holding a cup of coffee and running for company. I don't know what the hell God sent to get in her way.
The whole cup of coffee flew up to the BMW in front of her, her hand was still on the car. Anna frantically took out a tissue from her pocket and shook the coffee stain on the car. But God bless, you can't dodge. A white scratch about seven inches is lying on the car. At this point, she's hot, this damn coffee has pulled away a stain of this car's paint.
So Anna had to wait for the owner of the car to come to apologize and ask for compensation from the car owner.
"My number doesn't seem to match New York's land or what? Why come here without having a moment of peace? Hu Hu." Anna cried to herself.
There are five more minutes until work time, standing like that waiting to know when the car owner will appear.
“If I stand here waiting any longer, I will be late. What if the owner of this car doesn't come back until noon, what should I do?" Anna said.
Anna had to leave a note for the owner of the car, and then ran to the company. Just in time, fortunately, being labeled an intern on the first day of work, he was late.
Anna applied for the position of designer, majoring in graphic design, creative department of CL Group, New York's leading technology corporation. The working environment is very good.
"Are you a new employee?" A beautiful woman came to talk to her. In that life, she finally had a conversation with a beautiful woman.
"Yes." Anna has the strength of a smile, so she always smiles to create sympathy.
"Over there is a desk and equipment the company has prepared for her. The first thing when trying it out is to complete the challenge of creating the company's magazine cover." Shopia pointed behind Anna's back. This voice is very attractive, still tough and decisive. Anna has a very good impression of her already.
"What's the challenge?" If people make a good impression on me, I have to make a good impression in return. So she is very friendly.
"You can go to the Director's office to get it. What can I call you? I'm Shopia."
"Yes, Anna, call it Anna Hathaway or Anna."
"Then Anna, you had better finish the challenge quickly."
After listening, Anna nodded twice and quickly ran to the director's room, ran out of the creative room for a while before she realized where the director's room was.
She was about to go and ask her colleagues around when she saw that everyone was after work, so she didn't want to interrupt. So she decided to find her own way, walking around for a while, then realized that someone seemed to be moving very freely. Anna immediately ran over and asked:
"Dude, can I bother you for a bit?"
"What is wrong?" The person in front seemed willing to help her.
"Can you tell me where the director's office is?"
"What do you want to go to the director's office for?"
"To give the new employee a challenge.'"
"Then follow me."
It seemed that this person was also planning to go to the director's room. When she looked at the nameplate, she realized that the picture asked the right person. That's the assistant manager, Mason.
Mason opened the door to the room the director entered.
"Where did you go for so long? Painting a brochure is like going to Canada to print?" A low voice rang out.
What a ridiculous director.
But Anna suddenly realized that the bad guy who ran the red light yesterday was sitting in the director's chair. It's really dead, poking people who shouldn't be poked.
"Director Ben, a new employee has come to you for a mission," Mason said.
The person in front now raised his head, and of course recognized Anna's face. His eyes darkened, giving her goosebumps.
