“I hope things go well from now on.” Violet patted my shoulder.
Just as I requested, Tristan agreed to delay the conversation and to return home first. Both of us disappeared without any notice. Our pack members are surely stressed out by now. This has happened way too frequently than it should be.
They’ve been doing their best to support us, though I’m certain that they feel awkward about me being their Luna at first. They didn’t deserve the chaos I brought in. It’s always been me… I’m the reason why all of this is happening, but I can’t even disappear as I please and hope.
Tristan somehow always finds me… like I always find him with Lorelei. It’s almost poetic in a very, very awful way.
I forced a smile and nodded, “I hope so too. I hope we’d meet someday again, too.”
