Chapter 6“I just don’t understand why you need to meet with her tonight, too,” Nash said, sitting on the edge of Geoffrey’s bed. Nash had been in his room before, several times. Had even slept there once or twice, but now it was different. Now he was dominating the space, and making Geoffrey uncomfortable. More so. “Because she asked me to,” Geoffrey said, for probably the tenth time. “I don’t understand why you needed to follow me home.” “Because I wanted to talk to you. I thought we were going to…talk.” Geoffrey selected a blue tie from his closet and draped it over his neck. “We will talk, Nash. But right now isn’t a good time.” In honesty, he didn’t think any time would be a good time. If he could continue to avoid the situation, he’d be happy. But he’d seen this look in Nash’s eye
