Cal POV
I woke up the next morning spooning against Mackenzi in my bed. I am happy that our wolves made it home last night, but from the looks of my room, it seems they christen every place in this more.
‘Demon! Seriously man.’ I shook my head.
‘Storm is a wild vixen, what can I say.’ He chuckled.
‘Next time can you make sure to close the balcony door! You guys tracked mud through the room.’
‘Yes Dad-‘ Demon groan.
‘Don’t even, the omegas will complain about the room.’ I moaned.
Kenzi started to groan and stretch next to me. She started to cuddle next to me. “Hi Honey,” I said running my hand down her side.
“My body is so worn out and sore, but Storm is purring with satisfaction in my head.” She said as she slowly opened her eyes.
“Well looking at the state of this room, I can see why she is so excited.” I chuckled.
She fully snapped her eyes open and adjusted to the room around her. “OH, MY GODDESS!! What happened to the room?” She squealed.
“Well, Demon said Storm is a bit of a while one. He is quite satisfied.”
“The omegas are going to kill us!” She groaned. “I am not going to be able to make eye contact with them.” She fell back on the bed.
“You will be fine. If just shows that their alphas have a healthy s*x life.” I kissed her head. “Let's get up and go down to breakfast. My father mentioned that they would like to speak with us regarding the merger.”
We got up and jumped in the shower and got ready for breakfast. Although we both wanted to enjoy each other in the shower, neither of us had the energy to do anything. So we showered and dressed and headed out to breakfast.
As we walked down from the fifth floor of the packhouse, I guided her to the dining hall. When we entered everyone stopped and looked at us. “Please continue eating,” I said as we headed to the main table where the alpha, beta, gamma, and their families sit. “Good morning everyone.”
“Good Morning son. I see Demon and his mate made it back last night.” My dad raised his eyebrow at me. “They made quite a bit of commotion last night. I thought the house was going to collapse.” Everyone at the table snickered as Kenzi put her face into my arm.
“Yes, they did make it back from a great night.” I chuckled as Kenzi slapped my chest. “What?!? I am just saying they made it home.” I laugh.
As we head over to our seats, I see Emilio and Jaxon seem to have made up as they are sitting together holding hands. Their parents seem to be chatting well, so I’m happy to see that their parents have approved.
Something new that shock me was my gamma Gio, who has Kenzi Gamma, Stella on his lap. “Seems that our gammas have found their mates,” I say while pointing in their direction.
“Seems so,” Kenzi replies.
We take our seats, and the omegas serve us each a plate filled with bacon, eggs, sausage, and potatoes. I immediately dug in as the smell was mouthwatering. Demon and I had really worked up an appetite. I looked over a Kenzi and she was also digging in. She is holding her own in eating her food as well.
I started on my second plate while Kenzi seemed to stop and one. I tried to be quick as I knew we had to meet our fathers in my office. I scarfed down the last of my food and we washed it down with a glass of milk.
“You really like to eat.” She looks at me and laughs.
“I am a growing wolve you know.” I kiss her on the lips. “Let's head to the office.” I grab her hand and we proceed to walk down the hallway to the office.
On the first floor of the packhouse are the kitchen, dining hall, common room, the game room, and the alpha’s office. I really like u shape layout that wraps around the stairs. We have other pack members living on the upper floors.
As we enter my office, or should I say our office, we are greeted by both of our fathers. They have prepared the plans for the new packhouse. Mackenzi and I decided to allow them the freedom to plan the packhouse as we would not be living there. We opted to build our own house about half a mile away from the packhouse. The only requirement that Kenzi had was that the pup's childcare center be housed in the packhouse, She felt that if we were ever attacked by rogues, it would be safer to have them close by. I agreed with her.
Today was the day we would review the final plans and decide on the build location.
“Hi Dad, Mr. Black.” She greeted our fathers as she entered the office. “I am excited to see the final draft of the plans.”
“Tesoro, there is no need to call me Mr. Black now, you are family. Call me Luciano.” My dad smiles at her.
“Thank you, Mr. Bla—I mean Luciano.” She blushes. She looks so sweet and innocent.
“So do you have the plans to present?” I ask.
“Yes we do and we think they came out quite impressive.” His dad unrolls the plans and lays them on the table for us all to see. “So the ground floor will be a mix of both of our packhouses. It will be a total of six floors. The top floor will still be reserved for the Alpha and beta family, but if you decide not to use it we can still use it for something else. Each side of the hall will have four bedrooms and four bathrooms. There will be two sets of stairs that will run from the first floor on each side for a back entrance and a rear entrance.”
“That sounds really cool. Seem that it will have more than enough space on that floor.” I piped up. “What about the other floors. The other floors will be reserved for the warriors and families. They will have anywhere from 10-15 rooms per floor on floors three through five. Some of these rooms are connected to allow for families to keep their pups close by.” His father continues.
“I am happy there are places for families in the packhouse. I hate that ours currently only house mateless pack members.” Kenzi drops into the conversation as she continues to look over the floors. “What is this floor?”
I saw the excitement in our fathers’ eyes. “We good that you asked. As we are now moving to become the second-largest pack behind the Alpha King’s pack, it means that we will be working more and entertaining more; by this I mean conferences.” My dad added when he noticed my raised brow.
“So this floor will house your main offices as well as a conference room and dining hall for visitors.” Maximus chimed in. “This gives you the ability to keep your eyes on them. Can never trust all alphas.” He jokes. “Finally the first floor will have a state of the art kitchen with four- eight range stoves, five ovens, 6 fridges, 3 freezers, and six dishwashers.”
“WOW! That sounds like it will make the omegas very happy.” Kenzi smiles. “What else?”
“We also took your suggestion and the daycare for the pups will on the first floor in the west wing. It will be keycard access only and have connecting doors to outside, where there will be a play place. It will also have a panic room in times of attack.”
“That’s perfect! Exactly what I wanted.” She grinned.
“Yes, and we will put the common room and game room in the back on the first floor.” He finished. “What do you guys think?”
“I think it sounds great. Many things I didn’t think about but I am happy you guys did.” I look over at my father and then at Maximus. “Now we must find the where to build it.”
“I suggest we build it between your pack and mine. Then we can turn our existing packhouses into additional living for the pack.” Kenzi suggests.
“I think that’s a great idea.”
“Good. So what are we looking at as far as timeline?”
“If we can get everyone mobilized, it can be done with six months.”
“Excellent. Let’s make it happen! Of course, money is not an issue so make sure they put the best into it.” I address the table.
“Terrific son, we will get right on it.” My dad says as they roll up the plans. “We will start making phone calls today.”
