Writers Logarithm

Cruising along the edge of town.. a familiar sensation of anticipation crept over me as I sensed a shift in the air, signaling the presence of a new territory I had explored before.. My insatiable curiosity always led me to every corner of everything.. and damn why do my mind always compare this to me exploring every inches of a womans body? haha I always felt the shifts when they occurred.. However, this time.. my trip here felt different.. the sensation of an occuring shift felt stronger than before.. With only a few minutes remaining before my shift began.. I made a spontaneous decision to turn my car around at the entrance of this particular part of town.. As I gazed out the window at the surrounding mountains and fields, my eyes were drawn to a Familiar(It stands out!),.. roaming around at the gates.. Our gazes met, and the creature seemed initially startled by my presence before realizing that I meant no harm.. This encounter left me with a lingering sense of mystery and intrigue as I continued on my way.. I definitely need to know more about this place.. It is on the edges.. Stone totems... And is well guarded... Meh Ninja senses startled!
