' I was once a Princess...' I LIE awake on the ground of grasses.I stare at the sky.Nothing special really.The skies are gloomy and close to raining.They are probably sad and in dismal.Like me. That night,when I heared the scream I should've wake up.I should've run to my mother and hug her.If only I knew that it would be our last moment together,I should've insisted to continue the story.I am thinking that if she didn't leave my room,my father wouldn't have the chance to sly her. She was very soft spoken.She always moves gracefully like a queen.She maintain elegance and aptitude to be kind to everyone.I love her so much.She was the only memory I have. Meanwhile,I hate my father.I loathe him.For killing my mom.For being a foolish father to me.For being cruel. Years have passed and I am on my own now.I got no friends.My only friend left me after that night.He's like my brother too.But,I wonder what happened with him. I'm not a kid anymore.I can fight for myself.But I still felt jailed most of the time.This garden is my only safe haven. A drop of rain trickle on my face.I didn't notice how long I am staring at the gloomy sky.I slowly got up and shake off the dirt of my white dress using my hands. Mas lalong lumalakas ang ulan kaya napagpasyahan kong umuwi na sa amin.My house is not far from here.Kaunting takbo lang ay mararating na agad ang lugar na ito.But still,no one really seems to like this place since it's not really amazing.It's dull and just the grass no flowers and butterflies.A shabby tree stood their alone. I run quickly when the raindrops trickle constantly.Siguro ay nasa bahay na ang Daddy.Magagalit iyon kapag nalaman niyang umalis ako ng bahay.Mas binilisan ko ang takbo hanggang sa narating ko ang mataas na gate ng bahay.I slid inside and hurried to the living room.Which I regretted eventually. I stood their like a mannequin unable to move.He is with his woman again.Everytime he bring his woman here I go mad thinking about my mom.Maybe when Mom is still alive ,I bet he's having affair with another woman.That's how stupid he is. "Oh, you're home."my father said darkly while his eyes looks sleepy.Caressing the woman's shoulder who's smiling sluttishly.I wonder where did he pick this woman. I turn my back and hurried to my room.I click the lock and take a shower quickly.I don't know if I'll be thankful to that woman because he kept my father busy. Araw-araw ay ganoon ang eksena sa bahay.Hindi ko man araw-araw nakikita ay alam ko kapag may dinadala siyang babae.Simula ng namatay si Mommy ay lagi siyang nagdadala ng babae.Kadalasan ay mga mas bata sakanya. I stayed in my room for the next days.Avoiding my Dad.I don't really want to see his face. On monday,I hurried downstairs to eat my breakfast.I eat quickly and pick-up my bag.Ang mga kasambahay ay hindi na nagsalita.Sa ilang taon nila rito ay alam na nila ang mga ganap sa bahay na ito.Hindi ko alam kung bakit nagtagal sila dito. Sumakay ako ng jeep papuntang eskwelahan.Hindi masyadong malayo pero malilate ka kung maglalakad.We have cars but my father doesn't want me riding one.He would prefer to give it to his woman than me.We all have the richness but I live like a poor and a princess who go broke. I was once a princess.When my mother is still alive.I live like one.The elegant dresses.The porcelain I always wear.Now,I look like a maid with all the old dresses and old things I use for everyday. But this ordinary day,I didn't know it would bring such luck...
