CHAPTER TWO
BethAfter a month spent on a spaceship, it felt good to have solid ground beneath my feet once again. After the first few days, I’d no longer noticed the slight vibrations, but now that we stood on a planet – a freaking alien planet! – I realised just how much I’d got used to the movement. My legs tingled, although that may have been due to the different gravity. Or the atmosphere.
Everything here was new. And that was exactly what I wanted.
