"Now we will see how the students battle against the other teams."
"Of course, one team will all have the ace."
They all nod as a sign of agreement
"I want to see how the other teams will adapt to that situation and come out victorious."
"Well, my top healer isn't going to team up with the other top ranked students”.
"Oh Sarah, she has friends at my class maybe they are the one's she picked”.
"But I must warn the others about her power. I gave her a water fragment."
"That's not fair is you’re going to ask me" Draxx said
"Remember what Chris said that anything is applicable at war" Sora said.
"Just calm down and let us see what the outcome will be. They still have a long time to practice and come up a way to win" Dr Edwin said
"Let's see how the top students face against an Elemental user" I am tingling with excitement already.
"Back to business shall we"
"My event will be a capture the flag. First team to grab hold of the enemy flag or immobilized all enemies wins."
"Looks like your assassins will be quite handy in this situation" Sora said as she elbowed Draxx
"No, I think the best option here is a power healer and tank" said Draxx
"Agreed, as long as a healer sustains his or her allies, they surely win the match" I said.
"And if you have a powerful tank to protect the healer the battle is already decided" Draxx said.
"Ahhh the assassin will keep the enemy assassin in check, the knight will be the frontline and the marksman will act as a support" a medic said.
"Correct" Draxx and I spoke
"So, while they battle the one with the better healer will last long making them overpower the other group" Sora finally got it.
"But I still believe on how the teams will perform."
"Remember that anything can happen during war”.
"Even epic comebacks" Sora said.
"Let's just see for ourselves" I said.
The meeting is all over and we head back to our designated areas.
I careful observed Jane as she uses a shotgun. She is having a tough time to control the recoil. I take that in mind.
Then I observed Eve and Roxxy and looks like they are having a hard time computing for the trajectory
I first assisted Jane and the others.
"Okay class listen first."
"This is how you fire a shotgun. You have two options."
"First is you could fire a scattered shell but poor in range."
Then I demonstrated
"Or second you could fire a focused shell but have good range."
"It depends on you on how you are going to use it."
After that I went to help Eve and Roxxy's group
"Okay listen up."
"The fastest way to learn how to use sniper is using no scope at all”?
"You must rely on your instincts."
"Does anyone one of you remember what I said about aiming?"
"Anyone?"
A moment of awkward silence. I gave a good long sigh and spoke.
"Better aim with your hand than your eyes it is more accurate."
"Know try firing those targets once more”.
The snipers tried shooting down those targets once more. I observed them once more and it seems they are slowly improving.
"Okay everyone, tomorrow you all will have to use different sets of guns. A rifle and a submachine g*n"
"If anyone of you knows how to use one properly kindly approach me later and let's have chat"
"Now practice hard."
Morning classes just ended and the students and us are all having our lunch.
"Hey, have you heard that the top Strategist gathered all the top students in the other class?"
"If that's true how are we going to beat him"
"Tell me about it, I still haven't completed my team yet”.
"Me neither"
They both sighed.
I cannot help listening those two strategists said.
"Looks like our assumptions are right. A group of the elite will surely dominate your event Chris" Draxx said
"Let's not get too complacent shall we the games hasn't even started yet" I said with a grin in my face.
"I just can't wait to see how these games will end" Sora seems excited.
Lunch break is over, and the afternoon classes started.
I went to check on Draxx and his assassins.
"Hey Draxx, how about a sparring practice?" I asked.
"You mean now?" Draxx seemed surprised.
"Yes, I want your students to battle us all at once”.
"You see the better your opponent the more experience you gain while battling."
"But still, it solely depends on how they will act."
"Indeed, shall we proceed."
Draxx called out all his assassins.
"Okay Headmaster wants all of you to battle us."
"You can use anything that you think might come handy."
"I want you to act as them a restraint us both before all of you dropped."
"Am I understood"
"Yes Headmaster!" They answered.
Draxx and I covered each other’s backs and gave the signal to start. As soon as we gave the signal the assassins immediately launch their attacks.
"Looks like your assassins are still too slow if you asked me?" I said to Draxx
"Well, they are still learning apparently" Draxx said.
"Shall we fight back Chris?"
"Nah! If we landed a single hit on them, they might drop immediately to the ground."
"Let them get exhausted”.
Then a smoke bomb exploded right in front of us. The area is then covered with smoke.
The assassins continued striking.
"They thought that a simple trick like this will slow us down" I said to myself.
"Hey, you can all do better than that"
"Are you really assassins or not? You're too soft" I mocked them.
"Where's the daily training you are doing. At that rate even you can't kill a stupid demon" Draxx teased
The assassins are getting furious while several started to lose their confidence. Then the top assassin just patted their backs and they all felt better
"Looks like a natural born leader to me. Who is he by the way?" I asked.
"That's Peter he came from a family of professional hired assassins. Unfortunately, his parents are killed during an entrapment operation."
"That kid has potential" I said to myself.
The smoke seems to be clearing up then a barrage of throwing weapons is heading our way. We evaded it.
