"You are there!" I shouted.
It turned to have a look. I was surprised, it was the same lady that invaded the Metro and snatched the Elemental Fragments. I charge straight at her, but she summons three Class A. I fall back and tried stopping the demons.
The lady is trying to nullify the seal of a huge safe. She manages to break it and immediately enter. I tried to stop her, but the demons did not let me through. Afterwards an explosion came inside the safe, the room was immediately set on fire.
I exited the room by the time I checked outside she already vanished. The city is totally devastated. My Beasts and I just finished off the remaining demons and searched for survivors.
Aaron finally arrived; he looks completely powerless. I tried cheering him up. After a while he gets back to his senses. I pulled him to the room that the lady breached.
Aaron runs towards the old man.
"Elder I am sorry" Aaron started to cry.
I hold his shoulder and pet his back as I comfort him.
"Aaron what was inside that safe" I said as I pointed it out.
"That's the safe of our special materials in crafting accessories containing precious stones."
"Special materials?"
"Maybe that's why I can't sense their fragments unless I hold it for myself" a thought in my mind.
"Tell me Aaron"
"What is this special material made of and what does it do?" I asked.
"To tell you frankly I don't know what it is made of only the elder knows what it is."
"That special material contains the precious stone's powers and not letting it out."
"That's why" I said in my mind.
Then the old man spoke
"You don't have much time."
"Go to the chamber and reveal its mystery”.
"Everything you need to know about this war is inside that very room."
"Now go" the old man then he passed away.
Aaron stood up and wipes his tears he grabs my hand then pulls me to the chamber's entrance. From there I walk towards its door then light with different colors shined from my bag. The chamber doors opened.
We entered the room then the torches all suddenly light up and a gust of wind clears the path. The walls have these murals, looks like a war between the angels and demons.
We went to have a closer look. As soon as I touched the paintings a writing in the wall started revealing.
"A great war between the angels and demons started" as I read the writings the paints started to move.
"A curse was casted to wipe out the entire mankind and only the Shard of Creation can stop it.
"The Shard of Creation is been broken down into fragments and only a man with Divine characteristics can put it all back together."
"The man together with his Pillars are destined to put an end to this war."
The writings and the stories that my family told me are similar. I got frustrated thinking of a way to get out of this mess. Then a light coming from the end of the room struck me. I do not know why but I walk towards it. At the end of the light, I saw this scenario.
A man with eight Elemental Shards is facing against a powerful dark spirit. Using those shards, he made one shard that finished off the Spirit ending the war.
I was in my knees and breathing heavily. I just saw a vision about the war. Aaron hurried and helped me stand up. As I stand up, I saw the mural of man triumphed over the Spirit.
The fire from the torches started to weaken and the writings started to conceal. We exited the room as soon as we stepped outside the door shut.
"That was pretty unusual" Aaron said.
I am still processing everything. Aaron assisted me on our way back to the academy.
"Am I the one destined to put an end to all of this?"
"But why! Surely God has a reason for this, but I don't know why."
"Am I ready for all of these?" Questions running in my mind.
I tried shaking of the thought and focused on the reality.
"Aaron"
"You should rest Chris you look totally worn out."
"Aaron how are you going to rebuild the city?"
"I think the mayor can handle it besides, I am not the one in charge."
"But what about the fragments"
"Don't worry"
"You are much more important than those stones" Aaron said to cheer me up.
I still have this feeling that the war is just getting started. That lady successfully stole the fragments from the Metro and Citadel. She also has these special materials to hide those fragments.
Then I remembered something. I saw a man using eight shards to form one whole shard. Come to think of it my family only said there are seven.
So that is another mystery to c***k for me. I dug in deep to my thoughts to recall all I had seen inside the chamber but the more I think of it my thoughts are getting scrambled.
"Don't push yourself too hard Chris”.
"Better relax first" Aaron said.
I laid my back and relaxed. Then Aaron woke me up and we are already at the academy. The Healers assisted me and brought me to the infirmary. They started treating me.
Sora and Draxx then entered the room.
"What happened to you?" Sora seems worried.
"From a distance we saw the city under attacked by demons"
"Chris burst straight in the battlefield ad tried stopping it" Aaron said.
"Why didn't you use telepathy to ask for back up?" Draxx asked.
"I tried but something is interfering the transmission" I answered.
But I did not call them at all. I do not want them to come because it was too dangerous for them to handle.
I grabbed Aaron's attention and gave him a sign to come near
"Don't tell anyone about what we saw in the chamber" I whispered to Aaron.
He then nods as a sign of agreement.
After the Healers patched me up, we all went outside. The students are all their waiting for me.
"Headmaster what happened."
"You got us all worried."
"Next time you will go I'll come with you."
"Us too"
"If you need our help don't think twice on asking"
"Yeah, we are always happy to help."
"We are all in these together you know."
"That's right Headmaster as a Strategist you should have known better."
"Don't be foolish enough to make the same mistake okay”.
"You see Headmaster whatever happens we will stay by your side."
My eyes started to water so I wiped it off.
