"Chris what are you up to the moment?" She curiously asked.
"Well, I am on a quest" I answered.
"And what is that?" She said as she moves closer.
"I need to complete my family's heirloom" I informed.
After some time, the food arrived.
"These much? You seriously out done yourself Sora" I was surprised of the feast.
"What are you talking about Chris this isn't just for you silly?"
"My parents will be joining us" Sora informed.
"Hey Sora, where did you get that necklace?" I curiously asked.
"Oh, this I saw the stone in the forest while I am just a kid" She informed.
"If I asked for it, are you willing to give it to me?" I hesitantly asked.
"Sorry Chris but no. This necklace means a lot to me. I hoped you understand" She said as she holds the stone.
Then my bag shakes once more
"Oh, looks like you two are having fun" a well-dressed man said.
"Sweetie kindly introduce us to your guest" an elegantly dressed lady said.
Sora stood up and walked besides them.
"Chris these are my parents. Mom Dad this is Chris the one I am telling you earlier" Sora said.
"Glad to meet you son I am Ricardo Powers, and this is my wife Eleanor" the well-dressed man said.
"I am Chris Sterling glad to meet you" I shook the man's hand and kissed the ladies.
I noticed the stone in Ricardo's ring it looks like a Fire Fragment.
"Looks like this family has two elemental fragments better stick around and find a way to get those fragments" I said in my head.
While enjoying our meal my bag started shaking again. I got alarmed then a group of men entered the restaurant.
I turned to have a look and I saw the group of assassins earlier. They walk towards us.
"Sir Ricardo someone stole the precious stone in the shrine and managed to get away" the assassin informed.
"What!" Ricardo suddenly stood up slamming the table.
"Command all men to hunt down that fiend and guard all precious stones. Let no one even the locals get out of this city until the culprit is caught" Ricardo furiously ordered.
"Sorry about that Chris but I must go now. We still have something important to attend too" Ricardo apologized.
Ricardo and Eleanor went on their way.
"What's up with them?" I asked Sora in a whispering manner.
"Well, someone stole the precious stone fortifying our city walls" She said.
"Is your father really the one in command?" I asked.
"Well, he is the Mayor after all" She proudly said.
"Tell me more about this precious stone thingy”.
"What are they actually?" I asked to pry answers.
"Uhh grandma told me a story about this. The precious stones are special stones with magical powers connected to the environment" She informed.
"I see, so what do you do with the power?" I asked.
"Let us see, well the precious stone in the shrine generates rocks. Some say those rocks are the hardest" She informed.
While chatting we heard a strong explosion coming from outside. We quickly went to have a look.
"No, the powerplant" Sora seems worried and she immediately run towards where the explosion came from
"Wait Sora" I said as I chase after her.
Then assassins and an asteroid come heading straight to the same location. I pulled out my g*n.
We are approaching the power plant them a hoard of Class B demons intercepted us.
Sora jumped straight at them and her whole body was covered with water. I was surprised.
"What she can wield a Sacred Gear" I said in my mind.
I quickly shook off the thought and assisted her. I shoot the demons one by one.
I closed the gap and spoke.
"Hey Sora, you didn't tell me that you can wield a Sacred Gear”.
She just laughed and continued her way.
Us we finished of the demons Sora immediately went on her way, but another wave of Class B intercepted her.
"Sora look out" I shouted.
Then a group of assassins joined the fight
"Are you okay my lady?" An assassin said as he helps her stood up.
"Stay behind" Sora said as she charges towards the demons.
From a distance I assisted them. Firing one by one the Class B demons. Then an eerie roar was heard, it seems it is fast approaching us. I used my scope and looked. A Class A and it is heading straight for us.
"Sora a Class A is fast approaching" I quickly informed them.
"Huh?" Sora seems clueless.
"What am I thinking of course she doesn't know. I am the only one that knows my categories about demons" I said to myself.
Then the Class A finally arrived
Sora and her assassin seem to be petrified upon seeing a powerful demon. With the power of the Lightning Fragment, I quickly carried them to a safer place.
"Why didn't you run?" I raised my voice.
But they did not even open their mouths.
The Class A finally saw us, and it is heading our way. I tried shooting it, but it seems one bullet is not enough to takedown that powerful demon.
It is closing the gap and still I did not make a number on it. Then lightning struck upon the demon pinning it to the ground
The assassin that pointed his blade at me is finishing off the Class A single handedly. After he slain the demon, he went to our location.
"Scouts what happened back there? Where did your training went?" The assassin was furious about the performance of his fellow assassins.
"It is my fault Draxx I showed fear during war. I failed as a leader" Sora said as her tears dropped.
Draxx pitied Sora
"Hey, you, what are you doing here? Don't you know it isn't safe for civilians here?" Draxx seems threatening me.
"Well, I am not just an ordinary civilian I can help, see" I showed my g*n.
"Fine then come but we are not eligible to whatever might happen to you" Draxx said as if he does not trust me at all.
