“Now time for you” I said as I point my g*n at her

I summoned my gear that aid me in flying. I kept my distance and repeatedly shoot her

“Foolish mortal, I can keep this up for eternity” she mocked as she manages to block all my attacks

I was going nowhere as I continue firing at her

“Come on Chris think surely you can face her in close combat” I said as I begin to doubt myself

As I started to overthink she fired a charged beam at me and I barely dodged it. I saw the beam pass right through me and because of that I was partially blinded

“f**k!” I shouted as I rub my eyes

My vision is still hazy, and I can barely see anything. Then someone licked the back of my neck. I tried attacking whoever was it, but I did not strike a thing

“Ops nearly hit me there” a lady’s voice whispered at my ear

I tried following where the voice came from and strike again. She started teasing me repeatedly

“I wonder if you’re still a virgin coz you’re absolutely scrumptious” she said in a lewd voice

“Shut up!” I shouted in frustration

After several more minutes my eyesight started to revert. By the time, my sight was all cleared up she was gone. The battle is almost over but Lancelot’s men are wiped out entirely. I soared high to check the whole area luckily the damages are minimal

After several more minutes the battle subsided. I checked the area for damages and count the number of deaths. I unsummoned my divine beasts for them to rest. I roam around and check the dead bodies. Something is off as I check the remains

“These doesn’t look like bite marks or claw marks to me”

“It closely resembles a cut from a sharp object”

“Huh! don’t tell me Lancelot killed them all but why?” I said as I got awfully suspicious

I finally gave them all a proper burial, but I did not saw the remains of the mayor. Sometime is off surely with his wound he should be dead a couple of minutes back not unless.

“Oh no!” I shouted as I started to realize something

I summoned all my divine beast and ordered them to search for Lancelot and the mayor. We began to scatter to search the entire city for them. After several minutes Titan located their location. With lightning-fast speed, I quickly went to the area. As soon as I set foot, I sense demons close by. I remained vigilant as I walk towards the very room Lancelot and the mayor is hiding

“Oh no!” I said as I saw a hoard of demons guarding outside the room

I might have said it out loud, so the demons started chasing me

“Not now” I shouted

I was able to drag them outside

“Come on let us play” I said as I summoned my gun

I tried shooting them down, but they are too many. They were able to surround me, and I was trapped

“Okay?” I said as I formulate a plan

I have no choice but to face them all at once. I geared up and charge right into the hoard of demons. The battle was unending, and I am getting drained sustaining these gears

“Crap!” I shouted with frustration

One by one my gears started to vanish. I started breathing heavily as well. I tried defending myself using the last bit of my strength and I am starting to lose consciousness. Then a lightning bolt struck the ground that wiped half of the hoard of demons

Nimbus arrived and immediately engaged in battle. I did not know what happens next because wielding too much power finally backfired at me

Several more minutes and the rest of the divine beast arrived. Batis immediately carried my unconscious body and brought it to safety. The battle was completely over but another hoard arrived, and they all look savage. The divine beast stands their ground as they wait for the demons to enter their kill zones

The war did not last long but the beast all looks exhausted. Then the ceiling of the building burst and a stream of dark light shoot to the sky. The dust for the debris finally subsided and there was a figure this figure hovering within the stream of dark light.

(Back at the academy)

The guards finally arrived the city. They head straight to Draxx to report what happened.

“Captain! The mayor gave is this” a guard said as he shows the city’s key

“Oh no!”

“Tell me where you last seen him?” Draxx said as he grabs the collar of his men

“Chill Captain” the guards said as they stopped Draxx

“I am sorry” Draxx said as he let go

The guard chases his breath

“Mayor left us will we are heading home he said that he is going away for a quest” he said

“Hey Draxx is something the matter?” Someone shouted

Draxx looked back

“Oh it’s you Sora” Draxx said

“So?” Sora asked with a suspicious look in his face

“Oh it is nothing” Draxx said as he gave a signal to his men to get a move on

The guards saw the signal, so they went on their way

“Stop right there! And where do you think you are going?” Sora raised her voice and placed her hand on her waist

“Ma’am” the guards said as they salute

“Tell me why you came here this late at night?” Sora asked

The guards started shaking in fear

“You guys can go. I will take it from here” Draxx ordered

“Come on Sora we should find a place where no one can hear us” Draxx suggested

They went inside Sora’s room. They made sure no one was around

“Now tell me why the city guards went here this late at night?” Sora asked

“Promise me first that you won’t freak out” Draxx said

“Okay I promise” Sora said as she raised her right hand

“Chris left the school permanently” Draxx informed

“No!” Sora raised her voice
