Chapter 35

"So what is it now? what are you going to do?" Genie asked her, confusing the queen as she sat there out in the balcony for a few hours now. But she was staring at Genie for some time. "What are you talking about?" She asked. "I mean, you been having nightmares and all, what's the next move now. Does Misi help you out? what happens?" Genie asked, taking a large sip of her coffee and Nori walked into the queen's room with some more fruits with her, walking out of the balcony and holding the large plate in her grip. And now, with a big smile on her face, she went there. However, the second the queen saw it, she was a little frustrated. "Is this very much necessary? I just ate." Evi asked, immediately pulling both of her legs up and close to her chest. Holding her knees together and right then she placed the entire plate on the round table, sitting down right next to her. All three girls enjoyed this beautiful afternoon together, all because they were extremely given very strict instructions and at the same time, the order came from right above, from the highest of the highest man himself, the king.. Of course they both could not say no, how ever she could say no, but she did not want to after the day she had. She just wanted to be with people she could trust, feel more and more awake. Everyone could very clearly understand that and Genei quickly pushed the plate forward for her to continue eating. "I am already full. I have been doing this for the past hour...." Evi said. and Genie shook her head. "Not enough food has got inside of you." Nori said, sitting down by the large swing that was right across, something that her father got for her as a present and that belonged to her house back in her pack. "This is very nice." Nori said, looking at how there were flowers growing on it, healthy and everything. "I can't believe the king actually allowed it in here," Genei let out. "Barka will allow anything now that comes with her name in it. I am telling you Genie." Nori let out getting very comfortable on that large seat. "I have never seen this side of him before, he just sounds so different. And when he gets irritated, he is to irritated fast, and when he gets angry, there is no end sight to it, and when he is with you." She said pointing at Evelet. "He a completely different man. I grew up with him, and I see a difference, Barka." She said, both the girls listening to her very carefully. But it was Evi who was listening carefully, and taking all the information in deeply. "What can I say? She whispered taking a large piece of orange and shoving it inside of her throat. "But what happened to you wasn't right either Evi." Nori said, and this got her attention. "Do you know him, that man I keep seeing with the grey eyes?" Evi asked. and Nori immediately shifted in her seat, trying to avoid eyes contact. Grabbing on to her hot chocolate. "Barkas said that after you rest, you have to go to Misi and by tomorrow your training will start." Nori said. "You wanted to train and there are a lot of great teachers we have in this Kingdom." She said, trying to divert the conversation, which felt painfully long. And Nori was not even subtle about it. And as disturbing as it was, he shook his head. "Are you honestly doing this?" Evi asked, irritated. "It was instructed by your mate, the king. And also he had given me instructions not to tell you anything. Barka said Misi would tell you whatever she has to say. She will be the right one to explain it all." Nori said and Genie nodded her had. Looking at her best friend. Genei hoping Evi would understand, but Evi, on the other hand, was going through her own dilemma. However at that moment quickly Evelet sat up, alarming every one together. "Okay, let's go to Misi and talk to her" Evi said. "Finish first." Genie said, pointing at the fruits in front of her. Quickly she grabbed a large apple and a few grapes, walking right and passed them. "Let's go then." She said and, in a swift moment, walked out. Nori got up, as she was a little worried for her best friend and Genie on the other hand, she shut her eyes tight.. "She is never going to change," Genie said, and both of them knew that. "Barka and Evi are exactly like each other, stubborn, never listens to anyone and now that she has a title...." Genie said, getting up putting on her shoes, walking. "Now she is going to behave like a... Queen that she is." Genei said, completely pissed off at the her behaviour, which was very childish. Quickly she walked behind her, watching her finish her food. Within no time, all of them were out of the castle, and with no guards, they walked freely. How ever, at this moment there was a lot of noises coming on, and there were birds chirpping around, people gardening and going on. People talking as they walked right past the Queen, bowing and giving her the respect. But she could very clearly here the warriors learning on the other side of the castle, learning how to fight or practicing how to fight. That is what got her attention. Something she had loved to do since she was a child. Learned combat, and especially in wolf form, something she was very good with. They then started to move further away and the distance started to build up while the noise was covering itself as well. "Where are we going? " "How far is it?" Both Genie and Evelet asked, one individual question. "Just a little bit more." Nori said as they walked away and out of the castle and entirely to into the most dense forest area. Evi had always seen this forest from her bedroom, but this was the first time she was in there. It was slightly much more darker and very cold, almost too cold. She thought and quickly noticed that even her best friend was really rubbing her shoulders. "What is this place?" Evi asked. "Don't mind the cold," She said. "Actually Misi likes it like this. The darkness here, this is all her place and everything you see here belongs to her. This is her garden, this is her work place, and this is where she does everything. It keeps her safe, and she keeps the forest safe. Barka gives everyone safty." Nori said, and the queen nodded her head. Completely agreeing. However, at that moment all of them reached to this beautiful house that was completely made out of stone. Extremely large and it smelt very beautiful like some sort of spices and flower. The smell of water falling on stone, it was amazing as they continued to walk. How ever, the path to her house from the kingdom was just one straight line. "There was no fence around." Genie let out. "Doesn't have to be, it is still protected." Nori explained. Quickly as she walked up the stairs, seeing how there was a garden everywhere. But still dark and cold. Gradually, she pushed the door open, walking in and what they saw inside, surprised both the best friends. This was one huge open area, not much furniture but very limited of them. There was food being prepared and this house, it was extremely big inside. The last staircase and she leaned in to see where it could go, but that place was only surrounded by darkness. This was all very strange. And it felt very strange too. Neither did it make her scared, neither did it make her happy. "How are you feeling now?" Misi's voice came out of no where. Surprising her, as all three of them immediately turned around to see her voice coming from the kitchen. Quickly, the queen walked in. There she saw the woman chopping off some vegetables, and putting them into a large bowl. "Is that a soup?" Nori asked. "Yes, I thought you guys would like some." She said. "Sit down," Misi said, pointing to the side. "We just ate Misi.." Evi let out. "No you did not, you did not finish your food." Misi said, completely seeing through her lies. It was a little shocking but she understood how she knew, but did not understand why she forgot that she was talking to a very professional and oldest witch in the world.. Never the less, all three of them sat down in that small kitchen in the corner, and there was a table and 4 chairs all of them. Taking one seat each, Misi started to place three bowls for each of them. "So......... what did you want to know?" Misi asked, looking at the queen while telling her to eat the soup. And nevertheless she started to eat, immediately loving the way the warm food went into her system. "I wanted to know about the man in my dream. I know everyone over here know him, and no one is ready to speak to me or tell me the truth. So, who is he?" Evi asked. "One of the oldest rivals of this Kingdom. These families never mingle with each other, they just could not and nobody knows how this war between them even started. But this between them has been in them for years. And even now Barka was not going to let anyone touch this kingdom. Very protective of his people, just like his father and his grandfather. The war has always happened between them, and when there is a new king, there is black magic. Everyone is involved but the truth is what is happening to you has never happened to anyone else before. But whatever is happening to you is strange." She said, stunning Evi. "He is talking to you, he wanted to see you and always coming in your dreams. This can be a strategy," She said. "How?" Nori asked. "I don't know that. How ever, this has never happened before and of course, we all know there is a war coming. But the truth is that he is one of the most strongest man alive, stronger than any of his old family and strong enough just like Barka." Misi explained everything, and that was a help to Evi. "Why is he coming to me? what does he want from me ?" Evi asked, wanting more and more answers. "Maybe he is using you because you are Barka's mate. Putting you in this position will only create problems for Barka." Nori said. However, right as those words came out of her, Evelet could not help but think that this is what Barka was talking about when he said he did not want a mate. He was not talking about how love struck he would be, but how this could put him in a position where it would be difficult for him to process. She remembered very clearly, how he was in such a panic state today. He left his work to be with her and he wouldn't move away as well. He himself did not eat food and left. All of that was not weakness, but that can completely shift him off his responsibility. And now she was understanding meaning... Evi then continued on to eat her soup. Something she was unconsciously doing and the witch watching him, she was very grateful for that. "Believe me, everything is going to be okay. You just have to trust me." She said, never once looking away from the queen, but the queen was just glancing at the table, she was over thinking in her mind. When suddenly something happened and her body started to feel very heavy. "Oh god.." She whispered, as her eyes went wide. And placing her hand on her mouth as gasped. "This soup is going to come out." Evi said. She quickly got up when suddenly Misi grabbed her, bringing her close to the sink and there immediately Evi threw up everything. The feeling of her food going in the other way was painful, but it was also relaxing to know that she was not suffering. Everyone got up scared to see what was going on, but Misi was the only one who was calm and collected here, while the Queen was gasping for air. "The paste and the magic has come out, it is finally over." Misi said, helping her wipe her mouth while the queen stared at her. "Is that why you gave me the soup?" She asked. "I wanted it to come out of your system immediately. The mist did most of it, and the rest you threw up." Misi informed. How ever, as disgusting as it was, she was very thankful for the information for and the soup and for no longer feeling weak. Because now her body was feeling much better, slowly she glanced at her shoulder that still havd that wet cloth. And Misi started to pull it away, seeing how it had completely healed without her wolf's help. "I would prefer you use that cream when someone is closed to death. It has a specific need.." Misi said and Evi nodded her head, relaxed as ever.. "You must get going, there is someone you will have to meet." Misi said, giving her another clue that obviously Evi did not understand. But she did not question either. She smiled at her, softly walking away from there. However, one last time looking at the deadly soup. Never the less, she rushed out of there and now out. Evi now knew the answer that she got, and it was quite enough. No longer worried, she got all the details as to who that man was, this was subttle and settled. ........................................................................................................................................................................................................ Multiple large cars made their way towards the castle, as the gate of the castle started to close and the cars were parked right in front of the house. How ever, there was one large Jeep right in between the cars. Immediately, then Saraam walked out of the car, walked out surrounded by his guards. And there he noticed the Alpha lord making his way down the stairs and up to the vampire king. "It's good to see your here," Barka let out. "Thank you for having us, and for the help." He said, turning around looking at two of his man. "Bring her out." He ordered and right theen the doors of the jeep opened and there was streture that had the girls sleeping on it. She looked extremely dark, she looked as her skin had started to rot away. Already dead she was completely going to disappear. The beautiful brunet slept there with her eyes tightly shut and the moment Barka saw that, the King couldn't help but feel as if he was in pain, now seeing her this way. To him she was a sister as well, maybe even her own daughter. None of this was easy for him. "Let's take her upstairs." Barka let out, and walked in, with more and more protection came around her and now by werewolves as well. In no time they are got up and right then Evi walked out from the forest, quickly noticing what was going on. As people were entering the building. The Vampire King, on the other hand, he glanced at her direction, slowly nodding his head and giving her acknowledgement, while she gave him half a smile. "Over here, Santo let out, as he took her to the section of the hospital that was assigned for her. And quickly they placed her on the bed. "Open all the windows and call Misi." Barka said to one of his guards, and as the rest of them walked around the room, letting some fresh air come in. Slowly Saraam walked up to his sister, sitting down on a chair. "Are you sure she is going to be okay?" He asked. "Misi will do everything in her power to help Anya. Trust maybe, we are not going to let anything happen to her." Barka promised. And some how he actually believed that, nodding his head. "She is all I have, the family that I am left with." He said, breaking on the inside. And Barka could clearly understand, especially the feeling of having a family. Slowly both the men felt the presence of the queen and Barka was alarmed. As he turned around, worried when he saw her walking in. Not sure how she was going to take this, being with the vampire and especially in her state that she was in. Quickly Saraam walked turned around to her. "Good morning." She said, looking at the vampire king. "Good morning to you to my queen." He greeted her. But Barka walked up to her, stunned. "What are you doing here? I thought I asked you to rest." He said, holding her shoulders. "I am done resting, I went to meet Misi ." She said, surprising the king, as he slowly walked up to her pushing her hair out of the way. "Did you throw up?" He asked and she nodded her head. "Don't be so loud." She whispered and that was no use. The vampire King heard her, having a smile on his face as he saw how Barka had gotten closer to his mate. How ever Barka, on the other hand, he was just so anxious all the time when it came to her. When ever he was around her. "I still think you need to rest. I know you are afraid to sleep but right now you shouldn't be thinking about anything else." He said. And of course she wasn't listening to him. But slowly she glanced at the girl who truly looked like death to her too. "Is she going to be okay ?" Evi asked, diverting the conversation. "You can come closer if you want to my queen." Saraam said, understanding she was not sure about this. But Evi did walk closer. They were supposed to be mortal enemies, but nothing about this girl or the king made Evi feel like there was any danger or angry on them. She looked at the girl, a she was turning grey and it was actually sad to see her this way. Evi could immediately sense something. She could feel as if, this girl wanted to live. It was a strange thing to hear a vampires thoughts, but she could. Evi slowly crunched her face, realising she was actually reading a vampire's thoughts. "My lords." Misi's voice came from behind, distracting all of them. As all three turned around. How ever, Misi's eyes were only on the queen. She knew Evelet wanted to do something, but with these two men around her, it would be difficult. "Why don't you both step outside, I have to talk to you." Misi said, and quickly the Alpha lord and vampire king left the room. Not before Barka turned around, looking at his mate up and down. Knowing she would be safe here. But her safety was not what the queen was bothered about. She glanced back at the sleeping girl and it was so strange. "Touch her hand....." A voice said, surprising her, and she stood up straight. "Flower is that you?" Evelet asked her. "No, it was not me but I think you should touch her hand." Flower also indicated. Never the less, she slowly bent down, taking the girl's hand in hers and it was almost like touching ice. And it was quite painful. There was a squeez on her face, but suddenly it started to get warm on her skin. The once gray fingers that the girl had there were turning black. It seemed like the darkness was disappearing now as she touched her. Softly, very softly, it was growing all around. It was clear that she was shocked to see this. "What?" She said to herself, not knowing what she was doing to her. And immediately Evelet pulled away from her hand. And once again her hands and fingers were grey in colour. "What the hell?" She whispered to herself, watching as the corps like a girl stayed there. How ever, right then some thing happened. Her eyes started to move around. "Huuhhh....." Evi gasped. She was so freaked out, thinking she might have seen wrong or hurt the girl. But she did not look or she did not since her in pain at all. Just not understanding what was going on.
