For the first time ever, when it came to her your old mate Evi had nothing to say at all, nothing even in her own defence. Some one she had lived with for so long, it was honestly too much And even the thought it got to her. She was thinking way to hard here. How ever, right at that moment, a small blusing sound came from his pant pocket, and it was evident that he was getting a call. Slowly he pick it out and there he noticed. It was important who ever it was. "You should be here for some more time Evi, look around the place and then go. I will leave you to this..." He said, smiling softly and turning around. Evi, on the other hand, did not react in anyway and said nothing. Just watched him turn around and walk away from there. That was all she did. Evi, on the other hand, started to shake her head and look away from the closing door, turning back around to the shrine, mad now. "There is nothing between us both..." She muttered to herself, knowing that was not the truth of the matter. She did not care about what anyone else had to say to this anymore. Evi couldn't help but think how in anyway she could have anything to feel over a man who was just known for his brutality to this world. None of that really made any sense to her and she refused to think over it again. She was still angry with him, especially now. However, right at that moment, something else happened as well. The doors opened yet again and she rolled her eyes up, a bit irritated. "Enough now Rann, I don't want to talk about anything. And don't want to listen either. I just want to be alone for sometime.." She said, hearing foot steps coming in. When suddenly she stopped on her track, her eyes stuck to a place and not continuig to talk anymore. The silence was surrounded by each and everyone, but that is not what got her of guard. It was the presence of Barka and she knew it was him. Slowly Evi turned around, gradually as she noticed Barka standing there, and far away from her. He looked around the place realising how she might have got here, but I did not seem as much of a problem to him as of now. Both of them stated quiet for a few seconds and none of them knowing who should break the silence, but she very well knew that he was here to say something to her for sure. But what exactly he was here to say was a bit unknown to the queen. Never the less, she walked down the stairs. How ever, the king, the lord on the other hand, he glanced up at her, watching her as Evi looked a bit tired. "What happened ?" She asked, not being able to be crowded with this loud silence between them. How ever, Barka refused to say anything yet again, staying their quiet all of a sudden. It was very irritating, even for her. But quickly the king, of the Kings turned around walking out of the room. "Maybe we should walk outside Evelet." He said, making his way out of the room, wanting her to follow right behind him. At that moment, the way he spoke to her, the tone that he used, everything was so out of place. She wasn't understanding his behaviour, but knew some thing was off. Quickly she started to make her way out of the room, taking small steps but being a bit faster now. Her legs feeling heavy on her, as a very stressed feeling started to consume her as well. With in no time, both of them were out, as he was making his way towards the large balcony that was the only place that had bright light falling on to it. He walked outside and she was right behind him, feeling the warmth of the sun hit her again. No longer was she cold. "What is it?" She asked, watching his back. How ever, the stood right there by the edge, looking out at his Kingdom while his hands were holding on to the rail of the slab tightly in his grip. It was almost as if he had to bring out all sort of courage from inside of to speak out loud . Although, Evi, on the other hand, she glanced here and there as her eye balls were moving around and she could feel his distress inside of him. "Is some thing wrong again?" She said, and this time Evi was trying to taunt him but couldn't help but actually think of what she could have done as well. Although, finally Barka opened his mouth, taking in a deep breath inside. "I think It's time you go back to your pack Evelet, and after the full moon celebration is over. You should leave the Kingdom." He said to her, finally letting it out. How ever, the Queen, on the other hand, she stay right there, and unmoving, trying to understand what he was trying to say to her, and it had so many things running in her mind. She was so confused. "Why do you want me to go back to my pack? to stay with my family? Is something wrong with them?" She asked as her eyes went wide, and she was concerned at the moment for her people back home. Although, Evi was truly, reading too much into his words, so much so that she couldn't understand him at all. How ever, he stood right there, but now look down to the ground. "That is not what I meant.." He whispered, and she started to shake her head, really not understanding why she had to go then. "What work do I have there? Is something wrong with my family or is my pack under attack? Did you get a call?" She asked him numerous questions, hoping to get an answer for one of them at least. "Evelet, enough.." Barka called out her name, and she was quiet then, listening but still going about everything that could have affected her family back home. "What Barka?, is there any message that came to you. Just tell me what is going on...................." "I want you to leave this Kingdom Evelet and never come back.." He said to her, immediately turning back towards her and looking her in to her eyes. the anger and venom he held in his voice was so clear to her. But Barka was saying something to her, that he had never wanted to say in his entire life. But it seemed like it just came out of his body, and it was all pushed right towards her. Although, right now this was enough for Evi to stay quiet, but more than enough for her to understand what exactly he was trying to say. Her heart stopped, and it was needless to say that this struck her, nothing about it was only that much. She stared at him deep into his eyes for a little while, almost as if she was trying to understand him. "What did you just say?" She asked, a small whisper coming out of her mouth. She could speak, but the sensation in her hands just evaporating away. How ever, the king stood there, facing her and clenching on to his jaw. "You are not capable of being in this Kingdom Evelet, I think, I have seen enough to understand that my judgement wasn't wrong and it pains me to say that I was right. I was right about not having a mate and no one being capable enough to rule right next to me." He said, breaking every part of her that was still alive. "Yes? .." She asked him the question, but the answer that she was receiving hurt her so much. "I have given myself a chance to have a queen............" "But you got me ?" She whispered, her voice breaking at every word that came out of her and this stab him in the heart, but he was painfully blocking that part of him, not wanting to feel anything, any more. Although, immediately he clenched his hand into a fist, digging his nails into his skin. Barka wanted to hurt himself. "You want me to leave my people?" She asked. "I want you to leave this Kingdom Evelet, you have no sense understanding what you can mean to these people, and if you can't understand that, then there is no point of you staying here..."He letout, and she was struck more than ever. "So, is this a practice test for you. I was a test here?" She asked, a heavy frown falling on her face and she was going pale. Clearly everything was just shuttering inside of her. 'You can think what ever you want to, but right after the full moon celebration, Santo will drop you back home, where you belong." He said, his voice was no longer thick, strong. he was just speaking and that was it. And that is all he had to say to her as well. Right then Barka then walked right past her, and away. He was leaving. "But I belong with my people......." She whispered, making him stop on his track and her eyes then started to water. She had no idea why she was crying, she did not want him either. Evi knew she wanted to leave him. But yet hearing him say that, she was actually surprised, but for once, heart broken as well. "You...You said that this Kingdom needed a Queen, and you want me to leave them alone," She asked, and she was stunned now. Angry even. "And that is all that you are got from this. Just the Kingdom. You are not sad about anything else?" He asked her. All because he wanted to know if she was sad about anything other than that. "Why? do you want to show you any other emotion. Something you are not very familiar with." She asked the trying to challenge him and it was very clear to him as to what she was going through. He could see it right in front of his eyes. But this time he stayed quiet. However, it was not the same for her. She couldn't look at him anymore and it was that painful. Slowly the she glanced away from him, looking at the family that she had created over here, the people that she had come to understand and now leaving them, more over even the thought of that broke her heart. Leaving him also seemed shattering, but Evi quickly shut her eyes tight, not wanting to think about him. But her heart wouldn't allow that on her. "Don't let him Evi, don't let him do this to us." Flower spoke up, but both of them knew it was not up to either of them here. It was the kings order, better be done. However, as she closed her eyes, tears started to fall down her cheeks. Evi opened them back up again, every thing coming of a bit too blurry. But she did not care. How ever, right there and then Evi turned around, and this time she was the one walking past him. She could not stand here any more and face him. Speed walking and in such a fast manner. Evi wasn't running, but she wanted to. How ever, her body was not allowing any of that movement. It all seeming a bit too much to ask for, but she rushed out of there. because she knew, if she stayed there any longer she would break right in front of him, in the most brutal way possible. Immediately there was hick up in her, she was letting it all out. Placing her hand on her stomach Evi was rushing back down the stairs, and now running away, not want to looked at him any more. But that seemed like the most best idea she had. How ever, the king on the other hand, he stood right there realising what he had done.. Because a few days from now, if this was something that he would have decided. It wouldn't have taken him a second to say yes, and send her away. But for the first time in his like, the decision that he made, it all seemed amazingly wrong to him. And the fact that without thinking of power, the crown or even her luxury here, Evelet was first thinking about her people and only them. Barka did not understand why he was just shocked to understand that, but here he stood. As if nothing was left inside of him anymore. Because what everything, what ever feeling was stuck to him she was walking away. And now the man was losing everything that he had inside of him, she was the only thing that made him feel anything in his broken heart. Mostly losing the side of reality now, and you are none of that seeing realistic. But Barka knew he had to make a decision, something had to change. .............................................................................................................................................................................................................. Many hours passed by, and the celebration of the outside world had already become louder and brighter. But the lights of the castle were not turned on yet, and the decoration on the outside was still on halt. And all of this only because there was a dreadful news spreading around the place. The king had already made arrangement of the queen to leave the castle, and all the it was not spread all around the place or the Kingdom, but among them, who ever knew of it. They were all in a dreadful state. The celebration in the castle head taken a halt, it was the atmosphere here that had completely changed. How ever, it did not take much longer for the Queen mother and Misi to know any of this. Although, the King, on the other hand, he was busy with Anya. Standing very close to his sister, and watching as the color of her skin was changing, slowly but it was going back. He was more than happy to see her this way, she looks better and he knew that she served to live the rest of her life in happiness. And nothing less should ever come to her. Smile softly to himself. And he couldn't at least. There was one news ahead to be happy about, but there was one. "Barka..." A voice came from behind him, and quickly he turned around to see it was Santo standing there and a worried look on his face. "The Queen mother wants to talk to you, she is very upset." He said and Barka immediately knew what this was all about. How ever there was this expression on Santho's face and boot was of pure disapproval as of now. He too was struck as well. "What are you even thinking about Barka? how can you tell her to leave, this is her home too." He said, but Barka did not say a word. But he got up from his seat, turning around and walking out the room without any explanation to his best friend, brother. Within no time, Barka had already reached his office, where he knew his entire family was.Walking in, he could see his grandmother, Misi, even his brother and Nori sitting there. And all of them had such a paniced look of their faces, but more than ever, it was his grandmother who looked very angry but upset at the same time. Immediately they all sensed their king in the room, and all of their eyes landing on him. But it was his grandmother who walked up closer.. "What are you thinking about? you honestly told her to leave?" She asked, scared for an answer from him. "It is the right thing to do......" He justified. "For whom? for you, for her, for your people? exactly for whom is this right thing Barka?. This is the worst decision you can make for anyone and who are you to decide?" She asked, mad as of now. "Her mate, and a king." He let out. "Evi has never been anything but the queen too, and even you know that." She let out, speaking the truth. How ever, to him it felt almost as if he knew it all, but it not want he wanted to acknowledge. he looked away from his grandmother, and now shake his head. "Even you know that very clearly Barka, I don't think we have to even talk about this. I know you have no ego in yourself to do this but you are still doing this, why?" She asked. "Because I cannot have Evelet get hurt......" He said screaming right at her face, almost immediately surprising her and everyone there, and to a point that they were all in shock. Everyone sat there, and their mouth wide open. Especially because of the way he was screaming at his grandmother, some thing that had never happened before. But more over because of what he said to his grandmother. The Queen mother, on the other hand, she was so happy, but the happiness couldn't stay there for long. "Your fear of losing her, it's so immense that you are ready to let her go." She asked. "I am not afraid of losing her." He said, walking right past her and up towards the window, looking out. "She is your mate, you have feelings for her. And everytime she got hurt, you were the first one to get to her and the last one to leave. You don't have the courage to say this to yourself, but you are afraid. And afraid for her, but you are not understanding that if you let her go, she will end up in more trouble.." She explained. "And you don't think I know that?" He came back up. "And yet you are letting her go?' Nori asked. "I don't want her to be my queen, I do not want her to be my mate. But her safety will be taking care of. The alliance between her pack will stay intacked and she and her family will always be safe." He assured them, but still having a hard time saying it. Nori could only shake her head. Sad for Evi. "And what about you?" Santo asked. "When she leaves, will you be stable?" He asked for the first time, not talking about anyone else, but he was asking him a very valid question. "Will you be able to live without her?" The question came forward and suddenly, there was silence in the room. The Alpha lord, for once in his life couldn't come back with an answer. And even though he could come up with many just a few seconds ago, but this one went in too deep....
