Chapter 33

"What can I do for you, my lord ? Seems like you have a task for me that you wish for me to continue." She said and her very delicate voice. How ever slowly, he started to make his way to as. Watching as the fire right in front of her was turning dark blue in colour.

"Do not worry, it will not play with anything until I tell it to, but you still have to tell me what brings you here after so many years. It makes me feel as a something has come up, something that means a lot to you." She said and he smiled at her, nodding his head.

Slowly she stood right in front of her, not afraid of her in any way. He was powerful and he had given her home as well.

"I am surprised you cannot already see what I am seeing. Thought you would know Roma." He said to her and right at that moment there was a small smile that crawled on her face.

"If you ask me about my favourite feature on the Queen's face, I would say it is her eyes. I think one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen." She let out, and had surprised the man even though he should not be.

"So you do know what I am talking about and more about what I came here for." He said to Roma. As she was staring at the fire, and it kept on burning and burning louder.

"She is protected, she has Misi remember?" Roma said.

"So this will not be easy?." He asked, and she nodded her head.

"And when has that stopped you before?" Roma asked smirking at him, which was a very good point to make. She then slowly glanced up at him, trying to read him, and this was something she could understand. Something she did not want to.

"How ever, I can see that you want to see the Queen, but I can assure you it is difficult." Roma said, slowly getting up and turning around. She was making her way towards larger room. I had a big giant area that seemed to be completely empty but a large chandelier above her that was not lit at all. However, the light of the moon was passing through the windows and directly falling into the room.

She was making her way towards the light.

"I want her one way or another Roma," He said, walking in.

"And for the power that she will possess?" Roma asked.

"And for much more than that." He said, and that was the truth.

"Her being here with me will only show the power I have and how Barka failed in life. She is something I want." He let out, but she knew there was still more to it.

"I am telling you that can be possible, but it will not be easy." Roma said.

"And as long as it can be possible."

"The spell cast by Misi is strangely strong, the same one I have put on you. And for both to meet each other will not be a simple task. But you will get to see her. That's all, but not for too long. If the spell doesn't pass completely, you will be pulled out. So just live out your fantasy some where for a little while." She said, and he smiled at her, knowing what she was capable of. And knowing there is no guarantee.

"I just want to see her face to face, not through someone else's eyes and definitely not through someone else's image. This sketch of her has shaken something inside of me and now I want to see the Queen with flesh and blood. Send me to her." He said and the only thing that she could do smirk at him softly.

"I think some things never change. Your father was the same way, very bossy, but I can understand the blood connection between you both.

Never the less, she nodded her head, turning around while walking towards him. Never taking her eyes off of him at all, but slowly pulling out a small and a sharp dagger from her sleeve. Something very personal to her. And without a word said,, Roma immediately made a large cut on his hand.

It was truly the most painful thing to watch, but he did not care and neither did she. Immediately she took the tagger that had his blood on it, and started making her way towards the fire. And yet again chanting something that he couldn't hear or understand.

"Armis parathic mar.."

"Armis parathic mar.."

"Armis parathic mar.."

She continued to say it. And it was small whispers coming out of her mouth. And her eyes closed as she ws walking through the corridor and into the room, almost as if she knew every thing about this house. And how many steps to take for her to reach anywhere. Suddenly feeling the heat of the fire. And so she stood right in front of it, continuing to chant.

""Armis parathic mar.."

She said, while placing the dagger on top of the fire and letting the blood slowly trip down into the burning flame. The flames suddenly starting to get bigger and brighter and that was when right there and then she dropped the dagger on to the fire. Arth walked in, and he felt as if something just dragged him out of there. Pulling on to his soul.

"Sit down." She said to him, and he never said a word but slowly made his way across the room, sitting on that one chair that had been there for years. He sat there comfortably knowing exactly what he had to do.

Slowly pushing his head backwards, he stayed like that for a few seconds. His breath getting heavy on him.

"Now go to her, see her and touch her. But you have a limited time period here. That is for how long I can hold her power." Roma said, smiling softly to him as he started to drift away into his sleep. Inviting is and falling asleep with in no time.

How ever, back in the castle. It seem as if everything had settled and he was not upset with anyone and anymore, not even Robert. Seemed as if he had understood what that man had gone through, but still there would be a strict punishment for attacking a royal guards. Something Robert had agreed on.

However, quickly Barka made his way out of his office. And today was entirely mostly a very quiet day, now that he had actually ordered Evi to sleep and not wake up at all .

What he was surprised at the most was that Evelet listened to his order. It was very disturbing to him that she would actually do what he said;. Even though it was for her own good, the man was a little taken a back. But he wasn't going to question it. Hoping she was not causing any more trouble to herself. Which is mostly what she did. Creating more problems for herself.

Quickly he started to walk out of his office, and now ready to go to sleep or maybe go check up on her.. But before that, he had to go get her some dinner to eat. And right at that moment as he got out, there he saw one of the maids was bringing up Evi's food trolley that he had asked for.

"Give me the plate, I will take it to her." He said surprising the helper, but never the less she bent forward and passed the plate to him. She was so struck by what he just said, and so he quickly turned around and both of them walked in the opposite direction.

"Barka wait.." A voice came from behind him, and he turned around to see it was Nori.

"Yes Nori." He let out, noticing how she was running up to him. This took him of guard. But she quickly hugged him tightly, shutting her eyes close and just staying like that for that one moment.

"Thank you....... thank you so much." She said and Barka knew exactly what she was talking about.

"Thank you for not trying to kill Robert." She let out, pulling away from him.

"You have to understand his mate was in trouble, that is why my brother reactor." She said,, trying to make him understand.

"I do Nori, I do understand." He said, stopping her immediately, so that she did not continue this anymore. He have thought about this so long and he wanted to forget and move on.

"I can understand the punishment you have given him, because of what he did to your mate. I can understand, I can truly do." She said.

"49 days in the cell will be it, Nori." He said..

"I can understand, nobody is upset with your judgement and your order. I am just happy you spared his life. Although, took things too far. And maybe things would be different now." She said, thanking her best friend.

"You should go rest. He will be back with you in no time." Barka let her know, quickly turning around as she nodded her head. she was more than happy as to how things changed, understanding how things could have turned into a big mess. How ever right then he stopped on his track, turning around one last time.

"How is she?' The king asked, talking about Genie.

"With him." She said.

"Bring her back and tell her to rest. She can visit when ever she wants." Barka said, completely walking away from there and leaving his best friend all around. But Nori was more than happy, she was so glad that Evi was in his life now and this man was turning into something else entirely.

How ever, Barka, on the other hand, once he reached his bedroom, slowly he pushed the door open, walking it to see the lights were off. Immediately, he turned the light on and there he saw her, surprised to see that Evelet was still asleep. The medicine that he had put on her actually worked and it was not only for her to recover but for her to relax, sleep well. Slowly, then Barka walked up to her, placing the plate close, seeing how she was so deep sleep. Barka then placed his hand on her forehead, seeing how she was normal, and noticed her sleeping on one of her shoulder. He started to move the cloth from her shoulder to see it had in fact held. Completely this time and like nothing had happened. But the medicine was still inside of her, that would be difficult for him to wake her up at all and seeing her so comfortable, Barka did not want to.

Then let out a small huff, started to make his way to was the bathroom to change for the night and wanted to rest. Maybe even take care of her. How ever, right then after he went into the washroom, Evi was still all alone in the room, still a sleep but at this moment her eye balls started to move here and there, as if she was in distress.

However, slowly Evi opened her eyes, getting comfortable in her warm senses. She was still in her room and all alone.. She knew Barka was not here, she could not even feel the presence of Barca.

"Barca........?" She called out for him, feeling so lonely here. She had not seen him for so long that right now she wanted him around her. Evi was looking all over the place, and there was no light in the room and she was relying on the light that made its way through the moon. That was very much it.

However, what was strange was that this night was much colder than before. A strange mist coming from her mouth when she called out for his name.

"What the, why is it so cold here?" She asked, herself. Starting to rubber hands and feeling colder than ever.

"Flower." She now called out for her, but unfortunately nothing happened . Flower did not seem to want to respond. It was not new, she has been going in and out for so long. Slowly then Evi pushed her covers off, getting down from her bed and immediately regretting it. All because the cold floor sent shivers down her body.

"Oh my God," She let out, putting on her slippers and making her way out, wanted to get out and back to the world. How ever she slowly pulled the door open, but nothing happened. This confused her.

"Oh come on." She let out, looking around as a frown started to form on her face.

"What the hell?" She asked to herself, and it was then that she understood it was locked.

"Did he just lock me in here, unbeliever I am a f****** adult." She said, completely angry with him as she tried to pull at the door again, yet for nothing to happy.

"Shit.." She let out, backing away.

But right then she heard a movement behind her, completely startling her. It was than that Evi understood a presence was standing outside in the balcony.. She let out a small breath of happy that Barka was in fact here, and in the room with her.

Not understanding that why he did not talk to her, or was he still angry yet again. She thought to herself while walking out.

She walked out of the cold night.

"Barka, the door isn't opening ." She said, and he let nothing out.

"Why aren't you talking?" She asked, walking up close and down the stairs. How ever, suddenly feeling extremely cold as she wrapped her arms around her shoulders, rubbing them softly. There she realized that something was different about him. The height was similar, the way he was standing was similar, but he couldn't be sensed. And that was something she could not understand.

"You are here." He said and she immediately backed away, taken a back by what she heard.. Stumbling a little because of the steps behind her. But she composed herself.

"Who are you?" She asked, not understanding who this man was in her chamber, and slowly the man turned around facing the queen and that is where she recognised him. The man was from her dream. And he had the same voice, but this moment there was no unnecessary show to scare her. No dead bodies or blood eitther. He was right here and staring, as she started to back away. trying to freak her. But nothing worked.

"There is no one here, just you and me. Nobody else." He said, and that was a statement that completely took her of guard. She was so terrified, she was freaked right now. Evi could not even here any ones heartbeating except for her own.

Slowly he looked away from him and at the kingdom outside, not even one light on, and it felt and look so dead and isolated. How ever, Arth on the other hand, he was watching the way she was afraid of what unknown was to come. That could happen and some how that made him feel much more powerful.

"You have no idea who you are? do you?" He asked, not expecting and answer but and expression of confusion, which came from her face. She did not know.

How ever, something very strange happened to her, as she backed away, her back landed on a wall behind. But she couldn't move, she wanted to move but it felt as if something was holding her there.

Arth noticed her distress, taking a step forward towards her.

Evi wanted to fight back, she wanted to do something, but it was next to impossible.

"I can understand wanting to move back." He let out, walking closer.

"Stay away from me." She spoke up speaking to him for the first time and that brought a smile on his face.

"Since the moment I saw you, you have been stuck in my mind and now it took us black magic the even get this close to you my Queen." He said, surprising her and walking even closer. That was making her even more vulnerable.

"Step back." She said almost immediately, but it seemed as if he did not want to listen to her, getting so close and now there was no distance between them. She was struck, not knowing who this man was and how he was coming closer to her but at the mention of black magic she was afraid of this man. Arth stared at her, and at every inch of her face. He was just taking in the beauty that she was and the scent that she carried.

"You are precious." He said, slowly touching her skin and closing his eyes. The experience of this moment was unbelievable to him. How ever, Evi, on the other hand, was in pure disgust. She shifted her face away from his, disgusting. How ever there was a smile on his face and now that was growing bigger and bigger.

"You can run as much as you want, but understand one thing." He said, getting closer placing his head on her forehead. Whispering right into her years.

"You can be with him all you want, survive with him but you won't be able to live with him my Queen." He said, as her chest went up and down, fear consuming her.

"Barka has taken a lot from me." He said, and this got her attention. So much so, and now realizing that he was not just any man, he was real. Everything started to make more and more sense to her. And more and more terrifying as it was.

"All I am saying is, rest while you can because once I come for you, I will take you away from everything." He said to her and her eyes shaking as everything started to go white all around her.

A loud voice echoing through her ears.

Barka, on other the other hand, immediately heard a commotion outside and he understood that she was shifting on the bed. But it was so loud and continued. Immediately, he looked at himself in the mirror, try to concentrate and that is when he heard her wimping softly. Instantly, the man rushed out of there. The door opened so loud and there he saw her. She was shifting in her sleep and trying to move her eyes as there were tears in them. Evelet was holding on to her cover, pushing them away and then closer.

And her frustration and fears were on her face.

Immediately, he ran up to his mate, because she was trying to wake her up. But she could not and right at that moment he clearly understood that the medicine that she had in her system will not let her wake up.

"Evelet........." He called for her and even louder. Just for nothing to happen. And for the first time ever felt so helpless, watching her as she was suffering and immediately he wrapped his arms around her body, pulling her close to his chest and sitting there. While she softly wimping in his hold.

"Evelet, I am right here, I got you..." He said to her, hoping she could hear him. Just wanted to feel him around and just so she could stop being afraid of what ever that was causing so much fear, he stayed there.
