Chapter 32

Everything seemed a little hefty in the room and no one was able to speak to each other. Mostly it was almost as if no one wanted to and the distance between them was slightly vast. He was standing by the door of the balcony trying to breathe and let himself feel something for once other than anger and of course, his anger for the very first time had started to flow out in abundance and in a way that he would never have expected. It was climbing to an extent that just made him suffer. But he had a very good reason for doing so and the reason was his queen. Nobody else had the power or the resource to ever make him feel that way and yet he or she was putting him through hell. Yet again and still he could not let her go. How ever, she, on the other hand, she was still standing by the pillar and not being able to move a muscle, but her legs had started to hurt and standing there all alone it wasn't all that idol either. As Evi would have expected it to be. A queen getting yelled at for doing something noble seems stupid to her. How ever, now that a screaming match around them had completely ended, there she then moved away from there. Sitting on the bed and that was not because she wanted to relax, but she was just exhausted. Mentally, there was no relaxing here for her, she just wanted to do the same thing as he was doing and breathe if that is what it took. Letting out a large breath, Evelet shut her eyes for a second and suddenly feeling very cold in her right hand. It was because of the blood that was drying up on her skin, and still bleeding from her shoulder, there was a large scratch and a cut that Robert had left on her and now it was unbearable. And she could feel it right now. How ever, because of the cold breeze coming through the open doors of the balcony, she could feel it to a different level of cold as well. Slowly Evi open her eyes and glanced down, seeing how it had gone deep into her flesh, showing the bone. Evi was too afraid to touch it. How ever, the Alpha lord quickly turned around, glancing and watching at what she was doing, seeing how this must be painful. "Don't touch it." He said almost immediately. "It is hurting." She said. "Of course, it is."He said, walking right past her and to the bathroom. How ever Evi watched him go away, watching his every move as he went through. "What are you doing?" She asked him. How ever, for the first time ever, he had nothing more to say to her and Barka refused to talk to her as well. And this behaviour was some thing she did not expect from the Alpha lord. But she never questioned it, not wanting to fight with him yet again. Never the less, she was slowly looking at the piece of stone that was on the floor and the large c***k with a missing cut on the pillar. Immediately she started to shake her head. "You have to control your anger, especially at me." She said, as the man walked out and was now holding a large wooden box in his hands. How ever, his hand was also bleeding and she saw a large cut on his knuckles. Open largely. "What happened to you? why would you do that to yourself?" She said to him, hurt to see this. How ever yet, he wasn't talking to her. Quickly he kicked the stone away from his way, and started to make his way towards his queen. Barka, sitting down right next to her. Not paying any attention, but opening the box. Quite irritating for her this was. "Can you please just talk to me? This is a very childish behaviour." She said to him, not at all scared to talk to a king. And immediately Barka stared at her, completely stunned. "I am the one being childish?" He asked her. "You are just mad at me because I did something which is legal for me and the right thing to do. It was my job to protect my people." She said, but he had more to say to her. "You have guards here............. I can't do this again Evelet, enough now." He said quickly, looking away and pulling out a glass that had a certain cream inside of it. This got her confused. "I thought you would bring a first aid kit or something." She whispered, but he did not say anything over that again. And now because of how he was being with her, after screaming his lungs out, he was immediately so worried about her. And this was not okay. "You don't want me to react when some things like this happens ?" She said to him as she took his hand and was carefully looking at it. How ever the Alpha lord immediately stopped what he was doing, he was completely taken a back by what she did. He glanced at his queen, seeing how there was a frown on Evi's face. She was actually worried about him, and this came as a shock, clearly knowing how angry she got at him all the time, but that was not what caught him and his attention. It was that she was worried for him. Something he had never witnessed in anyone before, but also he had never allowed anyone to worry about him. But as he sat there, he could see how she was the one who was truly heart broken here. But her eyes were on his wounds. "Stop it." He said, almost immediately. Surprising her as she looked up. "What ?" She asked him, in a very soft voice. And her big eyes were staring at him, trying to wonder what he was trying to say to her. Slowly, he pulled his hand away from her, not wanting her to examine anything anymore and however, he took out a cloth from right under that box, and she saw how it was naturally wet for some reason. "What is this?" Evi asked, and right then he placed the cloth on the wound. "Oh my god........" She let out, actually screaming in pain as her eyes went wide open. "Everything will be okay." He said to her. "It doesn't feel like it will be......... my godddd." She answered really pissed off at what he was doing with her. "Is this revenge?. I was....... stop it......" She said, trying to push his hand away from him, and immediately he glanced at her. "Stop moving or it will hurt even more." He said, and she was in pain. "It is hurting already..." She said, as her eyes started to water now and because of the shock. "Just let my wolf heal me." She said and freaked out. "Your wolf has been through a lot Evelet. How many times do I have to tell you that the doctor said you have to rest? Is it almost as if you do not want to listen to me." He said, and she was not even listening to him. "Evi...Why can't you call me Evi?" She asked, changing the subject. "I like Evelet better, your full name is your name." He said, and this surprised her. She wasn't expecting to hear that. And this actually confused her so much so that she sat there feeling much better, as it was not burning anymore, "What is this?" She asked, looking down at the paste. "This is something that Misi gave to me a long time ago." He informed her. "What does it do? heel faster?" She asked and he nodded his head. "You can say that." He let out, putting it on her wound. It didn't feel as painful, but it was very cold. "I want your wolf to relax a bit, not stress.. Because I am sure you give her a lot of that." He said, making her mad almost immediately. "She also forced herself out, she is a queen after all."Evi said, and she had to remind him of this. "This is just unforgettable. I mean, you want to take care of me but you don't even let me look at your wound. You get angry all the time and if I get angry, I am being too emotional. It is always right when you do it." She said and he shook his head, done now. "Can you just stop for one second?" He said, interrupting her. And she sat there, staring at him. "So what?. Are you still angry with me?" Evi asked. "There is nothing you do that suddenly brings joy to me." He said, being brutal with her. "I can say the same and that was a very rude thing to say to someone." She said, pointing her finger at him. "You know, there was a time when you were so disgusted by me, that you refused to talk well. I miss that time." He said. "And now welcome to mate life. We will never stop talking about it." She said. "I know that." He whispered to himself, slowly getting up, but right there and then she stopped him and what he was doing. Looking down at her. "What happened ?" He asked, and she slowly pulled him down, forcing him to sit right next to her and he did. Taking the box from him, she took the gel out. Barka was watching her very carefully, as she pulled his hand and started putting the paste all over his knuckles as well. Yes, it was very cold and it had a very strange smell to it. But it went into the skin very quickly. "This will heal your hand." She said, pretending like she knew about this. But she was confident, just copying what he said to her. "I know what you are trying to do. I know it is very difficult for you to control your anger. You have never controlled your anger, but you are doing this with me." She let out, honestly speaking, as he glanced up at her. Slowly their eyes met. "I also know that you don't want to take help from anyone. Not because it makes you weak, but maybe that is what you have never done. Not wanting to bother anyone and that became your lifestyle. But if you are going to help me, then expect help back. I am not going to sit here just let you scream at me." She said, as the man gulped. He sat there, listening to her. "If you yell at me, I will yell at you back. If you help me, I will help you back and if you don't want help from me, then don't help me either. It goes both ways. You might have been a king for so long, people are always listening to you, but now you have a Queen, I am equal to you. Whatever happens, happens both ways from now on. Whether you like it or not." She said, immediately slamming the box on him and forcing him to glanced down at the poor thing, that was taking her anger. Slowly he grabbed the box, pulling it away from her. Although, he did not say anything but she looked at the skin that was going back to normal. She stood up looking down at her. "Let me say this again, and I......" He said, taking a short pause and struck by the way she was staring at him. Making it impossible to breathe for him. "I would recommend you fall asleep for sometime, and rest.. You can have dinner right here and I will bring it to you." He said, hoping now she would listen to him. "I thin......." She opened her mouth to say something. "And I am requesting you, not trying to yell at you. And if it is a request, don't you think you should accept it?" He asked, yet trying to use his strategy. Although it gave him a headache. But she was the one who implied it as well. Bitting the inside of her cheek, she sat there. Knowing that he was enjoying this, she nodded her head. Never the less, he placed the box on the table right next to the bed. Starting to make his way out of the room. However, as she sat on the bed all alone, there was still one question that was bothering her to a point that it was eating her up on the inside. "Where you honestly concerned about me ?" She asked, bringing up a question that was so deeply personal to her. She did not want to look weak by asking it, but she couldn't help herself either. "I heard your scream, it was not for help but to help someone else. And I know the kind of danger that can bring. I don't think you are weak in anyway. You are very strong, I just think sometimes you think from your heart too much and to a point that you do not even know how badly that can hurt you." He said, but she did not agree to that. "I can't always think logically and politically." She let out. "You can't always think through your heart either. Your presence is important to these people and if something happens to you, everything could crumble for these people. That is not something you would want for yourself or for the people you have sacrificed so much for." He said, giving her the hard truth and forcing her to think over this. She did not agree with that to a 100%, but she knew he wasn't wrong. Slowly she looked down at her hand that was drying up blood and her own blood. "All I am saying is, thinking from your heart can ruin a lot. And I am speaking from experience." He said, and she quickly glanced at him, trying to understand what he might be talking about. "I have seen a lot of people not think from their mind but from their heart and lose everything. That is not the kind of life you would want for yourself. Now rest, I will be back to check on you." He said, confusing her as he walked out of the room. "What do you mean, check on me?" She asked, completely baffled, and at the same time she squinted her eyes as lines started to form on her forehead. But he quickly closed the door on her. "I am not a small child." She said, but by that time he was completely gone. And she was more than irritated, how he always treating her as if she was a kid, yelling at her. Not listening to her and him, she was the one who had childish tantrums.. However, she got up quickly off the bed and immediately turning to the door, kind of afraid that he might walk in, started yelling at her because she got up and did not immediately fall asleep like he said. But she had a track record of never listening to him, something she was very proud of. Never the less, she walked up towards the mirror, watching as to how messed up everything looked. She was still bleeding and red everywhere on her beautiful white dress. How ever, she couldn't believe what she did today. It was so strange whatever happened. "He was scared about us." Flower let out. "Don't start again yet," Evi said. "You just have to believe, he might pretend like he does not care but you and I both know he does." Flower let out. However, at that moment she pushed her hair out of her face. "I am going to say this once, please for the Love of God don't try to bring in hope into something that has no hope. We all know what this relationship is. Let's just move on." Evi said, hoping that Flower understood and not try to move at this thought. ................................................................................................................................................................................................................... "Where is she?" Arth asked as he walked into one of the most isolated and dark corners of the woods. A deep dark forest. And at that moment he was making his way towards a house that was heavily guarded by his own men. "She is inside." A man let out. "How ever, she has said everyone to stay out." One of his men said, but Arth did not care. Immediately, the gates of the house opened for him, making a very loud noise and without any warning or so, he walked in to the house, pushing the door open. How ever, as he walked in, the only thing he could see was extreme smoke every where. This was not something that was very difficult for him to grasp, it was always that way. Making his way inside, he could hear a woman chanting something over and over again. On a very repeated basis. He couldn't understand any of it. Seeing how the fire that she was sitting right next to was growing. The large mansion that she sat in was only made for the women. Arth has been with her over thousands of years. As she sat there with her deep dark, black hair witch, that had survived through rough times. Everything about her just looked breath takingly and beautiful, but only he knew what she was capable of. She glanced all around her as on the walls there were many carvings. This was something she always did. Arth looked through the dark black walls, as she had written down and drawn all the history. Every good and bad thing that she had predicted for his pack, and ones his Kingdom. Everything she wrote down always came through. He drew it on and wrote it down just that she would never let herself forget the history, and never let anyone else forget that either. His entire life was on those walls. All predicted one by one. And immediately, he walked into the room that she was in. When the women suddenly stopped chanting, opening her green eyes and looking right at the man she knew had many questions for her.
