Forced to marry the Alpha lord

Chapter 31

The atmosphere got a little pleasant and grim at the same time. People did not really know what to do or say, but it was most definitely very beautiful. Whatever was going on. The Queen mother was surprised, but Nori was the happiest person in the world.. Not only was her brother here, but the moment he stepped into the kingdom, he found his mate and that too, someone Nori knew. She couldn't help but think all of this was meant to happen.

"Go to him." Evi said, wanting for Genie to meet her mate. However, even though Genie was in shock, she started to make her way on the stairs and was walking slowly. Making her way through quickly. However, Robert was doing the very same thing. The man was completely star struck and it was very understandable.

And the people around him were also delighted. However, quickly Genie started to walk ahead,trying to get to him when suddenly a guard stopped her right there. Placing a sword right in front of Genie.

"Ahhhh..."A sharp pain went through. When the sword touched her hand, causing a large bleed on it. Suddenly and abruptly, she was stopped and completely taking her off guard.

"What is coming on?" Evi asked and Nori let out a small gasp.

"Oh no..." She said, to her husband.

How ever, right at that moment, suddenly there came a very dangerously loud roar.

"GRRRRR.." Completely taking any one of guard. But it was the roar of threat given. And that is when Evelet understood that it was Robert growling at the man for stopping his mate and hurting her. Anger was getting in to him and quickly, without any warning or so, not even seeing these people were his people as well. Robert quickly started to run up and with a blink of an eye the man quickly shifted. As he jumped in the air, and his armour ripped into pieces as it fell down to the ground. Making a loud noise. And he had shifted himself into a grey wolf. Just the thought of these people not letting her go brought such an anger out of him and at that moment the queen was reminded of how she had met Barka. And the first time, he too had attacked, not seeing where he was. But Evi knew this was not going to end well.

Immediately worried about the guards who were doing their jobs. At the same time, the chief of the army was her best friend's mate. Everyone's life was important to Evi, and without any warning she immediately then ran down the stairs.

"No don't go......" Santo let out, but Evi wasn't listening. She started to run towards Robert.

"Stop, don't do this." She said to him, but Robert quickly jumped right above the queen and immediately slammed himself to the guard in a very painful and swift movement. And sending him far away from where he was.. And now the guard was on the ground, his head first hit the ground.

He too quickly turned into a wolf, as an instant. But did not want to attack his chief.

Every one were trying to stop this, and most of them panicked.

"Oh my god. No.." Genie said almost immediately, freaking out as she had never. Because this was all going through so fast and it was all a big mess as well. And right at that moment, Robert ran up to the guard, immediately tackling him down and both of them growled and screaming. Robert was trying to hurt him, but the wolf wasn't fighting back. How ever, it was trying to protect himself.

Santo, on the other hand, he too quickly shifted himself as well. Knowing that he had to stop this large fight, and right at that moment, Santo slammed his body on to Roberts wolf, pushing him away from the man and growling at Robert.

"Stop now." Santo's wolf said.

The guard started to back away, not wanting to continue on. But Robert and Santo were still standing face to face, growling and angry.

"Oh my...." Nori, on the other hand, was so upset and scared because they both were her family and for the first time they both were standing in front of each other, just ready to kill and fight. If that was what it needed. Robert was growling at him to back off. He wanted that man who had hurt his mate. Still being able to smell the blood on Genie hand.

He then slowly looked at Genie, realizing what was going on.

It was one of the most brutal situations and she was standing there looking at him. And that only got him even more furious and, without any warning or so, he started to reach forward. Sprinting at his brother-in-law, his brother for a very long time.

"No........" Nori screams, knowing this was going to destroy everything for Nori and Evi could not let that happen.

With a blink of an eye, the queen immediately ran up to them. She too, sprinting and with all of her will, quickly she stood right in front of Santo. Holding the dog by his shoulder.

"Ahhhh...

" She let out, as he was large, stronger and he was growling, trying to move. But something happened inside of Evelet. Something so rigid and strong.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh..... nnooooo." She screams her lungs out yet again, putting in a large amount of power in them, and immediately with all of strength. Evi pushed him back and so harsh and so far away that the wolf landed on his back, and he was in pain. Rolling over and over again, finally he came to a stop. But at a far corner.

"ENOUGH." Evi said, screaming at them and looking at both the men. Realising the blood bath that this was going to be. She only honestly hoped that they wouldn't hurt each other, but there was no other way. People were stunned to see this. How ever, the wolf immediately calmed down. Because this was the first time he looked at his queen, first time glancing away from his mate. He was very close to attacking and almost hurting Evi and he knew that. How ever Santo was ashamed as well.

Slowly he backing away from the queen. As Nori quickly walked up to her husband, placing her hand on his fur, stroking him softly and trying to calm him down. However, the wolf right in front of her slowly got up.. Slightly hurt by the massive power that the queen had used on him.

Of course, people were completely taking a back. He was a very strong warrior and the Queen put in so much power to shove him away. They were all fascinated by her strength.

Robert started to make his way towards his queen, not looking into her eyes any more.

"Evi, please."

How ever, Genie immediately called out to her best friend, not to hurt her mate. Although as those words came out of her, Evi couldn't help but actually calm down as well. Because it was not her intent to hurt any one, but to stop this.

And write there and then, the wolf that was standing in front of her slowly started to bow down. Giving her the respect that Evi needed.

Or what he should have given her a long time ago. But it was the mistake he was asking forgiveness for. How ever, right at that moment, everything settled down. People around them had started to breathe better, because this could have ended horribly wrong if she wouldn't have interfered.. But the queen completely understood him.

"Stand up." She said to him and that is exactly what the wolf did. Looking at his queen properly this time.

How ever slowly, Genie made her way towards him, never taking her eyes off of him and neither did he. Slowly then, he moved away, starting in front of his mate. And looking down at her hand that still had a large cut but it was healing. He then slowly rubbed his forehead on her chest. Trying to help her calm down because her heart was beating so fast. Genie was immediately in tears at that very second, thinking how she could have lost him right before she found him. Everything was solved, some damage was done.

EVELET...." Instantly Barka's voice came from right behind her, she was stunned actually. And quickly Evi turned around to see the Alpha lord. Not only did he look upset but his expression seemed a bit more extremely dangerous. He was staring at her, and she could not understand why his screamed at her. But instantly, his eyes landed on her shoulder and slowly she too and everyone else looked, only to see how her shoulder was bleeding, leaking down from her shoulder to her hand. She did not even notice that or feel that, completely afraid for Robert at this time.

And the Alpha king was staring at him.

"How dare you touch her? How dare you ATTACK HER?" He asked, walking up and faster towards Robert and yet again, Nori was about to lose her mind right there and then. But this was not something she wanted either. Immediately she stood in front of him, stopping him. Placing her hands on his shoulder, she stopped him.

"Please bark no... it was not his fault. It was a misunderstanding." She let out, but it seemed as if he was not listening to her at all.

"He hurt you .." He said, huffing in anger.

" But he did not mean to attack me, it was a mistake." She said, trying to stop him, but he was so much stronger and she was so tired now. Right then Barka slowly glanced away from Robert, and looked back at his mate. He was so pissed off.

"What were you thinking?" He asked her, whispering, but there was such a deadly painful tone in his voice. It was almost as if he was feeling pain for her and there was this extreme anger, more over a disappointment and fear that was seen in his eyes towards her. But his voice was something else. There was such suffering in it.

"Let him go Barka, please. He did not mean it......." She said, but he stopped her immediately.

"And he could have killed you," He said, reminding her again. And this put a frown on her face.

"And do you honestly think it will be easily to kill me? Don't you think he would have done that a long time ago. issac was right there to do it." She said, putting some sense into him and reminding him of some things as well. At this moment, he was huffing out loud. Not because she was back answering him. Barka was very used to it, and used to the way that she talked to him. The way that she was angry with him.

Although, what he wasn't used to was her being in pain and suffering. Immediately, without any warning or so, he wrapped on to her arm that was bleeding, and dragged her out of there. Pushing past a lot of people, and surprising everyone. And even the queen mother herself was stunned to see this.

Although, Evi was angry and afraid now. She had never seen this side of him.

"What are you doing?" She asked, as he was dragging her into the castle by her arm. And of course she wasn't hurt and he was trying to block the blood from pouring out. But the way he was pulling her was also scaring her at the same time. Making the queen angry as well.

"Let me go, I can walk." She said to him, trying to pull out but she was not done there.

"Stop talking." He said to her, not once looking at her. As he was dragging her up the stairs. How ever with his long legs he was fast and she had to literally run to catch up with him.

"What are you doing?" She asked, as he pulled her towards the room. And once, they were in front of the doo. He literally pushed the doors so hard, making them land on the walls behind her, slamming them. And quickly dragged her into the bedroom. Almost making her fall back.

"You are going to hurt me?" She said and right then was the time he finally lost his temper.

"I said stop TALKING." He screams at her, slamming her back on the pillar and yelling right on her face. Making Evi feel so scared of him for the very first time. And scared her that way that she backed away from him. The deadly stare of a mad man that was in his eyes was so disturbing and dangerous that she was actually afraid of her mate.

For the very first time in her life, there was the animal that he had trapped in himself for so long and it was finally out. Her heart going faster and beating at an immense pace. But her breath was seriously caught on her chest. He was holding her steady with both his hands on her arms and they were so close to each other that their chests were touching.

"Do you have any idea what could have happened if his claws were one inch away from you?" He asks, losing his senses now.

"He could have cut you, he could have took your head off and he could have killed you right there and then. " He said, not sounding nice anymore like he did in the morning. But now he was upset, forcing her to under stand what she was getting into.

"And you honestly think I was going to let that happen? She whispered, afraid to speak to him and at a time like this. But he wanted to. he was done now.

"That is not what I am talking about." The Alpha lord said, immediately slamming his first on the pillar behind her, and breaking a small piece of it out as it landed on the ground and was smashing into smaller pieces. Evi shut her eyes almost immediately.

"What are you doing Barka, stop it." She whispered, looking up at the king and facing him.

"What the f*** are you doing? WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?" He screams back at her, and anger seeping out of his body this time.

"What made you think to do that ? There were thousands of people to protect each other and why did you have to go in between them? WHY DID YOU DO THAT?" He screams at her, but now she knew she could not back away.

"So that I could protect them, protect my people. I am their queen and I am not going to stand by and let them suffer. And even if it hurts me. " She said, not stopping this time.

"But that is what I do not want from you, JUST STOP DOING IT." He screamed even louder and now scaring her even more so that she panic , and placed her hand on her chest. No idea why, but she just wanted some sort of comfort.

"This is what I did not want." He let out, as her breath heated hard on her.

"My wolf is suffering because of your judgement today. It's in pain knowing that you could have killed yourself and he could have killed you." He said, showing her the deep cut that her hand had

"You never once think about yourself, you are the queen and people need you." He let out.

"Exactly............." She said, stopping him right there and then and looking deep into his eyes. Letting him know how he was wrong here in his mind, while speaking the right thing.

"You are right, they need me and they needed me right now. And just because you are afraid that it might end me, that is not my problem, Barka. I have a responsibility, right? and I am going to take it whether you like it or not. I don't care if you get angry with me. If I have to save my people, I will do it and if that kills me, so be it."She said, and immediately he growled at her. Getting closer than ever. But right there and then, Barka shut his eyes. Stopping himself, and stopping everything that was burning in him.

The Alpha lord was now breathing and so heavy in his feelings. And it was as if his breath was going to skip through.

Slowly he held the pillars behind her, trapping her there as he placed his head on hers. The Alpha King's eyes were still closed, while his breath was getting caught. And going back to how it should be.

"I didn't do it because I wanted to be heroic, Barka. I couldn't stop myself and so you too don't stop me from doing what I have to do. I am not the one you should be angry." She said, actually speaking with power.

"Then tell me, who I should be angry with?" He said, never once backing away from her.

"It should be you. Be angry at yourself for being this way." She said, and now forcing him to back away. And even though he did not want to, but he looked at her, facing her. And understand what she was made of.

"Why do you keep doing this to me?" He asked.

"What do I keep doing? " This time she had a question, and was confused by his statement. How ever, the Alpha lord looked deep into her eyes. Honestly, thinking how he should even say this to her. He was angry about how she made him scared for her life all the time. Angry about how he was worried about her. Being angry that even if a small part of her had a cut, he would destroy the world and she was doing all of this to him. But the Alpah Lord couldn't say that out loud. Even if he wanted to. And the most hardest thing for Barka in this world was not being able to speak what he actually had in his mind.

This was the first time in his life that he was trapped this way.. Because he was always very verbal to each and every part of his life, to each and every person in his life, but not her.

He backed away from her, turning around and placing his hand on his face. As he pushed his hair away. Trying to breathe. How ever, it was not that simple for her to breathe. She was having a hard time doing any of that, but her breath was out, finally. Slightly a little shaky. But clear..............
