Chapter 29

Within no time, she had completely changed to her white dress that went under her knees, slightly opened in the back. Evi was comfortable with this, it wasn't so bad and she could move around. By now Evi was putting on her shoes and immediately turned around to say Barka was comfortable as well and his hair slightly wet, but most of them were dry. However, Barka couldn't help but look at his mate up and down, not trying to be irritating about it, but something about her just made him feel so different in his heart. He was feeling many things but something he had never felt before, strange as it was. "We should go." He said, throwing the towel on a chair and she nodded her head. Quickly then, he opened up the door for her and she walked out, while he followed right behind her. And at that instant the new king and queen made their way out of the castle. There were multiple cars yet again waiting patiently as the luggage was being put inside of it. Of course, people were a little upset about the fact that they had to go, but yet it was a bitter sweet moment now, although right now, it was just bitter. Slowly, then she walked out as Barka was talking to her father and mother while the queen mother was talking to Genie. Evi then walked up to her best friend, ready to hug her and let her go. Only to notice that she was there with nothing on her, this confused her the most. "What happened? Where are your things?" She asked, and the queen mother smiled. "I have invited Genie to stay with us for sometime, until things settle down. I thought a friend here with you could help you and, at the same time, she is a physician as well. She could help us with our army and take care of everyone that would be here tomorrow." The Queen mother said and this shocked Evi. "They will be here tomorrow ?" She let out, surprised as it was, and this was a brilliant idea as well. The queen mother honestly did make her the happiest person in the world, and now having her best friend here with her would mean the world to Evi. "You like it....... this?" The Queen mother asked her and she immediately nodded her head. "I love it, thank you so much.." She let out, so happy to have her here. "I am very glad," The queen mother said, placing her hand on Evi's face and then walking away from there to say her good bye to the people, happy that they had stayed here in the castle. 'How did you even convince Queen mother?" Evi asked and she shook her head. "I did not, we were talking and then I told her about my job and then she just wanted me to be there with you for sometime. I couldn't say no and disagree with the queen mother. What do I say, no to her?" She asked and of course, Evi shook her head. Chuckling softly. "Of course not, but also there is one thing." Genie said, gaining her attention. "What is it?" The queen asked. "There is something that is making me stay here. I don't know what it is, but my wolf is panicking as I was leaving and angry at me. She is never angry at me. So I just wanted to see what happened. She let out, confusing her but never the less, Evi was understanding that some times wolves can be very mean. How ever Flower did not like that statement one bit. Never the less, immediately she saw her father and mother walking down and she rushed to them. Giving him a tight hug. "Call me anytime you want, do you understand me?" He said, patting her face softly and kissing her hair and she simply nodded her head. "I love you dad." She whispered when Barka came into the corner giving him a hand shake and the man stood by his mate, while her father quickly walked out. Her mother then came and stood right in between Barka and Evi. "I just wanted to say that you both are in this together, and things might look unpleasant at the moment because I can clearly understand you both did not want any of this. But now it's time to move forward." She said, looking at the king and queen. "Do better by each other and stay together. This Kingdom needs you both." She said Barka nodded slowly. He was very good at listening to people and more over understanding them as well. And he did understand that she was a very smart woman, more over a luna after all. "Have a safe trip back home." He said to her politely, while River pulled her daughter into a tight hug. "I love you honey, and what ever happens don't be afraid. You have the moon godless with you." She whispered, surprising her daughter, as Evi clearly did not really understand why she would say something like that. Making her feel like everything was every one and every where there was trouble. Never the less, her mother backed up, kissing her forehead and turning around, getting into the car with her husband. And right there, it was done and everyone had left. She saw, as the cars had started to move away from her and now getting out of there, leaving her there yet again all alone. But this time there was a difference. She was with her King and a new family that she had gotten used to very much so. And her best friend, who had stayed behind, with a Kingdom who loved her. Some how it all did not look as bad as before to Evi. Her family working out of there was strange and different and painful to watch. Never the less, she felt brave, but right there she saw how the gates of the castle started to close on her, and completely shut entirely. The noise could be heard very well. Her family had left her finally, and this day, the crowning everything that was so much hope was all over. And right then Evi let out a short breath, as a lot of stress was out of her. Barka too was feeling her distress yet again, something he absolutely hated in her and for her to experience. "Let's go inside." He said to her, and slowly she nodded her head, understanding that this was her home now and forever from now on. She was some how okay with that. ................................................................................................................................................................................................. Once again, inside of the room, they both all alone. Barka was still outside of the room while she, on the other hand, was in the washroom. Evi was all dressed up in her shorts and t-shirt and her face still wet because of how she was throwing water on herself, realising that this was it. She was so afraid to go out there and sleep, not that he was going to do anything to her but she just did not understand what would happen out there and all alone with him. "It's okay, you are a strong queen and you can do that. He has not forced himself on you and he is not going to do it ever. That was not like him." She said to her self, although that was not even her main concern either. She knew he wouldn't hurt her at all. Evi was sure of that. But it was just something with him and sleeping on the same bed, was what got her to feel this way. Not wanting to over think about it, but she could not even help herself. But right then she started to wipe her face, threw the towel back on the sink and stared at herself for a little longer while her body was shaking forward and back, forward and back and it was just so weird for her. Whatever was going on was weird for her. "Get out of here, you got this. You are tired, go to sleep." She said to herself, nodding her head as her hair was quickly fussing up. She moved back, taking in a deep breath and holding on to the handle of the door and quickly she opened the door wide. Knowing that was the right thing to do. And right as she walked out, she noticed that all the windows and doors of the balcony were completely open and it was surprising to her because that was not how she saw it all. The fresh air was flowing in and the dark blue curtains were being pushed into the room because of the cold breeze out there. That was when she noticed that Barka was actually standing right outside on the balcony and he was calmly staring out at his paper. His mind and soul were calm and that was something she thought was very strange to see him this way and mostly see him at night. Because normally she would see him in the morning, but nevertheless, she climbed on to the bed that was way bigger than hers and Evi just wanted to go to sleep right there and right now. All this ends for once. And now she was on her right side, not wanting to sleep by the door. She the sat down on the bed while her eyes were on him and, only his movements. Pulling the covers over her stomach. And that was when suddenly, Barka turned back, walking into the room and there he saw her already in bed, but the man did not react to it much. "I want to sleep over here, right side." She said to him, and the only thing he did was nod his head, not really paying attention to her. How ever Barka though, he suddenly started to take off his shirt and right then Evi's eyes went wide open in horror. "Oh my God, what are you doing?" She asked. "I cannot sleep with my shirt on." He said to her. How ever, she couldn't help but look at him up and down. Realising what a piece of marvel that he was, but immediately shut her thoughts, which came up, harder than it should. However, throwing his shirt over the chair, he started to make his way towards her and this time, as he got closer to her, she immediately laid her body down on the bed, just letting it fall. He noticed that and how she was acting a bit strange with him. However, he could actually understand why she was doing so and slowly he climbed on to the bed, wanting to relax himself. He lay there and his heat seriously pouring right past her. For that few seconds or so, nobody said anything and it was not so bad, that. But she was simply staring up at the ceiling and at the carving up here. It was slightly different than the one in her room, which was no longer her room though. Everything about this was giving her a panic attack, but it wasn't so bad either. This was confusing her. Although, his presence was also making her feel a bit better, never the less, she slowly opened her mouth now. Although, Evi knew that she wouldn't be able to sleep, at least she wanted to talk to him. "Is all of this strange for you too?" She immediately asked him what was in her mind. And as she spoke up, slowly gaining some courage, Evi started turning towards his direction, only to see that his eyes were staring up as well. And he had his hands behind his head, while his chest completely showing.. "I never expected to have a made.. So yes, this is a bit strange for me as well." He said, surprising her. "But don't worry, I am not coming to touch you if that's what you are thinking." He said, like he knew her. However, it was very hard and heart breaking for him to say that to her, and heart breaking for Evi to hear that as well. But also that is something that she wanted as well. "I hope you don't snore at night............." "I am a lady, I do not snore." She said almost immediately. Never expecting for him to say any of that to her. Making him chuckle softly. And right then very quickly he shut his eyes and she did the very same thing. She was too so tired that her body was giving away, and no longer was any sort of uncomfortableness surrounding her. What was going to keep her awake did not exist any more. However, right there and then, as she shut her eyes. Evi started to drift away, her body starting to lossen up and she was out cold. Completely relaxed and extremely warm in her cover that she had pulled to her chest. Everything about it made her feel calm and collected and it seemed like she was actually enjoying this sleep and especially with a stranger she had met very recently. How ever, Barka was not there yet. Slowly the Alpha lord opened his eyes, and turned towards his mate, completely shifting and facing her while watching how her hair was falling on to her face. And she looked exhausted to him. Slowly, she glanced at her every feature, knowing he could not do this when she would be awake. But now here she was, quite for once and not screaming at him and not crying because of him either. Slowly, then he moved his hand forward, and touched her hair, pushing it out of the way and behind her ears. And all this only so he saw see her properly. She was so soft in his touch that he did not want to move, but he promised her that he would not touch her, and so Barka forced his hand away from her and stayed there for some more time. Watching that was gifted to him, or that was what his mother used to say about mates. And she was his, from now on. Those were the words he knew he would have never said before. He could not but Evelet, something about her was making him say all this. He was baffled at what this was between them. Although, he did not want this in his life, but for the first time, he felt as if this was the right decision he had made. She was everything a queen should be and more, not meeting her would have been the hardest thing in the world and the thought that she might have died, was killing him on the inside. But right now, having her so close to him, he felt as if he was in heaven. Something he hasn't felt for a very long time. Living in guilt and anger for so long, he did not even remember what happiness felt like. However, he was noticing how Evi was breathing steadily and sleeping with a pout on her lips. Something never changes and he loved that. This time his eyes were too shut, Barka was slowly drifting away as well and inviting sleep to come over him. Which, for the first time in his life, came in so easily. He could never sleep, but now he wanted to. Barka knew that it was her presence that was making him do all this, and he invited it. Falling asleep as the light of the moon started to fall on to them and around them. While a nice cold wind went by the foot of the bed. Both the king and queen relaxed for once and with each other. Close to each other too.. Something none of them expected to have ever in this lifetime. But here it was, unpredictable but possible. ............................................................................................................................................................................................................... However, on a different part of the castle and the entire Kingdom. Night was still falling and Arth was standing out in the open, looking up at the moon and watching as it was soon to be a full moon. A smile grew on his face as he knew something was coming up, something that he could feel and something that involved the beautiful queen. "It is done, Alpha." A man said from behind him, forcing him to turn around and slowly walked in to the room. Pushing the flying curtains away from his face as he made his way towards the art that stood right in front of him. The artist who made it walked away, leaving Isaac and Arth there all alone. "So this is her?" Arth asked, looking at the beauty that she was and how her hair looked, especially her eyes and everything about her was breath taking. "I would prefer you don't fall for her." Isaac said, getting up and walking away, not wanting to look at her face anymore. Arth couldn't listen to him, not wanting to because the sketch made of her was too breath taking. Slowly tracing his hand on the beauty that she was, he wanted to hold her, wanted to touch her. Wanting for her to be with him. "Every good thing always happens to Barka. It has always been this way and even now he gets her. He gets a queen and someone so beautiful." He said, honestly believing his own words because he had not seen anyone like her before. The most breath taking as she was, the most powerful as she was and everything about her was strength. "I want her." He said, and quickly Isaac turned towards him, knowing exactly what he meant. "I want to make her my Luna." He said, "But she is his queen," Issac let out. "It does not matter. Once I kill him, I have her anyways." Arth said. "It is not going to be easy to kill the king," Issac said, and he nodded his head. "Yes, but all I have to do is make him weak." He she whispered, while never taking his eyes off of her. Arth honestly couldn't even if you wanted to. There was a strange karizmathic pull. "She is his weakness now, and all we have to do his make her weak and once the queen falls, it will not take much time for the king to fall and everything will go to place. How it should be." He said, and this was something that went right over Isaac's head. "What are you talking about? how are you going to make her weak?" He asked a question, not understanding where he was going with this. How ever, the Alpha smiled to him self. "There is a lot in this world that people care about, and if there is something they care about, that means that could be used against them. I want her at any cost and I will have her one way or another. No one can stop me and no one has the power. My goal in this life is to defeat Barka and I will do it, tear him into pieces and his reign. But before that, I have to get to her." He said, as Issac, on the other hand, glanced back at the picture that he was so in love with once before. But now he couldn't look at her anymore. Quickly he started to make his way out of there, leaving him with whatever plan he had. "I don't care what happens to her, I just want the king dead." He said, glancing back at him one last time, and telling him what the deal was. "You can go ahead and make her your queen, or your Luna. I don't matter anymore to her. She doesn't matter to me." He let out, telling him what he truly felt from the inside and that was enough for the Alpha. Softly he nodded his head as Isaac got out of there, closing the door behind him with a loud thud, and it was at that moment that Arth glanced back at the beauty. Smiling softly and not being able to imagine her in any other way. But only wished to see her in flesh and blood. And he knew exactly what he had to do. Arth knew exactly who he had to go meet and to make this possible just so he could see her once with his own eyes. Touch her with his own skin and feel the power that she was. Be with her.
