Of course, the celebration was done. People enjoyed it as the night slowly started to come up. How ever, now officially Evelet was their Queen and she was busy now. Evi had a lot of meetings that she had to do, meet multiple alpha's and Luna's. Meeting people she had never seen before in her entire life and now they were her own people as well. That was a lot of work for Evi. This being the first time but she loved doing this, and without any trouble or so, she was standing prouder than ever, knowing that she was the queen of the kingdom now. How ever, the queen mother couldn't honestly stop but introducing her to every single person there. She wanted Evi to know people that were important to the Kingdom as well. "It was nice to meet you my Queen." one of the lunas said as she nodded her head and Queen mother and the queen walked away from there as gracefully as ever. "Are you tired Evi?" The queen mother asked and she shook her head. "Not at all." Evi let out. However slowly, her legs were feeling a slight pain from her heels that she had on for so long, and the Queen mother noticed that.. "I honestly have a problem with you lying to me my Queen, I know all of this can be hard at first." The Queen mother said, giving her the almost respect that Evi did required. How ever, on the other hand, she smiled at her, half huffing and glancing at her family who were talking and also getting to know more and more people. Everyone was extremely respectful to them as well, and more over because they were the alpha and Luna of one of the most powerful packs in the kingdom, but also now because their daughter was now the queen. "You got rest for a while, and be with your family. You have met more than enough people today. We can catch on to this tomorrow or some other time. You go back to your family, Evi." The Queen mother let out, and this brought a big smile on her face, more than happy to do that. Smiling softly, she turned around, walking up to her parents, who were now alone and in a bit of an isolated place. Her mother and father looked at her and were just confused. "What happened to your crown?" They asked. "My head was hurting, so I took it off. I don't have to wear it all the time." She said, how ever slowly, her father smiled softly at Evi, and pulled her close to his chest, simply holding her there for sometime. It was such a beautiful moment, something that everyone wanted to cherish. River, on the other hand, she stood by, simply watching the whole thing right in front of her eyes. But at this moment she couldn't help but think that maybe she should tell her daughter something that was the truth of the family and something she had been hiding for so long. It was killing her to keep it inside of her for so long, keeping her in the dark was one of the toughest things River had ever done with her daughter. But she did not know if she wanted to screw this amazing moment up for both father and daughter. "You are going to be an amazing Queen, Evi. I trust you." He said, and she quickly held on to him tightly, hoping that was the truth. However, right at that moment, Barka also walked up, talking to someone while standing closer to her. Her was in his conversation but unknowingly, he was keeping himself close to Evelet, protecting her and it was just something his body made him do. "You know..." Her father whispered. "Hmmmm......" As she hummed softly. "When you were born, the first time that I held you, you were not breathing." He said, however the Queen clearly remembered the story very well, multiple people had said this to her. But except for her on parents, as it was very difficult for them to even speak about this, but even they knew that she had no knowledge about her birth. About how she was born dead. However, River glanced at her husband, a little worried to be talking about this right now, but they were slightly far away from the crowd and in their own space They were alone and that was enough. And he wanted to talk to his daughter and so River let it happen, not interfering with that. How ever, the Alpha lord, on the other hand, he was immediately stunned to even know this about her. His years completely shifted as he slightly looked at his mate, realizing what had just happened, as he heard that, something shifted inside of Barka, when he understood that she could have never existed at all and that made him sick to his stomach. "Your mother was crying." He whispered, and River actually got a little emotional there, placing her hand on her mouth and trying to compose herself. Still remember that night very well. He let out "We wanted a daughter and we did get you, but you wouldn't cry, wouldn't move, wouldn't make any sound and everything inside of me was breaking. I have never been that angry in my life and at anyone in my life and at that small little girl in my hand, I was angry at her, begging her to open her eyes and stop playing." He said and it was difficult for Evi to hear all this. Painful that her family went through all this and all alone. "Everyone were upset, and the whole pack was mourning for you, but everyone said the worst thing was that I actually believed it. Screaming at everything, still holding you tight, I just wanted to run away with you not let anyone hold you." He let her know, as he speaking about it was the most hardest thing ever for both of them. But at this moment, they reality was that, Evi understood that she knew very little about her birth. This was a detail nobody ever said to her and she was very glad that they did not. Because hearing this from someone else and other than her father would have been the most painful thing for her. "What happened then?" She asked, pulling away and looking at him. Only to see the man was breaking in front of her. "And then a miracle happened. The miracle that your mother truly wished for. She was the only person who believed that you were not dead and her belief made you come back. And you were with us, breathing, screaming, alive. "And crying." River said, making her turn to her mother. "All the time, you never stopped and there was not one time you did not cry. While eating, while dressing, sleeping and in your bath. But we were very happy." River let out. "Hearing your voice made us very happy." He said to Evi, holding her even close to him. "Why didn't you say this to me before? You could have talked about it." She said. "I think we could do it.It was death to this family, and we don't ever want to feel that death ever again." He said, and for once actually Evi understood what he was talking about. She had felt her own death so close to her and so it with her own eyes as well. It was so close to taking everything from her and she too could clearly understand them. How ever, Barka on the other hand, he stood there. Watching and listening. It was difficult for him to consume the reality, but at this moment he was also feeling anger inside of him. Something he had no idea why, but he was so angry about her past. River, on the other hand, she glanced at her husband, asking if they should tell her one more thing, but immediately he shook his head. "Not now.." His wolf said to her wolf, and even though this was wrong of them, she completely understood. But something suddenly happened, a strange scent started to form around all of them. Quickly, then everyone were alert, but except for the people of the kingdom. While most of them who came from far away places could scent. "Vampires.." River whispered as Evi's father quickly stood right in front of his daughter and wife, trying to protect them. How ever, it was Saraam and he was walking up to Barka. The Alpha lord looked at his mate, making eye contact with her, and telling her to calm down. "Evelet, he is of no threat to us." He informed this to her, and first to her before anyone else. Evi slowly nodded her head, because she believed him. And right there and then the vampire King walked up, with a big smile on his face. Of course, a few more people were terrified, but not all of them, knowing him very well. How ever, right at that moment. "Barka, congratulations." Saraam said, shaking his hand and looking behind to see the Queen who was standing there very gracefully. How ever, the vampire King could very well see the fear that she had in those eyes. It was something he could have predicted. "I am guessing, she has never seen a vampire before? I did not mean to startle your mate. But as old companions, I wanted to come and congratulate you both." He said, and slowly right then Evi, she started to make her way towards the Vampire King. Not wanting to be in fear of him. Her mate trusted him and she does too. Slowly she then walked up, standing right next to Barka as she looked up, meeting his eyes and back at this man. "My queen." He said, slowly taking his hand in her and she felt his hand was so cold. "I do apologize for not meeting you earlier." He said and she softly smiled. "My pack hasn't seen a lot of vampires in their life." Evi said, speaking courageously and that brought a smile on Barka's face. "I can understand." He let out, and he looked at Barka and then glanced down at his hand that was still holding her. The Alpha Lord growled. Slowly, then Saraam smiled at him and let her hand go. "My sister will be here by tomorrow Barka, I honestly hope you can help me." He said. "Everything is set up. You don't have to worry about a thing, Anya will be very safe here." He said, confusing Evi as she looked up at Barka, wanting an explanation. Surprised to know that a vampire was going to stay here. But never the less, the man nodded his head and was delighted by the news. "Will see you soon Barka, my Queen." Saraam said, turned around making his way back with a few guards that he had come with. "What was that all about?" Evi asked him, a little taken a back by all of this. How ever, the King on the other hand, he glanced at her looking how she looked a little pink and her legs were constantly moving like she was trying to adjust to it.. "Are you okay?" He asked, feeling that she was in stress, and not just because of the vampire. "Have you eaten anything?" He asked. "Who is Anya?" She asked almost immediately and wanted to know what was going on. He did not know if this was the right time to say and there were a lot of people here "She is a friend of mine." He said. "A vampire friend?" She asked. "See, I am not trying to judge you or anything, but it's new to me and you have to understand that." She said, of course he clearly understood. "Are you jealous?" He asked her, actually smirking at her and that was something she did not see coming. "I am not jealous of anyone." She let out, mad as hell and quickly she turned away wanting to get out of there. But suddenly her heel tripped and she twisted her ankle. "Oh my god." She said as her eyes went wide open, and so completely taken a back by what just happened. Her legs were in pain. However, Barka then quickly grabbed her. "No I am fine." She said, pushing him away and actually limping her way out of there. Knowing she had to go change into some normal clothes to bid her family good bye. However, Barka stood there, clenching his job as he walked behind her seeing how she was holding on to the dress, making her way back to the castle and doing all this while in pain. "Honestly, are you ever going to stop being stubborn ?." He said, frustrated. "You are the reason I am so stubborn, you do all these things to me." She said completely upset with the way he was. How ever, he noticed how she was in pain, and dragging herself out of there. "Evi, let me help." He said and she shook her head. "I know you will help me and then start getting angry with me, that as has happened too many time." She said, walking away and only creating most distress for him. How ever, right then there was a sharp pain as she placed her leg on the ground. "Ahhh fuck.." She let out a small scream, and a very thin one and that is enough for him. "This is it...." He said under his breath and quickly grabbed on to her arm, pulling her behind and back to him and forcing her to slam her chest on to his chest and so harsh as possible, so painful. "Huuhhh..." She gasped, as their chests collided, feeling his heart beating on her, but mostly it was how he was staring down at her. "For once in your life listen to someone, " Barka muttered under his breath, making her shiver in fear. He then slowly let go of her because for the first time ever she had nothing to say to him. And her chest was going up and down in pure panic, and she tried to compose herself. Never taking his eyes off of her. Slowly, he bent down placing his hand behind her back and under her legs and Barka then immediately picked her up into his strong arms, holding her there for a few seconds. She had no idea what just happened, but she did not want to let go of him. How ever he stood there smirking at her softly. "I like it when you don't speak. The quiet is nice." He said to her and this time she was out of her trance, giving him an uncomfortable stare. Quickly then he started to make his way away from there, as she looked somewhere else. Not wanting to make eye contact. "Hold me tight." He whispers softly, walking into the castle. "I am very comfortable as I am.." She said, muttering under her breath, but right there and then immediately Barka shuffled her little in his grip. "What the......." She said, freaked out and he was scaring the living s**t out of her. "Are you kidding with me?. I could have fallen." She said a little panicked, and his slowly smirked at her, that was getting even louder. "I told you to hold me, don't blame me if you fall." He said as she stared at him in pure disbelief. How ever he was about to do it yet again, but quickly she grabbed on to him, wrapping her arms around his neck tightly. Not wanting to feel that again. Nevertheless, that made him chuckle softly. However, in no time, they both went up to the corridor of their bedrooms and right then, without making a left turn, Barka made a right turn and this got her off guard. Her eyes went wide open. "Where are we going?" She asked. "To our room." He said, like it was nothing and that was when it hit her. They both would have to stay together and it was not something she could back out of. It was an order from the queen mother. How ever quickly she pushed his door open and he walked in, entering this dark, cold room that was nothing like the one she had. How ever, it looked familiar to her as the architecture was very similar to what she had. But this was just so grim. This room represented him perfectly well. "Everything here is just like you." She let out, looking up at the chandelier that was the only thing burning. How ever he then slowly placed her down on the bed that was more than comfortable. It was a delighting. And he then started to take off her heels. "What are you doing?" She asked, and Barrka stopped right there, looking up at her. "Helping you." He said. "Since when do you help me?" She questioned out of no where as the man stared at her. And those words actually got him to thinking. She was right. He had no idea why he was doing any of this for her. He wanted none of this in his life, a pure distraction was spread on him. He knew he was doing what was best for her. But slowly he looked down, seeing how her ankle had gone slightly red. "You are going to be okay." He said and she nodded her head. As he got up, walking away from her. "Go change into something comfortable, your parents will be leaving in sometime." He let out, making his way towards the bathroom while at the same time throwing his coat on the chair. She gave him a completely strange look. "But what about my luggage? My clothes?" She asked and while going away he pointed towards an immense door that was a walk in closer. She slowly nodded her head, and got up. But before she could do anything, immediately Barca started to unbutton his shirt, as he pulled it out and she for the very first time, saw his naked back. Evi eyes went wide open in shock. Understanding he was getting very comfortable, but it was his room. NO, she thought. It was her room as well. How ever taking off her shoes, slowly she made her way up to the doors that were closed to the balcony. And slowly she unlocked it and pushed the door open, feeling a very cold breeze hitting her face. The night sky was shining on her and Evelet looked down yet again, not walking on the balcony, but from where she was she could see how her people were slowly leaving, as the beautiful day was over. She was now their Queen and he was her King and this was something strange for her. She wasn't sure if things would go perfectly fine, but because up until now things were different, but she was optimistic. Slowly she looked up at the moon. It would be a full moon very soon, a few days left. And some how she couldn't help feel as if something was coming for her. A feeling of something rushing towards her and it felt weird. She wasn't sure if she was ready for it.
