Chapter 23

Immediately, Evi was out in the open. Outside of the castle and the gates of the castle as well. Her eyes were storming here and there as she was trying to see where that noise was coming from. It was a girl screaming in pain, and so she was staring here and there, looking and trying to figure out where that noise was coming from. How ever, right at that moment, in a very swift way moved out a brown wolf, completely sprinting right past her. "OOOhhhh.... What?" She muttered, freaked out as the wolf was making his way towards the scream as well. She knew that it was Barka, and nobody else. She knew that. And this was the first time Evi had ever seen his wolf. The queen couldn't help but understand how to control her feelings right now, because her heart started to pump faster than ever and especially because of the situation and what had happened right at that moment. "AAAHHHHHHHHH......" The scream was coming yet again, but from a different corner she noticed a few of the guards and in their wolf form were rushing out. So she too quickly made a right turn , knowing Barka was right behind her. She did not want to bring out Flower at the moment, realizing that she did not want her to come out in the open yet. Evi had to rest. How ever, in her human form she was stronger as well. Immediately, Evi and Nori started to run out into a more houses area, and right there she saw her people had surrounded a girl, a young girl completely. The poor thing was crawling on the ground in pain and in extreme pain. Everyone were staring at her, seeing her that way. Immediately, Evi stopped on her track and there she saw that Barka was already there and he was circling around her, making sure she was safe and the guards were spread all around, they were pushing the people away. Evi was breathing harshly, huffing and puffing loudly as she watched that poor girl who was sweating through her skin. And right behind Evi, Nori stopped. None of them moved or took a step forward. "She is shifting." Evi said, everyone over there were completely taken a back. Because it was more than surprising, it was a complete shock to them as well. Evi could clearly see how her father and mother were forced to stand away from her, and they were crying in the corner. "She is not going to make it." Nori let out, even though it was difficult for her to say all those words that she said. But it was the truth. "There is no moon to shift. She will not have the help of the moon goddess." Nori said. She had seen something like this before, people shifting in extreme pain, especially in broad day light did not quite survive without the help of the moon goddess. It was honestly the most painful thing for Evi to watch.. "AAAAAAHHHHHH......... NNNOOOOO....." The little girl, a teenager, was screaming again, crying in pain. How ever, Barka was right next to her, slowly rubbing her head towards her leg, and licking her forehead. It was almost as if he was trying to encourage her and to make her strong enough, brave enough to go forward and shift. But her bones were breaking, it was so hard, breaking strong and loud. She was in this all alone. "What about Misi? Can she not help her?" Evi asked Nori, slowly turning around to look at Nori. How ever, Nori had nothing more to say to her at that moment. She looked down, feeling upset. And her silence was more than enough of an answer for Evi. This was the most painful experience of her life, and to see a small girl like this suffer. Suddenly there was another c***k and the girl's hand was breaking backwards. "Huuuhhhh..." "My godd...." "Save her..." People were gasping, seeing how she was crying and her wolf begging to come out while she was resisting. However, right at that moment, something shifted inside of Evelet. She felt a heavenness in her body that she had never felt before, and slowly Evi took a step forward, not knowing what it was but it seemed like the wolf was calling out to his queen. Her Saviour to go to her. "She needs you." Flowers said, speaking up and that was encouragement enough for Evi. She quickly started to move forward. "Where are you going?" Nori asked, but she was in a trance that Evelet couldn't even answer or think or hear anything else other than just look at that girl who was in massive pain and close to her death. Something she wouldn't want even on her enemies. How ever, the queen started to make her way towards her, walking through the crowd. That was the first time Evi had ever stepped foot into her Kingdom with her own people. A few of them turned around, as they noticed her, felt her wind and her power around them. It was so overwhelming and strong. Most of them gasped as their eyes went wide open, backing away to let the queen walk through. She looked at none of them, only the screams and breaking bones and the small whimpering of the wolf that was inside of that girl, begging and pleading to be let out. People around her started to bow down, backing away, and she was right in the circle. At this moment, by her presence, he saw her coming in and Barka was not happy. He growled at her softly, not because he was upset but because knew that, if her wolf, once out, she can be dangerous and Barka did not want his mate to be around something dangerous, deadly and untamed. But as she was in her own bubble, she could not hear him, rather than the moon goddess was talking to her. "Keep going." A voice sad that she had never heard before. It was not Flower, it was not her mind, but she continued on going, watching as the girl was tiring her body apart. Her body never even came close to looking like a human or an animal. She was just this scrambled mess. Immediately, Evi walked up and closer and this time Barka stood there in his large wolf form, the largest wolf she had ever seen.. He was standing right there, right opposite to her. It was the first time she noticed very carefully the size of the largest wolf, the biggest wolf, the tallest, bigger than her. Although, this time Barka was angry with her. Telling her to back away but slowly she sat down on the ground, not listening to him. However, the wolf try to get closer to her. More than upset, she wanted help, and Evi started to place her hand forward, close to that girl when a very dangerous growl came from Barka. "GGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRR." Louder than ever. Pulling her out of the trance now. Evi was blinking her eyes a couple of times, realizing where she was. She was half conscious and not there this entire time. Looking up at her mate, who was upset and very angry, she could see the deadly sight in his eyes. "I can help her." She said, whispering softly and at that moment Barka did not want his mate to be anywhere around this mess. But he couldn't help but believe what she said. "Trust me." She whispered, and his wolf growled yet again and a little bit. But not on her, this was on himself. He was slightly shaking his head, not trying to agree to this. But Evi as always did not listen to him and sat down right next to the crying girl, placing her hand on her forehead. Evelet had no idea why she was doing that, but some how for some unknown reason, that was what she wanted to do. Her mind was telling her something out of the ordinary, it was telling her to do this. Everyone around her was looking at her, mumbling and suddenly from somewhere Nori walked up as well. "Evi please.." She said to her, calling out for her name. But Evelet did not respond. The girl who was so waiting painfully had now turned red, immediately wimping while she turned around to the queen and suddenly she stopped screaming in pain, not even crying. She stopped doing anything. And this surprised everyone, even the King who was present there. However, people backed away, giving their queen some space and the little girl as well. She immediately wrapped her arms around the queen, wanting more help. "It hurts...." She whispered softly and quickly Evi wrapped her arms around her. The girl was feeling a strange warmth around her body, something she had never felt before in her life, and the bones in her body were cracking and all of that was still happening right in front of Barka. He too was stunned to see this, but not understanding how Evelet was even doing this. And right then, at that very movement, suddenly the biggest c***k came from her back bone, breaking it and at that moment the girl's eyes had turned pitch black. Indicating that her wolf was here, and frantically she was moving around. But Evi was holding on to her, helping her with the pain. "I am right here." She said. Something about her being there completely reduced the pain that she was around. The girl felt nothing and the transformation was happening on its own. "Oh my god......." People were whispering softly, and some of them happy, some of them shocked but her family members, her father and mother, they stayed quite. That was when she opened her eyes, and here Evi looked at her, only to see that her wolf was going to be out any time now. And this was not going to be safe to be around a new born. "Let her go Evi.." Nori said, and quickly Barka moved up to his mate, Growling again for her to let go . And that is exactly what she did, letting go of the wolf as she backed away quickly. And in a swift and dangerously quick movement the wolf was out. "GGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR." She was screaming and roaring, finally out in the open. "Huuhhh..." People were completely stunned and, of course afraid. New wolf can be very dangerous. The guard started to push everyone back for their own protection and for hers as well. Right then, the wolf turned, the white wolf turned to her queen. And although Evelet was still on the ground. Evi knew that she could very easily over power the new wolf, but end up hurting her even more so. That was going to be a problem. But she did not want to hurt the wolf. However, right at that moment, Barka moved right in front of his mate, blocking her and growling at the wolf to submit right there and then, to him. Telling it to back away and forcing his head forward. Evi watched all of that right in front of her, surprised that he was even trying to protect her, letting out a low growl. "Dont hurt her." She said, placing her hand on his fur, touching him for the first time. Stopping him and quickly the Alpha Lord turned around, looking at her. Yes, he was angry and he was even furious. He wanted to protect Evelet. But for that one moment he listened to her and slowly moving away from the wolf, but still staying very close to his mate, his body touching her shoulders. Barka was watching the wolf very carefully. How ever, Evelet on the other hand, she sat up straight, looking at the wolf as it stared at her. Still her legs were slightly shaking. "Calm down." Evelet said to her, hoping she would listen and she did. Barka saw the whole thing happening right in front of him and he did not interfere her this time. However, the girl tried calming down as she looked right at her Queen and right into Evi's soul. Almost as if they were communicating, touching while not even touching. It was just one of those beautiful moments. However, slowly she started to understand who she was and it bent down. Something it had have not learnt, but the wolf knew who was her Queen and her King. Seeing that, people were shocked. This was something they had never seen in a lifetime before. They stared at the Queen, at the one who saved one of them from death, from losing someone. They were smiling to themselves, happy that she was here. "All hail our queen........" One of them chanted and everyone went on and on through it. Chanting for the queen. Nori, Barka and Evi looked at everyone, seeing what was happening, because until now they were concentrating on her, forgetting about the people. But the people loved her now more than ever. However, Barka, on the other hand, he turned towards his mate, gaining her attention as she looked at him. Clearly, being able to read through his expression that he was a little angry with her. On the other hand, he felt like this was going to be another long, irritating conversation him him. However, Bark did something unexpected. He bent down for her, towards her. Something Evelet did not understand and confused for a second. But it suddenly came to her that he was trying to help her get up. This surprised her so much so that she stared at him for a few seconds. Never the less, she placed her hand on his back and pull herself up, standing up straight and there she saw that he was looking still bigger than her in his wolf from. He was a king in his true self and form as a wolf. This was more than fascinating to Evi. She did not want to look away from him.. She did not want to move away from him. Although, he started to move around with her, trying to guide her away and out of that. And the guards were guiding all of them out of the crowd. Evi then quickly walked up to Noori and Barka walked away from there, wanting to come back to his human self. "What..... how did you do that? What happened ?" Nori asked Evelet, and immediately she started to shake her head. Not understanding. "I don't know........I have no idea what happened for sometime, I thought that something was guiding me and it happened....... I have no idea .." She said, not even being able to come up with words. "I cannot believe what I just saw.. She could have died and we have seen a lot of wolves die like this. And even Misi couldn't help us. But you did it, you saved them." She said, proud of her Queen. "Thank you so much, my Queen please......." Immediately a woman came rushing behind the queen, but right there and then two large female guards stood right in front of the queen, and the woman. She was the same woman who was crying before for her daughter. She knew that she just wanted to meet Evi, talk to her. "It's okay." She said to one of the guards. And they just moved a bit away while Evi walked up, taking the women's hand. She was literally shaking and crying, holding Evi hands tight and keeping her forehead in her hand. "I am so thankful you saved my child's life..." She said weeping and this was so emotional. Evi just wanted to help, not expecting this to come from it. "Please stand up." Evi said, and the women did so. She then looked at her Queen properly. "She is my only child, and you saved her life. And I want to thank you for what you did, you are a blessing for this Kingdom." She let out and there was a sudden stab in Evi's chest as her smile dropped at her words. Because the statement made her so glad, and made her feel amazing in her heart. She did not want to cry but the lady was trying to make Evi cry. Slowly Evelet glanced away from her and looked at the father and daughter, as the wolf trying to rest right under her father's legs and her father sitting down with her. It was a beautiful site, too beautiful. "Please go stay with your daughter. She needs you." Evi said and immediately the woman nodded her head, understanding that was the right thing to do. "Thank you so much, thank you for everything." She said one last time and started walking away, leaving her there all alone. However, Evi had no idea why, but it made her so emotional. However, right there and then the guards started to lead her to the castle that was not too far away, making sure she was safe and their eyes roaming every where Nori, on the other hand, she had a big smile on her face. She was so glad that she just witnessed something like this. "I am telling you, Evi. You are made for this Kingdom. I told you your people will love you and now you are everything to them." She said, grabbing on to her arms, and holding her tight as they walked into the castle gates, but Evi stopped right there, not wanting to go inside, not yet. However, right then the cards left her alone, walking away and surprising her. Not understanding why this suddenly left. "What happened?" She asked and Nori's eyes went wide open as she looked behind her friend. Evelet too turned around to see it was Barka and he was walking up to her, mad as hell. And she instantly gulped, knowing what was going to happen. "What were you thinking?" He said, rushing up to her and standing so close that their chests were meeting. but by then Evi noticed that the gates were closing up. "You could have got hurt, she could have attacked you and hurt you. You are still not perfectly well Evelet, you were attacked." He kept on saying and screaming at her, while behind her Nori was trying to calm him down, so that they both did not have another fight. But Evi, on the other hand, she was looking at the gates that were closing and that was giving her some sort of anxiety. "WAIT STOP." She said, placing her hands forward, and her action came shocking to everyone there. Barka immediately turned around and noticing what she was saying. "STOP THE GATES......" He screamed and her eyes spread wide open at the voice that came out of him, but the gate stopped. He looked back at her, looking down into her eyes. "Answer my question, what is going on with you?" He asked. "I don't want to go inside of the castle right now, I want to see the Kingdom."She said and immediately he stared at her for a few seconds. "You want to go outside?" He asked and she slowly nodded her head with her big bambi eyes staring at him. Because he has never seen anyone who ever has visited his Kingdom do this, what to go see the Kingdom. His extended family or some other kings, no one. "Please, I want to go see the kingdom, see my people." She said, and it was something he loved to do as well. He was attached and close to his people, and now seeing her do this, and ask him for something, it completely changed something inside of him, and as to the way he was looking at her. "I want to meet my people before the crowning, before I become their queen. I want to see my kingdom." She said, coming right to the point and at that moment, he was still staring at her. As Barka quickly moved his hand around, indicating for them to open the gates entirely. And right then, more guards started to come, surrounding her. But now her face fell. She shook her head. "What happened?" He asked. "Without guards." She said to him, keeping a condition. How ever, this time he clenched his jaw, knowing she was asking for much more. "Please.." Evelet whispered, and something strange was happening inside of him. "You can yell at me all you want after we come back. She said as innocently as possible and this was something he could not let go off. This was something that was holding him tight as he slowly nodded his head. "Then I am coming with you." He let out, something she did not predict but she couldn't ask for more. And so she nodded, agreeing to him. Both of them agreed with each other and this was for the first time in their entire life. It was strange, especially for Nori. Who was there, watching all of this happen through her own eyes. Not even ready to believe her own eyes. "What the hell is going on here? Nori whispered to herself.
