At long last, we set foot on the beach where there was no one else around. Staring at the beach itself was already relaxing not just externally, but also internally where my mind is being kept. The splashing sounds of the water was giving a pleasant sound to our ears. I sensed Rain’s hand tapping my shoulder which brought me back to my senses since I have entirely forgotten about the fact that I am still carrying her behind me. “Oh, right. Sorry, here.” Little by little, I bent my knees like I did earlier at the road to let her step at the ground. “This time for real, we’re here now, Rain,” I said as she advanced forward, removing the sandals that she wore.
