Arielle’s POV I woke up feeling like I'd been hit by a truck. Every part of my body hurt. I groaned and slowly opened my eyes, staring at the ceiling above my bed. For a moment, I couldn't remember what had happened. Then, flashes came rushing back. Golden eyes. Pain. So much pain. It felt like my bones had been breaking apart, one after another.
