Arielle’s POV
Another growl ripped through the warehouse.
The sound was so loud the walls almost seemed to shake with it.
Another growl followed.
Closer this time.
My heart hammered violently against my chest.
Then suddenly, the metal warehouse door burst open with a deafening crash.
Everything happened too fast after that.
A huge dark wolf lunged at the first man near the entrance and threw him hard across the room before anyone could react.
Gunshots immediately exploded everywhere.
The wolf moved impossibly fast.
One second it was near the door.
The next it was tearing another man away from me before he could even raise his weapon properly.
The glowing blue eyes landed on me briefly before returning to the men surrounding us.
