Lucy is a simple girl living a small town and she is also an heiress to her father. Lucy's mother sadly died while she was still a little girl. her father, got married to a widow who has a child about the age of Lucy. He wanted the two children to become friends but her new step sister kept on teasing her about her really long hair. it's really long that she has to braid it for hours for it to reach her feet. unfortunately for Lucy, her father also passed away leaving her in the care of his new wife. her evil step mom locked her up in a tower saying that she is better off forgotten to the world. deep inside the small town, there is an arrogant king/prince with the name of Romero. he is also an orphan as both is father and mother had died since when he was of young age. he grew up to be an arrogant and cruel man. a sea witch came to his castle for help and not knowing who she was, the prince turned her away saying that she was hideous. the now angry witch, after being rejected, cursed the price and turned him into a hideous beast, more hideous than the face she came to him with. the prince begged for mercy after that and his whole castle begged for mercy, so the sea witch gave him a rose, a white rose. the rose petals would fall, one every day and when the last dropped, then he would become. beast for the rest of his life but then, a young beauty with the heart of gold, hair as bright as the sun and long as the mountain peak, she is the only one that could reverse the curse and it was said that she will come with the breeze of the winter. The prince, every winter would organize a feast for the whole maidens of his town and hid his face with a mask from the whole people as there always tend to run away whenever he tries to show his true face. for many years, his maiden didn't show up and the rose petals kept on falling and him becoming more of a beast than a man. one Winter, Lucy who is now a maiden decided to sneak out of her tower using her hair as a rope as her step mother has went to the ball with her daughter in hope that she would he the chosen bride of the prince who's face was never seen by a soul. unknown to Lucy, she has traveled far away from her tower and into the prince's castle. Lucy saw some beautiful white roses all over the place and decided to pick some for herself. unfortunately for her, the prince was also there as he has grown tired of the feast and decided to take a walk and also open up his hideous face. The furious prince took her captive for trying to steal his precious life line and imprisoned her in one of his towers. news got around the palace and everybody wanted to see the girl who looked just like their saviour. they tried to get them closer to each other. at first, they did nothing but fight but they later started to tolerate each other as Lucy has accidentally seen his face one day and didn't send terrified but rather, mesmerized by his unique features. that melted the prince's heart and he fell in love with her. he tried to set Lucy free but Lucy now has nowhere to go and she has finally fallen in love with the beast. Lucy's step mother heard about her being in the castle and went to take her. furious at the poor girl, she cuts off her hair and locked her up in a really tall tower. Lucy has no way to escape now until one day, the prince came to her rescue. they shared their first kiss just as the last petal of his rose was perishing. the prince finally became his handsome human being again and Lucy's hair grew back, more longer and shinier that it had ever been. the two got married in his castle and they lived happily ever after.
