Chapter1
Captain Eliza Frey is a 35-year-old female Captain of a pirate ship named The Lovely Lotus and its crew. All the men in the ship's crew are fiercely loyal to Captain Frey. Probably because she had saved each of their lives at the time they met. She was notorious for buying men bound for the gallows after visiting with the prisoner for only moments. This granted Captain Eliza a large crew to man the Lovely Lotus pirate ship, a crew that would protect her with their lives.
Captain Eliza is 5 foot 7 inches tall, has long black hair, and sea green eyes. Even though she is the captain, she still uses her womanly wiles daily, especially since she noticed that it helps keep up the moral and comradery on the ship. So, Captain Eliza wears tight corsets that push her breasts high and on display.
She flirts shamelessly with the men on her crew, and she has been known to regularly invite a crew member or two into the captain’s quarters for the night. Surprisingly this way of living has only been challenged once in her ten years as Captain, when a young crewman thought that because he had spent one night with the captain that she was “his.”
He was swiftly educated on the way of things and hadn’t had a problem since. In an odd way it seems to bring the crew closer together and more loyal. The captain pretty much keeps the same routine each evening, regardless of which member of the crew was accompanying her for the night. Every day Eliza had everyone on the ship stop what they were doing to watch the sunset, she said that she had spent the last ten years chasing that moment because there is magic in it.
As a child her father had told her tales of a magical island where the sun meets the sea. On this island there are hundreds of magical creatures including fairies, pixies, and most especially mercreatures, story told that there was a vast system of caves that hundreds of mercreatures dwelled in. The story claimed that if you were in the exact right spot at the exact right time, you could see the island in the distance as the sun set.
After watching the sun set, the Captain Eliza often chose a male companion for the evening, every member of the crew had joined her one night or another. Then they would retire to the Captains Quarters for the rest of the night, not to be disturbed until morning save three exceptions. Exception 1: food and hot water for bathing, Exceptions 2: land sighting, exception 3: under attack. As soon as they are behind closed doors the men on the crew all understand they must bathe immediately, rushing to the basin where hot water and sweet-smelling soap wait for them. They strip down to nothing and bathe thoroughly.
Once they are clean and sweet smelling, they are provided with soft cotton pants to wear for the duration of the evening. Then he calls for the large copper tub and hot water for the Captain’s bath and supper. At once, the men on the crew bring in the large tub and soon have it filled with hot steaming water, as well as a scrumptious meal laid out on the table including meat, cheese, bread, pickles, and dried fruits and sweet red wine. Within minutes Captain Eliza and the crewman of the night are alone once more.
