I woke up late today. Felix didn't wake me up and let me sleep in. I got out of bed and immediately prepared for work. Call me crazy but I was not going to stay back and not go to work. That would be like running away. It's almost like admitting defeat to your enemy. No matter how hard it was, I was going to work.
On the other hand, I know Felix will be against it. He purposefully didn't wake me up so I would get more rest and not go to work. I appreciate him being thoughtful but I won't be staying in the bed.
Once I got ready I tried to sneak out of the house without telling anyone but I ran into Marinette. I froze like a deer caught in headlights. I sighed as she sternly glared at me. I know what I was doing was wrong but I don't feel like arguing with anyone.
