Chapter CVII - PREPARATION PART III
The sunlight slapped my face real hard from my deep and peaceful sleep.
Realization struck me as I suddenly remembered I forgot to close the curtains by my windows last night. I unconsciously checked the wall clock and it was only 7am. Now, I woke up an hour earlier from the alarm I set up.
I got up and walked straight towards my window just like what I often do first thing in the morning when I was still living here. My siblings are already at the yard, playing and having breakfast. Malcolm, the fourth child among us, looked above and when our eyes met, he waved his hand. He yelled to get down and have breakfast.
