Chapter 26 The Name She Kept
Vivienne parked in front of the Bennett & Park Agency, took a breath, and walked in. Her appearance set off a stir in the office. She hadn't been seen in public since the hospital. The staff looked surprised — then lit up. "Vivienne, you're back!" "Feeling better?" "We missed you." Vivienne smiled and answered each one, but inside she still wasn't used to it. She hadn't expected to find somebody with her exact name in this world, living a totally different life. For a second, it felt bitter. And then — lucky.
