Nora and her older brother Xander don't have the choice: they are sent to the boarding school of Saint Raphael, where too many people seem to know too many things about their family. Why does everyone refuse to answer their questions? And more importantly: what is this sound calling them into the woods?

Welcome to Nowhere
-That's your fault.                                                                                                                                                                                      I took a deep breathe. Quiet Nora, stay put. Don't even move a finger. You know that your beloved brother is   being an A-class A-hole because deep down inside of his heart, he is just very very sad. And sadness doesn't   add well with teen hormones.                                                                                                                                               -We could have stayed home, but you had to show everyone how smart you are!                                                     -Or maybe everyone was just too tired to hear you complaining all day long!                                                Oopsie. Didn't see that one coming! Keep quiet Nora, keep quiet!                                                                               -That's not complaining Sis, it's called being honest. Something you can't do because you're such an ass-kisser!                                                                                                                                                                                         I felt my jaws clenching. Oh you, dirty little cockroach...                                                                                                -See! You can't even answer to me because you just can't...                                                                                           -SHUT UP!                                                                                                                                                                           The car stopped right at the moment I glared angrily at him. His mouth opened, like he wanted to answer   back, but I was too furious to let him.                                                                                                                                 -I get it! You're upset and your inner bully needs a victim, but you better don't try to pick on me because here, I am the only family, only friend and only ally you'll find who won't run away because of your f*****g temper, so shut your mouth and get out of that f*****g car!                                                                                                  Xander kept silent, looking simultaneously at me and our car driver, like he wasn't sure about what just happened. The driver just opened his door, get out of the car and went around it to open the door for me. Well, that guy had nerves made of steel. I looked daggers at my brother and stormed out of the car. I took a deep breath, at least the hundreth since we got into the car. No matter how much I knew that he was speaking under the influence of anger, my brother words hurt me. Maybe that deep down, I felt somehow guilty, even if reason was telling me that none of us were culpable for anything. Still, driving out all negatives ideas from my mind was the best thing to do, at least for now; it wasn't the best time for self-pity.                                        Maybe later.                                                                                                                                                                             I raised my head and silently contemplated the gigantic building in front of me. "Welcome to Saint Rafael". A boarding, lost in the middle of 1 4410 hectares of pine trees.                                                                                        -That's a big lodge, commented Xander, standing next to me.                                                                                       I didn't need to look at him to feel that he was done with his little nervous breakdown.                                            -It's called a chalet, moron.                                                                                                                                                He held me a hand, palm open up.                                                                                                                                      -For the swear jar, sis.                                                                                                                                                            I rummaged in one of my pockets, grumbling, and handed him a crumpled bank note.                                            -Welcome to our new home, sis.                                                                                                                          Yeah. Welcome to Nowhere.
