“Not yet, I just gave you my yes. That’s it. You can leave when Nanny Leonila comes back.”
Avalon wanted to jump in his happiness, but he suppressed it momentarily because Princess Alexandria might feel awkward as she is already.
When Nanny Leonila came.
“Thank you so much, I need to go now.”
“I just brought food. Would you like to feed her?”
Avalon smiled and looked at Nanny Leonila and she winked at him.
“Okay, I will if it’s okay with the Princess.”
“Oh it’s.okay. Here.”
“Let me help her sit first.”
When Princess Alexandria was settled and propped as she sat, Avalon fed her. She didn’t look at Avalon. After five servings of the soup, she told him she wanted to rest already. Avalon knew it was time for him to go. When he was gone.
“Nanny Leonila, I just answered him yes. He is now my boyfriend.”
“What?”
Nanny Leonila’s jaw dropped in amazement.
“What happened?”
“Remember I told you the last condition. Am I right, it was just between you and me?”
“Yeah, why what is wrong?”
“Nanny Leonila, it happened this morning. Father called me while mother looks after him.”
Nanny Leonila stared at her and trying to comprehend what the Princess is saying.
“Then he told me that he wants Avalon to be my husband.”
“Are you pulling my leg Alexandria?”
“No, Nanny Leonila. Father told me that. And since this morning my head has been aching and I am not sure I wanted to follow.”
“So what made you do it?”
“I assumed that even if I wanted somebody else, I would still fall back to him. Why will I prolong it?”
“So that’s why Avalon’s face shines all over and there is a glow in him.”
“Really?”
“But what about you?”
“I will be okay, Nanny Leonila.”
That night my cousins came and everybody was teasing me.
“So, Alexandria. Have you thought of the King’s wish?”
I smiled and shot back.
“He is already my boyfriend since last night.”
“Woaw! You bad girl, you like the guy after all?”
“No, I just answered him without feelings. I don’t need to like the guy to make him my slave.”
“Ohhh..evil Princess.”
After all the fuzz ended and I was alone with my mother, the Queen. She talked to me.
“Did you really made Avalon your boyfriend?”
“Yeah, I guess.”
“Do you even love him?”
Alexandria looked down.
“No.”
“Why did you do it?”
“I am not sure, something in him made me do it.”
“I was told before that a sweet loving guy will make a woman fall at some point. He is sweet and loving.”
“Let’s see. But what if in the future I still can not love him?”
“Give the relationship some time, if you can’t have the space to love him, at least you tried.”
Avalon would come to the castle every afternoon after work and he will check on the Queen and the King ng and if they need any assistance with anything. Then he could have time with his beautiful girlfriend, Princess Alexandria.
One day when Avalon went to see the King, he looked at the King from afar. The King ng saw him and looked at him. His face conveyed to Avalon a message and Avalon understood his facial expression. It was ‘please take care of my daughter’. And Avalon just nodded. Then Avalon went to the Princess to take care of her.
“Have you eaten, I brought some pastries for you?”
“What is it?”
“They said this is delicious, some cheese bread with lots of cheese.”
“Oh okay, have you eaten dinner?”
“I will just eat at home.”
“Okay, then let’s eat what you brought.”
“I will get some cutleries for you Alexandria.”
Avalon is sweet and loving to Alexandria and he would always think and assist her first. For eight days they have bonded during afternoons and the Princess gets her flowers every morning that she wakes up. Avalon would come in the morning just to hand Nanny Leonila flowers to place on her bed when she wakes up.
On their tenth day that they had a relationship, something happened and the Princess, Alexandria is devastated. She cried and cried. Her eyes swell and her body lame.
