PROLOGUE
The music was loud. The lights were dim. And alcohol? Strong enough to blur lines that should’ve never been crossed.
“Isa pa,” Ysabelle whispered, raising her glass with a tipsy smile. It was the company’s anniversary celebration—supposed to be just a night of fun. No pressure. No responsibilities. No regrets.
But fate had other plans.
Vincent Von Ortega Mondragon, the CEO himself, was never one to mingle. Cold. Calculated. Ruthless. Yet that night, he was standing beside her at the open bar, drink in hand, eyes darker than the night sky.
“Sure ka ba?” he asked, his voice low, teasing, dangerous.
She nodded. Too drunk to think straight. Too heartbroken from life to care.
What started as flirtation quickly turned into a blur of passion and poor choices. A one-night mistake. Or so she thought.
Because weeks later, two pink lines would turn her world upside down.
And he can never know.
Ysabelle was just an ordinary office worker trying to survive. Vincent was a powerful man with secrets and a past darker than she could imagine. They never should’ve met, but now their lives are tangled in ways they can’t escape.
Will one night of weakness lead to a lifetime of chaos—or something far more unexpected?
