It all happened with two girls who lost their parents, and were to live with their parents close friend because none of their parents family want them around.while still living with their parents friend, they got ma treated badly. On sunny day as the woman (their parents friend) sent the older one Reiya to hawk some goods before eating breakfast , her own two kids were actually dressing and getting ready for school.when Reiya junior sister Sarah Saw this she was happy hoping sooner she and her elder sister will also start a school.but little did she knows that her senior sister Reiya has been sent out to sell some goods before taking breakfast. Out of anger , the woman land Sara a hot slap that hurts so much, Sarah was left to her self after falling hard to the slap she had received from Rachel's mother who happened to be their parents friend particular their mother friend Later that day after, Reiya came back to meet her sister still on the floor.Reiya sighting her sister from afar rush down in to help her up.after she helped Sarah Reiya ask "Sarah what happened?" and Sarah explained. As the woman came out, she stopped by them and she began to talk at them in an insulting way and said,"look at them! their parents never used their youthful days to prepare instead they used it in giving birth to children and now look at them, even the family members,none want you around because when your parents were alive the never give out or get use to any of them not even taking care of them in a little way.but look at me, my husband is dead and yet my two children, "Rachel and Lawrence "are going to school and not just a school but a private and moderate school which you two can never attend because it is meant for rich kids like mine, and mind the both of you ,my taking you to my self is for for my own advantage which I have not start to show you." in this threat she was telling them the worst she's yet to show them as they live with her. CHAPTER TWO After everything she gave them some works to do which includes laundry.as Reiya and Sarah do the laundry work,they were told, there won't be food for them, and she asked Reiya for the money she made for the goodies she went to sell earlier. Reiya gave the money faithfully and she set her sister up to finish the laundry work., while they set to wash, a woman who lives very close to the girls house named Mrs Hart who got divorced by her husband due to unablment in conceiving a child called them and offered them food to eat in public for them to have a little strength while doing their job, since their mistress has refused to offer them any. Reiya decide on acting mature and refused the food offer from Mrs Hart and request for water instead. meanwhile Sarah was not very please to her sister's action and she was forced out of her hungry mood and spoke to her sister "sister,why would you reject an offer like that when you know we have none to eat and you well know how much we're dying of hunger here?" in reply to Sarah Reiya said to her sister " I am so sorry, I know that you are hungry and so I my. look here,I too just came back from the street of sale making me more hungry but you know well if we accept the offer and we by accident get caught,we will be in a very big trouble, so you will seat while I do the laundry work." "but sister this is not fair " Sarah said. while Sarah and Reiya communicate,it moved mrs Hart who was standing afar off and been carried away by the emotions she accidentally drop her plate containing food which caught Reiya's attention, Reiya then move closer to her and helped her up and as well using her right hand to dry up the tears running down from Mrs Hart face,then Reiya asked for water. Immediately Mrs Hart went in and get Reiya and Sarah some water to drink. few minutes later their mistress went out visiting one of her friend, after some moments,mrs Hart came up with a plan to help Reiya and Sarah with their laundry work as she called some few laundry workers to help them.reiya was worried about the help but her happy sister Sarah won't let her reject the offer. some few minutes later, the laundry work got completed which got Sarah so excited but Reiya was worried about the money to pay the laundry women but she was assured by Mrs Hart to clear the bills before a smile was dropped on Reiya face. CHAPTER THREE As Reiya and Sarah were drying the clothes which were washed Rachel and Lawrence, their mistress children walked in "welcome sis Rachel"Sarah greeted and Rachel also answer but Lawrence not waiting to get his own greeting simple because he hate the two girls went in straight and realizing that his mother was not around he ate and immediately went out to play football with his friends about his mother had already warned him several not to go out when ever she's not around. After the work that was handed to the two sisters they decide on getting the cassava flour that they've been asked to eat by their mistress before she went out, that they meet with Rachel who was warming up the delicious food that has been prepared and kept for her to eat once she gets back from. Reiya and Sarah sighting Rachel in the kitchen get them scared and they stepped back about taking their leave when Rachel called them back,. Rachel asked them if they've eaten and they lied they have when they've not eating but due to the fear in them but Rachel was different from her brother and mother, she loves the girls just like her own. when Rachel called the girls back to have their way to the kitchen to get what they want, she saw what the girls were about eating and she was displeased and decide to shorten her own portion of food just for her to share and give the girls as well. when the two sisters saw this they were moved and full of gratitude to Rachel for her love towards them. The two sisters ate joyfully the delicious food that has been given to them by a loved one. after eating Sarah complained not been full then Reiya asked her to take the cassava flour they intended on taking before but Sarah refused to do so because she believe that taking the cassava flour would take away her taste of the delicious food she had eaten CHAPTER FOUR Later that day, after they've finished eating they went out and packed up the clothes they've washed and fold them up. after that they went on to tidy up the house surrounding and while doing this their mistress walked in and met them doing the work she has assigned them to do but she was not please as she asked them "you are still tiding the house since I left, what of the clothes I asked you to wash?" "mom they've packed it" a voice came behind answering the question, which happens to be Rachel answering.
