Day1
It's dark and loud. The sound of cars driving by and the air speeding past me would be pretty distracting, but the girl in the window of this shop. She's much more distracting than anything else. The light was almost blinding. As I faced away from the window, the darkness was too great for my eyes as I had been staring through a lit up window. I had been standing her for... 40 minutes, maybe...? Yes, I was standing here watching her. I'm aware that I'm strange. Not a lot of people would be happy to hear about my habit. At this point, I started to think that I should enter the shop and actually interact with her. Eventually, I entered. The bell on the door rang when I entered. She's on her phone. I gazed at her as I walked in and made my way to a table. I sit down after pulling up my chair. "Oh- sorry sir -" She'd say, once noticing me. She put her phone down and approached me. "I'm not used to people coming in around at this time.." She apologized again. I have her a warm smile. "Don't worry about it, dear.." I said. I noticed her mood change a bit once I said this. Maybe I wasn't supposed to say that...? Her face began to turn a bit red. Oh, I guess that was the right move. I smiled, noticing she took a liking to the name, "dear." "What can I get you tonight..?" Yes, she said "tonight." Her shift was around 11 each night. "What's your specialty? anything you're best at making..?" I'd ask with a smile. She began to nod. "I can make my favorite coffee if you don't have any allergies.."She replied. "No allergies.. you can make whatever you'd like for me.." He smiled. She nodded and went to make the coffee. she took her time and then soon came back to me. "Here you go.." I picked the coffee up and sipped at it. "Oh my god.. that is so good - how did you make something so good..?" I smiled, and yes, I was over exaggerating. "Sam, by the way.. that's my name.. who might you be..?" I asked her. She looked at me, and it seemed her face was a bit red. "Valintina.. or you can just call me Val.." My eyes widened a bit. "You have such a pretty name.. Val..." I gazed at her. "Well, I need to start heading home now - enjoy your coffee.." As she got ready to leave, she gave me a smile. I'd place my hand on my chest as it began to beat faster. I nodded and decided to leave as she did. "Maybe we could meet up or hang out someday, Val." I spoke with a smile. Soon, I began to leave. Once I leave I kept looking at the cup in my hand. I was looking for handwriting of some sort or anything else left behind from her. What I didn't expect to find was her number written on the side, a little heart next to it. my face may have gotten a bit red in that moment. As I begin to walk on the sides and notice Val in the distance. I continue to follow her. I do know where she lives. I headed back to my house, and I knew what I was going to do. I dressed up in a black hoodie and grabbed a black mask to go with it. The only part of my face that I left uncovered was my eyes.I entered the bedroom and went up to a large shelf. I place my hand on the side of the shelf and begin slide it open, the shelf came off the wall like a door, I stand there looking through a door frame and down a dark stair way. I begin walking into the room and down the stairs. It leads to a room which I put up myself. There's multiple counters within the seemingly spacious room. Blades and weapons of all kinds hang on the wall along with tools, not a single gun, however. I take a seat at a counter and grab some bleach and other chemicals. Yes, I do keep chemicals down here. Eventually, I'd finished the chloroform mixture. I grabbed a small cloth and headed back upstairs, I left my place. I headed towards Val's place. It was right down the hall. This should be easy. I managed to get into the door, and immediately, I came face to face with her. She definitely thought she was getting robbed. I lunged at her and wrapped my arms around her so she couldn't run. with my other hand, I reached into my pocket and pulled out the cloth, I pulled it up to her face and held it over her mouth. Her struggling would soon fade. Yeah, I know, it got dark quick, but it will get better. I picked her up in my arms and shut the door behind me so no one would see. I carried her into her bedroom and layed her down on the bed. I pulled a blanket over her with a smile, suddenly a cat jumped up on the bed and hissed at me. I'm not going to cause any trouble with the cat,I actually like cats. I stood straight and looked around the house for something I could keep. I stand at a shelf and open a drawer, taking one of her shirts. I'd then leave the apartment, locking it behind me.
