Chapter 3: The dark disturbance

'Get prepared Pear,' Jaden said. While getting out her blade, Jaden darted behind me. She attacked the side of my torso and kicked me back. I ran back to her and I got out my sword barraging the front of her torso making her slowly go forward. Jaden tried to block my sword but it was no use, she couldn't change the direction she was heading to. When we were getting closer to the tree, I stopped attacking and hit her with a final strike making her go back to the tree.

'I won!' I shouted cheerfully while turning around.

'Not quite,' Jaden said. Somehow, she was behind me with her sword on guard.

'She stopped herself from getting flung into the tree,' Justin told me. Jade started running to me with her sword held down against the side of her body.

While running Jaden cried, " This is what happened with you and Andrew!"

'Wel-,' I was interrupted by Jade's sword. It had shattered one layer of my armour. I had four layers left. I was pushed back to the tree. Once again I had lost.

'And that proves you gotta pay more awareness of your opponent in battle,' Jaden said.

'Thank you,' I said to Jaden. She smiled at me. Justin and Junior walked towards us.

'Time to head back,' Justin said

'Alright,' me and Jaden replied. Junior made a similar noise. We started to walk back to the Knighthood castle. Suddenly, a noisy sound was heard near us. We decided to go take a look and when we did, we knew we had made a big mistake. We saw an eerie beast, it had a massive body, sharp teeth the size of a human head, green ghoulish skin, red eyes and razor nails that had tiny flickers of blood. It looked at me and then Jade. The beast rushed at me first. I chopped a small amount of his skin. Justin leapt on its back, stabbing it and slicing it. The creature didn't show any sign of pain and grabbed Justin. Jaden attempted to cut the creature's hand but it grabbed her with the other hand and threw her on the floor. I tried to chop his skin but he grabbed me and started to smash me up and down. I spat out a bunch of blood. My ribcage was broken and so was my leg.

'Dark claw,' it grunted. The claw that Justin was in suddenly started burning but instead of orange and red blazes, it was black.

'He's burning,' I yelled out. The creature wasn't in pain however, Justin was shrieking in pain. The flames were on his armour.

'Justin!' I screamed. Jaden got up and cut the creature's toe, once again it didn't feel pain. The creature kicked Jaden into the air. She was unconscious before she hit the floor. Justin was also unconscious. He had burn marks on his face.

'Guys!' I yelled. The creature walked towards me with its burning hand. Junior jumped in front of me. The creature kicked Junior away. I looked down at my shoes. Its claws were at my neck. SHING! Its neck was chopped off. Mr Robert was in front of me. The monster was evaporating away. I fainted because of the pain. Mr Richard grabbed us all and returned to the castle. Again, a battle failed.
