Solaris' POV Exiting the dungeons carefully, roaring filled our ears, and the air smelt heavily of smoke and burning flesh. I knew I couldn't stop Kesiray from fighting, though I did wish she'd hang back due to her injured wings. I wouldn't tell her she couldn't fight, not that she would listen anyway. "Lok out!" I shouted, spreading my wings to try and shield the three of us from the stream of dragon fire raining down from above. Phoenix wings could take a certain amount of fire before we started to feel the effects, but no burning sensation came.
