SCENE 10 ;

fade in from black: In a large business meeting room filled with men and women in business formal attire gathered at a long table. The small twenty four hour clock on the wall ticks loudly for a clock its size. Karl sitting at the head of the table clears his throat as a younger man (Steven) comes into the room late with a loosened tie and a three ring binder filled with pages. Steven places the binder afront Karl on the table and takes a seat on the left of the table tightening his tie.

(comical) *sigh* [Karl] : “Hershel, we need punctual people here, next time come on time or don’t come at all.”

Steven gave a reluctantly forced smirk.

(sorry) *sigh* [Steven] : “yeah, will do.”

Karl shakes his head at Stevens lack of seriousness. Steven is younger than the majority of the room and all look at him.

(casual) *smirk* [Karl] : “you’re the new guy so I’ll say this calmly, if you’re not on time people get away, as a bounty hunter...”

Karl was cut off mid speech by Steven leaning back in his chair.

(irritated) *wince* [Steven] : “I know, I’m sorry, can we move on please? I feel bad about it already.”

Steven looked around him as the clock filled the silence with ticking. the eyes on him never said a word.

(change of subject) *taps pen on desk three times* *sigh* [Karl] : “Anyways, let’s focus on the next bounty, 3000 dollars for whomever brings me Harvey James Staton alive.”

***FADE TO BLACK***

SCENE 11 ;

Fade in from black

Sitting in the Drave dining room; Harvey, Sarah, Kim, and Ashley all enjoying an afternoon meal. The mahogany garnished with a silk tablecloth and flower center piece. each of their plates topped with; breaded sole, potatoes, and sided by a garden salad. The player piano down the hall playing a melody, Sarah takes the gravy cup on the table and pours it on her potatoes, She hands the gravy to Harvey, He does the same.

(Thankful) *wince* [Harvey] : “Thanks, you know, you don’t have to do all this. I feel I’ve been a burden.”

Sarah shrugs her shoulders and smirks, Ashley and Kim look at one another. harvey picks up his fork.

(Happily) *smirk* [Sarah] : “It’s your birthday, we’re celebrating”

Harvey smiles stabbing his fork into a piece of potato. As they eat the player piano down the hall slowly stops playing. The grandfather clock in the corner gave a loud dong to signal one in the afternoon. as they finished eating they all stood and picked up their plates. the began walking down the hall signal file to the kitchen. half way down the hall Harvey cleared his throat.

(polite) *sigh* [Harvey] : “I’ll get the dishes, just leave them on the kitchen counter, and I’m going for a walk after want me to bring the dog?”

Sarah and Kim smirk as Ashley is first in the kitchen. The kitchen consisted of; a large stove, two refrigerator-

-s, a messy collection of pots and pans, a large triple sink, and a chandelier light fixture. Sarah puts her plate on the counter and Kim follows, Ashley puts her plate in one of the three sinks and turns on the foset. Harvey placing his plate on the counter gives a questioning look.

(questioningly) *raised eyebrow* [Harvey] : “But I said...”

Sarah scoffs and crosses her arms. Kim smiles and shakes her head. Ashley continues washing the dishes as Harvey continues his questioning gaze.

(amused) *uncrossed arms* [Sarah] : “Again, it’s your birthday. if you want to walk, you walk. we’ll clean up here.”

***FADE TO BLACK***

SCENE 12 ;

FADE IN FROM BLACK

Sunny afternoon, Harvey walks down a city street with the draves chihuahua on a thin leather leash and diamond studded collar. Harvey forced to walk slowly because of the small dog trailing behind him. Every chip in the sidewalk making the dog even slower. a man walking down the street toward Harvey stops and stares at him. As harvey draws nearer he too slows to a stop. the small dog catches up to Harvey and sits beside him.

(surprised) *slowly shakes head* *smirk* [Steven] : “I thought I’d see you eventually but since when are you the chihuahua walking kind of guy?”

Harvey starts to turn and walk away with the the chihuahua by his side but Steven hershel follows. Harvey stops.

(annoyed) *looks over shoulder* [Harvey] : “Tell Karl and David I will have their money, I have a job now.”

Steven gives a light little laugh and smirks at harvey.

(amused) *smirk* [Steven] : “It’s too late Harvey, there is a bounty on you, three grand to be exact. I’m just here to warn you as a friend.”

***FADE TO BLACK***

SCENE 13; slowly fade in from black

In the Drave’s dining room seating Harvey in a plaid shirt and jeans, Sarah in a blue dress, kim in silk and Ashley in a gown satin laced. Sarah being the first to finish got up and took her plate to the kitchen down the hall by the dining room. Harvey being second took his plate and caught up to Sarah. Harvey turns on one of the three facets of the large sink and begins rinsing his plate off. Harvey gives a depressed look and turns to Sarah

(cautious) *upset clear of throat* [Harvey]: “Sarah, I, I should tell you something.”

As Harvey finishes rinsing his plate Ashley enters the kitchen. Ashley walks over to the sink and as Harvey gets out of her way sarah turns to harvey.

(questioningly) *raised eyebrow and frown* [Sarah]: “what is it?”

Harvey sighs as ashley begins rinsing her plate off and his face falls.

(quickly) * muttering barely audible * [Harvey]: “I’m in debt thirty thousand dollars american and I don’t know if they want interest. They put a underground bounty on my head.”

Ashley turns the water off and places her plate down on the counter, sighs into a grimace and scoffs.

(snide) *scoff* [Ashley]: “honestly how do you get in that much debt at the age of 28!”

Just then Kim enters the kitchen and walks over to the sink oblivious to the situation followed closely by the small dog. Kim turns the water on and rinses her plate and opens the dishwasher built into the island mid kitchen.

(upset) *sigh* [Harvey]: “playing cards.”

Kim turned away from the dishwasher to look at the other three and frowns.

(questioningly) *sigh* [Kim]: “what about playing cards?”

Ashley scoffs yet again and with an air of sarcasm in her voice turns to her mother and sighs.

(snide) *scoff* [Ashley]: “Harvey is in a little bit of debt it seems.”

Sarah now close to tears shakes her head and stutters

(stutter) *sad sniffle* [Sarah]: “w - well you can work off the money gardening, that should make them drop the bounty right?”

Harvey looks at sarah and sighs. Kim gasps and ashley scoffs and leaves the kitchen.

(slight fear in tone) *sigh* [Kim]: “what do you mean bounty, you never told me he was a criminal!”

Sarah sighs to suppress the tears rolling down her cheek and harvey sarcastically smirks

(upset) *sigh* [Harvey]: “I wish it was the police that were after me at least then they would put me in jail where there is free food and shelter. No I have much worse than that kind of bounty.” ***FADE TO BLACK***

SCENE 14; Fade in from black

Fade into a large office meeting room. Large Office table seats a dozen men in suit and tie, among them is david and Carl at the head of the table. Karl straightens his tie as Hershal walks in late with a large three ring binder which he places a front Karl on the table as he passes by him. As Hershal sits down in an empty chair on the side of the table Karl looks at him critically.

(annoyed) *snide grimace* [ Karl ]: “If you’re going to be late Hershal, yet again (*anger emphasis*), you better have a good leed on Harvey Staton”

Steven Hershal swipes his right hand through his short black hair and leans back into his chair. Karl slowly opens the binder in front of him on the table not taking his autonomous stare away from Hershal.

(hesitant) *sigh* [Hershal]: “I’ve… seen him. we were in public so it would have been difficult to apprehend him myself, but he said he had a job now, and can get your money. you would make more money if you dropped the bounty.”

The sides of karl’s nose cringe in anger at this and he slams the binder shut. He quickly stands up and hits the table.

(angry) *as he hits the table* [Karl]: “Why did you not mention this sooner! Where was he! If you let him get away out some old forgotten friendship bullshit I have had enough of you coming to these meeting now tell me where he was, and don’t lie!

*hits table again*

***Fade quickly to black on Karl hitting table second time***
