Scene 15; fade in from black

In a small Dinner with; a checkered floor, a bar behind a counter, stained glass windows, and leather bar stools lining the counter. The large menu above the bar has an arrangement of food and drinks. Harvey and sarah enter through a glass door dress in winter Jackets and a small bell rings as the door shuts behind them. Victor comes from behind the bar wearing a suit to greet them as they enter.

(happily) *smile* [Victor] “Sarah, what pleasant surprise, and whom might I ask is this you’ve brought with you.”

Victor raises an eyebrow and keeps his smile, Sarah and harvey take seats at the counter and harvey shakes Victor's hand.

(casual) *smirk* [Harvey] : “Name’s Harvey, nice to meet you Victor. Sarah has told me about your little cafe here. I’ll get a coffee.”

Harvey let go of Victor’s hand and Sarah looked at the menu.

(questioningly) *smile* [Sarah]: “I’ll get a caesar salad and a coffee. You sure you wouldn’t like something to eat Harvey? It is lunch time.”

Harvey picked up a menu that Victor had placed on the counter in front of him and gave it a quick glance. Victor looked at harvey with a questioning glare.

(casual) *smirk* [Victor] : “well?”

Harvey smirked at the impatient gaze he was being given. Sarah smirked as well.

(casual) *chuckle* [Harvey]: “I’ll get a sandwich, egg salad.”

Victor looks up from the two of them as the bell on the door rings and a short blond haired man walks into the cafe. The man takes a seat next to Harvey and Harvey turns to look at him and squinted.

(Joyfully) *Smile with light chuckle* [Harvey]: “Alex, is that you? What happened to the mullet.” *continued snicker*

Alex looks at Harvey with surprise and shakes his hand. A smile lights up his face as he sighs and picks up the menu on the counter in front of him.

(snickering) *smirk* [Alex steven Crestmere]: “Yeah, I cut it off, seemed to turn to many eyes toward me now that Karl is after me, ...again.” *smirk*

Harvey looks taken aback at this remark and sighs as well. Alex puts the menu down looks at Victor and clears his throat.

(casual) *clears throat* [Alex Crestmere]:”Just a coffee for me please and some milk and sugar, I’m not to picky about the amount of either.”

Harvey sighed and looked at Alex with a patient gaze. Victor handed harvey a sandwich and Sarah a salad.

(saddened) *Grimace* [Harvey]: “Yeah, he’s after me too. What has him pissed at you this time, cards?” *raised eyebrow*

Alex smirks and places the menu down on the counter, he chuckles and looks at Harvey with a clearly sarcastic appearance.

(sarcastic chuckle) *smirk* [Alex] : “well, it turns out a few months back me David and him were playing omaha hi lo.” *Raises hands in sarcasm* “We were drinking, and we got into an argument over splitting the pot between me and david. So, my drunken self decided to vandalize his brand new ferrari, you know, smashed windshield and mirrors, things like that.” *smirk* “Seemed logical at the time.”

****Fade to black on Victor handing Alex a coffee.****

Scene 16;

Fade in from black

In the yard of the Drave manor, summer day, Harvey doing gardening near the front gate. Ripping out dandelions and placing them in a bucket again. Wearing blue jeans and a red yellow plaid shirt. The clouds above gave a thunder clap and harvey looks to the sky. A chipmunk races by the garden as harvey looks back down to his weeding. Harvey clicks his tongue at the chipmunk, which stops and looks back before running into a hedge. Harvey stands picking up the bucket of now dead dandelions and a water can next to him. Harvey walks along the garden watering the plants with his left hand and carrying the weed bucket in his right. As he reached the end of the front gate garden he walked across the yard to a shed in the corner of the yard.he places the bucket down on the ground to open the shed door. The shed opened with creaking of old hinges and harvey picked up the bucket and stepped in. there was a tool bench in the shed a scattered with landscaping equipment. Near the back of the shed there was a large composter filled with decaying dandelions. Harvey dumped the bucket into the composter and put the watering can on the tool bench.

A mouse ran past Harveys feet as he stepped out of the shed.

(casual) *light chuckle* [Harvey]: hmm… *smirk* guess we have someone living in the shed, might as well get the traps out.

Harvey closes and locks the shed door. Walking away he cleared his throat and sighed. He paced his way up to the large home and just as he reached the front door it swung open rather abruptly as Ashley stepped outside in a rage. Harvey raised an eyebrow.

(questioningly) *frown* [Harvey] : “What happened now.”

Ashley crosses her arms and gives a scorning gaze at Harvey. She gives a scoff and frowns.

(upset) *grimace* [Ashley] : “The dog is dead now… had a seizure. Vet said it was dead on arrival. Mothers Devastated. I’m just worried about Her.”

***FADE TO BLACK***

Scene 17 FADE IN

Kim sitting in a black leather chair on a large balcony on the front of The Drave Manor. It is night and there is a full moon lighting up the sky along with the stars glimmer. A tear rolls down her cheek as she sits in her chair crying. The collar in her hand studded with diamonds was shining in the moonlight. She stood and leaned against the railing of the balcony and sighed. As she stared out into the night a light breeze blew through her hair.

*shiver* [Kim]: “If only, I could have...”

Sarah opens the door to the balcony and steps out into the moonlight. She approaches, Kim slowly turns her head toward her and with a sigh takes hold of her hand.

(comforting) *deep breath* [Sarah]: “It will get better mom, I know it will.” *sighs with sniffle* “just try not to be too pessimistic about all this death, there will always be death… but there will always be life too. You still have me, you still have Ashley, and we all still have a home. ”

Kim let go of Sarah’s hand as Sarah leaned against the balcony as well. Sarah and kim both looked up at the moon as it lightly began to rain.

(sigh) *quick smirk* [Kim]: “At least the garden will be happy tonight...”

***They both slowly turn and go back inside the mansion as they rain picks up along with a loud thunder clap and sound of heavy rain on the quick fade to black.***

scene 18:

Alex walking down the street at night light rain falling as he paces the sidewalk. As he reaches an intersection the street light down the street flickers. He looks up at the full moon and sighs. Player piano melody begins playing with fade in and continues playing as he crosses the street. Slowly walking with hands in his pockets. He kicks a small stone across the street as a snare drum kicks in to the music every four beats.

(singing) *continues to walk* [alex]: “I know it's never easy,” *leans against flickering street light* “I know it’s not what it used, to be.” (chorus kicks in) “ I know you’re scared and alone, but I know, some day the pain will go. I know some day the pain will go.” *sigh and stop leaning on street light as music fades out* (three second silence)

Suddenly a blue ferrari screeches to a stop right beside the street light and two men in suits get out. David and Karl run up to alex and pin him to the ground.

(shouting) *punch alex in the face* [Karl]: “You think you can get away with wicking me Alex! ”

Alex spits blood in Karl’s face and struggles While still being held on the ground by david as Karl stands up. Karl snickers and looks down at the two of them.

(sigh) *smirk* [Karl]: “David, that will do I think he gets the point” *david gets up and so does Alex* “Alex I will let you off you the hook if you do something for me, tell me, where is your old friend Harvey Staton these days.”

Alex looks at the ground, spits out more blood and a tooth. He sighs and looks back up at Karl, clearing his throat he runs his right hand through his hair.

(Sigh) *wince* [Alex]: “Actually, I seen him the other day. He is living with the drave family. In the mansion down the road.”

*** fade to black on camera pan to the full moon ***

Scene 19 fade in ;

Karl’s bounty hunters gang meeting room with Karl at the head of the table and David at the other end. The men and women in suit and tie all looking through their own binders Karl is handed a green three ring binder by Hershal who then sits at the side of the table in an empty seat. Karl flips through a few pages of his binder and scoffs near the middle of the binder.

(annoyed) *scoff* [Karl]: “Harvey James Staton is now located.”

Karl looks up from his binder and looks around the table at the men and women in front of him. David clears his throat.

(sigh) *clears throat* [David]: “we have to decide how to apprehend him, without causing a public disturbance.”

Karl gazed at David with a condescending glare. David returns the look with a raised eyebrow.

(condescension) *subtle angry raise of voice* [Karl] : “It is thirty thousand dollars, I do not care if people are disturbed!”

Everyone leaned back in their chairs as if Karl was going to throw his binder across the room. The clock gave a chime signaling one o’clock. Karl looks at the clock impatiently at this and slams his binder shut.

(angry) *clears throat* [Karl]: “We are going to Drave manor tomorrow afternoon when he is gardening and either he hands me a cheque... or we shoot him; David, Mark, and myself will go it's time to dismiss this meeting.” *Smirk* “and Alex Crestmere is no longer a problem”

***Fade to black***

Scene 20 fade in ;

In the yard of Drave manor Harvey trimming hedges along the large metal fence. He stops as Sarah walks across the yard toward him with Kim at her side. Sarah and Kim reach Harvey and sarah passes him an envelope. Harvey puts down the hedge clippers and opens it pulling out a cheque.

(happily) *smirk* [Harvey] : “Thirty thousand dollars, that will get me out of debt... thank you.”

Harvey put the cheque in his leather jacket pocket and picks up the hedge clippers. Just then a blue ferrari crashes through the nearby gate does a donut and drifts to a stop. Harvey, Sarah and Kim all look shocked. Karl, Mark, and David step out of the car. Karl with a gun in hand paces toward Harvey. David and mark block the gate. Karl reaches within five feet of harvey and points the small hand gun at Harvey. Sarah jumps in front of Harvey distraught.

(in tears) *stutter” [Sarah]: “I-If you’re G-going to shoot him you’ll have to shoot me first!”

Karl pulls the trigger and Sarah drops to the ground. She begins bleeding profusely from the chest. Harvey falls to his knees and sits her up holding her back straight.

(sorrow) *tear rolls down face* [Harvey]: “No, Sarah please keep breathing, It’ll be ok… ” *Looks up at Karl and cringes* “Y-You bastard!”

Karl puts his arm down and looks at Harvey menacingly. Harvey puts sarah back on the ground and stands.

(angry) *grimace* [Karl]: “Harvey, Just give me my money and I will leave no questions asked.”

Harvey reaches into his jacket pocket and pulls out the Cheque. He hands it to Karl with a mournful gaze down at Sarah’s now motionless body.

(glaring) *takes and looks at cheque* [Karl]: “OK... goodbye”

Karl gives a look as if he felt a moment's remorse for what he had done to get his money but walks back to his car calling to David and Mark who approach cautiously. They get back in their car and drive out through the now broken gate leaving tyre tracks Across the yard.

***FADE TO BLACK***
