Chapter Ten

Silence filled my room as I was staring at Sean who was innocently smiling at us, the boys joined the staring party.
It seems like Sean was in a hot seat.
I don't know why the boys was staring into him like how I do, but I think it was because they're confused why I went inside the room with him.
"Guys, this is Sean, my friend.", I finally broke the ice. David nodded as if he finally realized who he was.
"You probably know him, David.", I nodded at him.
"Anyways, I'll be sending my work first and let's hang out outside. It's really boring here.", I said as I rolled my swivel chair towards my working station and sent my work.
E-mail sent!
I smiled in satisfaction and stood up from my chair, and walked towards my walk-in closet.
I haven't took a bath but I washed my hair earlier this morning so that's fine.
I took a jumpsuit and a sweater and quickly changed on the bathroom.
Before I was going to turn the doorknob open, I heard laughter inside my room.
I opened my eyes and squinted at them.
"This guy is really funny.", Ben said. I raised my eyebrow in confusion.
I just went to the bathroom for less than a minute or two, and they went along well at that short time? Is that even possible?
It took me almost a year to get close to David though.
I shook my head in disbelief at the same time sighed in relief.
"Let's go.", I gestured my hand for them to follow me.
I was really glad they already cleaned whatever they did earlier.

Evan nudged my side slightly as he pointed at my ice cream that has been melting in my hands.
"Don't make a mess like a kid.", he scolded. I just grimaced at him and continued eating my ice cream.
I don't know why we're here inside the ice cream parlor.
Out of all places, they chose an ice cream parlor.
"This shop will get a lot of sales for today.", I said out of amazement when a lot of ladies are in line on the counter to take orders.
They occasionally glance here at our table while acting cute and all. I rolled my eyes.
I can't blame these guys are handsome. But I feel bad for the staffs who run here and there to serve orders and such.
Squeals was heard on the ladies on line and I glared at Evan and Steve who was sitting my sides.
"Gosh, you're making it worst.", I scolded Evan and Steve for attracting much more attention than earlier.
Winking and blowing a kiss is not going to help the situation.
When the girls landed their eyes on me, they glared at me like they'll eat me.
I think I gritted my teeth too much that made Steve said, "Easy, easy.", he said.
The other guys laughed at me.
I placed the spoon and half the ice cream I haven't eaten on the table and pushed Evan slightly.
"If you're planning to stay here, I'm not.", I said.
I was pissed for no apparent reason.
"Seojin is no fun.", Kurt pouted.
"This is not fun at all anyways.", I simply said and slipped my hands on the pocket of my hooded jacket.
Spring is already here, but the coldness of winter is still there.
"Where are you going anyways?", I nearly lost my balance when Ruben placed his arm over my shoulder with force.
I kept my balance and walked ahead towards somewhere with much fun.
My lips curved up into a wide grin and said proudly, "Somewhere more fun than that ice cream parlor."
"Who suggested going at the ice cream parlor?", I asked.
"Me?", Albert raised his hand up, uncertain.
I realized they're following me now.
"Are you serious?", I asked.
He shrugged, as the others nodded in unison.
"You're the very least person I thought would suggest something like that.", I shook my head.
"Anyways, where are we going?", Steve asked as his arm were on Sean's shoulder. Never thought they'll be close.
I stopped in front of the place I call my own battlefield at the same time, my palace.
"We're here.", I said.
I went inside and saw that there's no one inside the room.
"Take your seats, gentlemen.", I gestured for them to take their seats.
They confusedly stared at me, flustered.
"Haven't you played in a PC-bang? Overwatch? LOL? DOTA?", I asked.
"Well, we played here sometimes, but we never thought you're into this place.", Albert said.
I just shrugged.
"I am the best player.", Evan beamed.
"Same.", Albert said.
"But I've beaten you twice in this game before. In ranking, Jorge and me is kind of neck to neck.", Kurt beamed.
"Well, at least I'm not a loser like Steve.", David said.
"At least I can beat David and Ruben.", Ben shrugged. By only looking at him, he's just the type of "happy-go-lucky" guy.
"But I haven't played this even once.", Sean said.
"You can watch behind me and learn the basics.", I said and he nodded.
I faced the screen and logged in first.
"Okay guys, Let's play Overwatch first. I'll be Reaper.", I said and my fingers now started to work out. It's been a while since I played this.
I'm winning two times in a row. We decided to do a 1v1 to "test" our skills. And so far, I haven't lost the game to someone.
I've beaten Jorge and Ruben. That's a fresh start.
"Are you taking note of the strategies, Sean?—", I turned my head to look behind me and noticed that he was gone.
He's nowhere to be seen. I stared at the glass door and thought he'll come inside if he went out.
He went to the comfort room?
Nah, he's not a human. Maybe he went back to the realms?
That's even weirder. He said he'll be back once I fixed the chaos I made.
I looked back on my screen and glanced beside me.
That's when I realized they're gone.
All of them.
The only person who was sitting beside me was someone I haven't seen in my life.
But I am sure, he's one of the sons of the deities.
