We had just finished our video call with Mael and Harri and my mind was swirling with all the information we had found out.
Rex and Meredith left the office, taking the twins with them. Ev and Jada also left to head over to the clinic.
I was sitting in Cor’s lap just trying to absorb everything when my mobile phone began to ring. I jumped off Cor’s lap and raced over to where I had left it.
I looked at the caller ID and saw it was Nate, my ex-husband. We had been trying to reach him ever since we got back to Australia, and he had been ignoring my phone calls.
He knew I wanted him to sign the divorce papers and he wasn’t keen to do it, so I guess it was time to tell him about me being with Cor and having the twins. That should spur him into action…I hoped.
