I found a spot that seemed to be unused by humans just on the outskirts of the town. I drove us the forty minutes that it took us to get there.
Cor didn’t say a word the whole drive and I still couldn’t get a read on him. I reached out my hand at one stage and he took it but just sat it in his lap.
When we finally got to the area that should be safe to shift, I pulled the car over and shut it off. Cor immediately climbed out of the car.
I was getting really frustrated by now, so I decided to try using my thought reading power on him. I closed my eyes and pushed as hard as I could at the block he had in place. I could feel him pushing back.
