Once everyone had left, I slumped down on the couch.
“Big day, huh,” Maz said, slumping down opposite me.
“You can say that again,” I replied. I closed my eyes for a minute, but they shot open when I felt myself being lifted. I smiled when I realised Cor just wanted me sitting in his lap.
The kids were watching some movie on the TV and everything seemed right with the world again.
