Since I was already aware of what had happened to Evelyn, I decided I should be the one to broach the subject.
“So, Evelyn, you asked earlier if you could join our pack. May I ask why you would want to leave your home and move halfway around the world? That is if you’re comfortable telling us,” I said to her.
