MAZ POV
I took the kids around the property and wound up back at the front of the house. I decided I should probably go check on Ray and Cor to make sure they hadn’t killed each other, so I set the kids up with drinks and snacks in front of a movie.
I told Kaydee to keep an eye on the other two, being the eldest and the only one not on the spectrum, and I headed out the back door towards the office. I didn’t get very far before I saw Tate heading my way.
“Ah… if you’re heading down to check on Ray and Cor I’d give them a while longer.” he said and shuddered. I wonder what that was about?
“Oh, are they still arguing?” I asked him.
“Not exactly…it’s a little more, um, intimate than that.” he said with a grimace. It was then I heard a loud moan coming from the direction of the office
