RAYLEE POV
I feel like crap, but I drag myself into the shower and throw on a loose flowy dress and three-quarter-length leggings. I just throw my crocs on and hope like hell we aren’t doing much walking. I finally emerged from my room and plastered a fake smile on my face.
“OK, I’m ready, let’s get going.” I said to them.
“Follow me.” Maz says, and we all follow after her down towards the barn.
“Uh, Maz…” I didn’t finish what I was going to say but she seemed to understand.
“It's fine, we need to head this way and I just wanted to show you something real quick in my office.” she says, looking back at me. I just shrug and look down as I continue to follow her.
We get to the barn, and she tells the kids to wait out the front while she shows me something real quick. We both enter
