I was numb. I can’t believe I got pregnant so quickly. I knew I should be excited. I had always wanted more children and I definitely wanted to have Cor’s children, or pups as he called them. But I was terrified.
My mind just swirled with so many issues that would arise based purely on the timing of all this. If I had gotten pregnant after six months, everything would have been perfect. However, I had only met Cor a few short weeks ago and I was already pregnant.
My family would think I had just been screwing around, and some random guy knocked me up.
Then there is the whole issue of the fact that I had just got my body to a stage where I was actually starting to feel confident and now, I’m pregnant, most likely with twins.
